LOVING:

Trisha remembers her dream and the secret room in the Alden Mansion. As she probes the wall molding, a panel swings open to reveal a cobweb-filled room. If the room exists , so must the deed to Trucker's cabin, Trisha surmises. Inside, she and Trucker find a box and try in vain to open it.

BROTHER AND SISTER PAWNS:

Abril wonders why Rio left a good job in San Felipe. Dane learns that Rio is an illegal alien who has purchased false immigration papers. Hammond begins to construct a role for Rio to play in the upcoming destruction of the Alden family. Orchestrating Rio's first brush with the law, Dane then seemingly saves him from the cops. Afterward, Rio doesn't trust Dane or his offer to give him a job. He plans to accept Jack's offer at Tempest, which will allow him to use his skills as a chemist. Later, Dane fondles a medal of honor allegedly awarded to him for his involvement with the San Felipe freedom fighters.

Clay can't quite dismiss the memory of Abril and schemes to entice her away from Tempest. Hitting upon the idea of reviving IMAGE, he has Abril contacted for an appearence on the TV show.

REJECTION:

Ava brings Kate home from the hospital, only to find Alex playing with Sandy. Overcome by rejection, Ava demands that Alex leave- Egypt's new husband is not welcome in the Rescott home. Later, Kate discovers several huge hospital bills. Ava confesses that she let Kate's policy lapse, forcing her to take out a bank loan and borrow money from Louie. Her pride wounded, Kate contacts Louie about returning his money.

Stacey wants to know if Jack will marry her. Worried that she's using him as weapon against Rick, Jack turns her down. She also wants Rick to relinquish visitation rights and all custody claims to their daughter. He's furious, telling Stacey, "How could I repeat what my family did to me? Never!"

Returning to her seedy motel room, Gwyn's astonished to find that she's been evicted. After being turned away from a shelter for the homeless, Gwyn spends the night in an abandoned car.

Dane has Rio's Tempest ID and Keys secretly duplicated. Later, he spies the Alden limo pulling near Cabot's downtown apartment. Ava and Cabot enter for a powwow. Ordered by Cabot to befriend Dane, Ava wonders what will happen to Dane's money should he die before reconciling with Jack. Is Ava planning possible nuptials with Dane? It might be a perfect solution to Kate's money problems, Ava surmises.

A policeman yanks Gwyn out of the car, charging her with vagrancy. She convinces the cop to take her to a nearby bistro, where the maitre d' vouches that she's Gwyneth Alden. A compassionate waitress offers to help Gwyn get a job there. As Gwyn struggles with dishes, she's mortified when Clay enters-with Abril.

CUSTODY BATTLE:

Stacey fumes when she learns that rick is demanding custody rights. She explodes at jack when he takes Rick's side. Later, Stacey and Rick meet with their respective lawyers, trying to keep the proceedings out of court. She is totally distraught when generous visitation rights are awarded to Rick. She fears for Heather.

THE FUTURE OF TEMPEST:

Dane has his spy, Robert, infiltrate Tempest. His mission: to get the formula for the new Tempest product. While working late at the lab, Rio runs into Robert. A scuffle ensues and Robert gets away, but not before Rio grabs the forged security pass. When Rio confronts Dane, Hammond explains that all he's doing is trying to protect Jack. Meanwhile, Jack frets about the Tempest break-in, Knowing that he's only weeks away from getting patent protection for the new product. As a last resort, Jack calls Dane and confides in him. Thrilled that his son has finally reached out to him, Dane assures Jack he will protect the formula. Jack stresses that Dane has the future of Tempest in his hands.

Dane visits his grandson, J.J., who's playing with the Chinese puzzlebox that Trisha found in the secret. Suddenly, J.J. hists the hidden spring and the top flips open. Inside is a yellowed piece of paper. Dane slips it into his pocket.

FUTURE BLACKMAIL MATERIAL:

Robert sneaks into Cabot's apartment and attaches a miniature video camera to the ceiling sprinkler system. Later, by remote control, Robert triggers the sprinkler. Drenched, Cabot and Ava change into dry bathrobes. All of this is recorded.

