GH: Only think Alexis( clearly Liberal) and Eddie Q vote(Clearly Repub)vote.

Are you taking that based on the mayoral election? Because nobody started voting for seemingly conservative Dorian until she showed her "rainbow" side...and I honestly think the only person who comes close to being Republican is Clint...but that is how Malone wrote him and Carliavati continues to write him. I see the rest of the characters, even Dorian, as bi-partisan or liberal.

AMC is, or rather was, or should be the balance between republicans, bi-partisan, and liberals in order to tell stories. In fact, AMC was more political commentary at times bordering on satire.
