Good read, it's interesting to take a peek at back when soaps were still on top. In this era, 45 minute soaps sound like a good idea, the writers never have enough material to fill an hour anymore and resort to nonsense. Then again, if the writers can't handle an hour, 45 minutes might be a bigger flop.
