Hey FS,have you turned your mouse over and taken it apart and blew it out? Sometimes a lot of dust and dirt collect in there. I had problems once and did that and now I have no problems! Just a suggestion,forgive me if you've tried it!

LOL, I understand your frustration. I had a troublesome mouse a few weeks ago. It wasn't the PC, it was the mouse. I upgraded to a laser one and it si fantastic. It was only $20 at Best Buy
