I think Layla decides to pull the plug and Evangeline *miraculously* starts breathing on her own. That way nothing really changes and Cris/Layla can skip back to the backburner until the next time Ron wants to play plot point theatre.

If Layla suppose to make an decision, about if she should take Eva off of life surpport. why would that be a secret? & what took them so long to take her off. Haven't it be been like three years. I just hope the secret isn't that she still loves Cris.

From what I can gather, the "secret" is the fact that Evangeline had/has a living will and that she entrusted Layla with the power to carry out her decisions. THat's going to cause friction between Layla and Lisa as they're on opposite sides of the issue.

How pathetic that the most meaningful interaction among the Williamson women (Layla, Lisa and Evangeline) happens:

• away from Llanview
  
• when Eva has been gone for years
  
• when Lisa is a day-role albeit played by a phenomenal actress and
  
• Evangeline's death would happen without any involvement from any of the people who cared about the character of Evangeline during her years on the show. Characters like Nora, Bo, Matthew, Kelly, Kevin, RJ, Hank, Antonio, Carlotta, Rachel,and yes...John and Todd.
  

If the show kills Evangeline, I won't be surprised. Frons' worldview doesn't allow for a character like Evangeline and he's made it clear that he's about Jolie even though from what I've seen, they're the new Jarty: boring, backburnered and barely relevant. If OLTL has decided to kill off Evangeline I say go ahead. It changes nothing.

I think killing Evangeline would be really dumb and I think Layla being responsible for such a decision is even dumber. Why wouldn't her parents have that responsibility? Why would Evangeline put her sister in such a position? I'm sure people don't always assume that these types of decisions will in fact have to be made by someone someday, but here we are. Is this how they're going to write Layla out or something? have her respect her sister's wishes and then be demonized by her family and her own conscious which drives her far far away? You know, just say that the girl woke up, she's rehabilitating, she's slowly regaining her speech and mobility, send Layla and Cris to MD to visit her, I don't care if she doesn't come back right away but come on now, you don't put a soap character in a coma for that damn long with no type of payoff. That stings too much of sad real life.

How can Jolie or people who are anti them like to call them Jokie. How can they be the new Jarty when Jolie start the whole trend of being boring & Barely relevant. I'll admit that they never was backburn, which they should have been.

I've been wondering the same thing.