After Abril lands a guest spot on the IMAGE pilot, Clay charms her. She's overwhelmed by the attentions of this handsome older man, who's doing everything to sweep her off her feet. To Abril, Clay has become not only a romantic hero, but also a personal mentor, who instructs her on the subtleties of high society.

Alex tells Egypt they are about to embark on a new life together. Gently kissing her, the thought of Ava flashes through Alex's mind. But masters is determined to forget his ex. Arriving home, they find Ava as the welcoming committee.

ONE LIFE TO LIVE:

Brenda realizes Michael wants more than friendship. Hoping to forget Dan, Brenda tells Michael she's ready to try a relationship with him. He kisses her passionately, but Brenda pulls back.

SARAH'S HIT-AND-RUN:

While Carlo is informing Michael about a new drug shipment, they see Sarah and fear she's overheard them. As Sarah gets into Bo's car, she believes she sees Austin, not Carlo's gunman, Scott, advancing toward her. In her panic, she puts the car in the wrong gear. The car lurches forward, running over Scott. Terrified, Sarah drives off. Later, Bo insists that she return to the scene of the accident, but there's no sign of a body. An anonymous call to the police reveals no report of a hit-and-run. Did she imagine the whole thing? Sarah wonders.

Meanwhile, Carlo finishes Scott off, dumping his body in an empty lot. Brenda comes upon Michael's limo. Peering inside, she sees Scott's bloody glove and pockets it. While Carlo hides, Michael tries to allay a nervous Brenda's fears and she pretends to buy his story of a flat tire. Later, Michael catches her with the glove and covers by telling her that it's his.

Roger steals a list of suspicious campaign contributors from Dorian. Meanwhile. hurt by Roger's betrayal, Viki lets Clint comfort her and they finally make love. Viki's trying, but she's not sure she can shake Roger. Later, Gordon sneaks into Lianfair and tells Clint about the list. Viki catches the two together. Roger offers her an excuse, but she kicks him out.

GABRIELLE'S NEW FRIEND:

Gabrielle tells a suspicious Tony about the mystical visit with the scarred recluse. Again, she visits her new friend and confesses to the bond she feels with him. As she takes Max to his own grave, Gabrielle breaks down, admitting that love doesn't matter anymore. Later, at Al's birthday party, Max sneaks in, but Tony catches him and assumes he's the recluse. Max runs off. Meanwhile, Gabrielle uses Al to get closer to Cord. Debra's hired to act on FRATERNITY ROW.And as Jake and Megan draw closer, he feels guiltier.

Gabrielle admits to the recluse that a life removed from everyone else but him appeals to her. Realizing her attitude is detrimental, Max rebuffs her. She begs him to stay, but Max forces himself to kick her out. Debra angrily confronts her sister about trying to steal Cord from her. After her blowup with Max, followed by the fight with Debra, Gabrielle takes off. Later, Max begs Jared to fix his face. With coaxing from Lily, Jared agrees to try. But will the operation endanger Max's life?

WINNING ISN'T EVERYTHING:

Roger spies a blueprint for waterfront development for the "Lianview Group." Clint learns it's a steamship company run by drug-runners. They realize Michael's against Viki because she's for building low income housing rather than expanding the port. Roger wants to clue Viki in and leaves her a letter. Furious that she's been deceived, Viki kicks Clint out.

Andy and Dean are dating, but he's just using her to forget Brenda. When Brenda tells Michael she's moving out of Grandeview, he insists, "I love you, Brenda," and follows that with a marriage proposal. Brenda hedges, rushing to Dan for advice. He has Brenda confess that she wants passion and they kiss. She returns to Michael to reject his offer. But as they toast to friendship, Michael drugs Brenda's drink.

FRIENDS OR LOVERS?:

Although Megan confides in Jake about the porno movie she once did, Jake reports back to Michael-no dirt on Megan. Suddenly, Burke shows up with nude calendar photos of Megan. Michael tries to reward Burke with Money; instead, she wants sex.

