CONTAINS VALENTINE'S DAY EPISODE SPOILERS

ROCK BAND LIFEHOUSE TO PERFORM ON ABC DAYTIME'S "ONE LIFE TO LIVE," AIRING FEBRUARY 15

Los Angeles based rock band Lifehouse will perform on ABC Daytime's "One Life to Live" on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15 (taping on Tuesday, January 10, 2006) at the OLTL studio in New York City. Valentine's Day has always marked an important time for the popular pairing of Michael (Nathaniel Marston) and Marcie (Kathy Brier), and this year is no exception when Michael pops the question. Lifehouse will add to the magic of the day with the performance of their No. 1 hit "You and Me," along with their new single, "Blind" from their third and self-titled RIAA-certified Gold record Lifehouse.

"One Life to Live" has a history of showcasing music on the show including such artists as Simply Red, Chris Botti, Erykah Badu and an upcoming performance with Tito Puente Jr., joined by OLTL's own Kamar de los Reyes ("Antonio Vega") on January 30, 2006.

Fronted by singer guitarist Jason Wade, drummer Rick Woolstenhulme and bassist-singer Bryce Soderberg, Lifehouse released their third album, simply titled Lifehouse, in March 2005 and it has gone on to sell over 800,000 units. "You And Me," the debut single, was a No.1 track at Adult Top 40 radio for six weeks.

"Hanging By a Moment," from the band's first record No Name Face, became a No. 1 hit and was the most-played song of 2001. Sanley Climbfall, the band's Top 10 follow-up, was released in 2002 to critical praise.

Emmy Award-winning "One Life to Live," created by Agnes Nixon, was launched July 15, 1968. Frank Valentini executive-produces. Dena Higley is the headwriter. The popular drama consistently ranks among the top five in the key demographic of Women 18-49. "One Life to Live" airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (2:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Michael/Marcie, snoozefest! Give me Hugh/Marcie any day.

Nice to see Lifehouse. I know people hate guest singers and stuff coming on, but I love them