Grande complies. Meanwhile, Jake diverts Megan to a beach house so she'll miss the mayoral rally where Michael plans to expose her nude photos. He sabotages his jeep so they're forced to spend the night together. Although Jake and Megan have fun, she fights her attraction to him. Later, Megan's mortified to see an article about her nude photos in the tabloid. Determined to stand up to Michael, Jake forcefully quits Grande's employ. Before leaving town, Jake tells Megan good-bye, while Michael plans Jake's demise. But after overhearing Megan and Andy commiserating over him, Jake tells them, "I'm staying in Lianview, even if it kills me."

BO'S ARRESTED:

Scott's body is found in the mob dumping ground. The autopsy reveals signs of a hit-and-run. After learning about the John Doe in the news, Bo questions Rafe. When Rafe mentions a white ostrich glove, Sarah remembers the gloves, holding a gun. Meanwhile, Carlo anonymously calls the police, giving the car's license-plate number. But the car belongs to Bo. Taking the rap for Sarah, Bo's arrested by Rafe for vehicular manslaughter. Sarah's ill with the thought that she killed a man. Carlo has an "eyewitness" call Sarah, insisting that she, not Bo, is guilty. Later, the alleged eyewitness confronts Sarah with the bloody glove.

SANTA BARBARA:

Eden realizes she and Jane, the drug dealer, are part of a stake-out. They make a run for it. Later, Cruz's informant, Rob, identifies Eden as the woman who met with Jane. Searching Eden's office, Cruz finds the stashed Ice. When Cruz confronts his wife, she admits her plan to use Jane to get to the real dealers. Although Eden calls Jane to set up another buy, Cruz refuses to let her go on the bust. Still, Jane's a no-show.

A DANGEROUS SECRET?:

Stephen, Derek and Hunt wonder if Ethan's accident was really an accident or if they're next. After Ethan regains consciousness, Hunt asks him if he knows who would have wanted him dead. Later, Hunt tells Derek that Sasha has disappeared and he suspects Mason and Julia are involved. The three unlikely cohorts all have memories of cave-in and a girl screaming. Each visit the tunnel and lay roses on the site.

UNDERCOVER ASSIGNMENT:

Laura spies on Mason and Julia as they put the cryonics tune containing Sasha's body into Mason's empty tomb in the Capwell crypt. All clues point to a woman as Sasha's murderer, and that she was killed in Ethan's office, the Capwell duo learns. Looking for clues, Mason catches Laura in Ethan's office. He finds a missing button, unaware that it's hers. Since there was a recent attempt made on Ethan's life, Mason and Julia surmise the killer may have been after Ethan and mistakenly killed Sasha's crypt. Later, Laura watches as Julia and Mason discover that Sasha's body is gone.

ICE OR YOUR LIFE:

Michael pulls Nikki into a kiss, but she pulls away, warning him to never do it again. He tells her whatever there is between her and Marcos isn't love. Latter, Nikki tells Marcos she has to make sure her brother is all right. She briefly reunites with her handcuffed brother, Amado, on an oil rig. From there, Nikki delivers the shipment of Ice to Marcos and overhears him furiously warning Jane about dealing with Eden. Later, Cruz, Eden, Michael and Nikki find Jane's dead body.

The coroner proclaims Jane's death was by lethal injection of Ice. Eden feels responsible. Later, Marcos injects Eden with a lethal does of Ice. Cruz finds Eden and rushes her to the hospital where she struggle to survive. While Eden's in critical condition, Cruz and the Capwells fear they may lose her. Even Kelly, remembering all the times she and Eden argued, begs her sister to recover. Slightly watching Kelly, Derek's touched by her plea. Eventually, Eden regains consciousness, and Cruz and Michael plan to sneak her out of the hospital. An announcement will follow, claiming Eden's recovered and can identify her assailant. Then, they'll wait for the attacker to show up. Cruz has Eden fly out of the Country until it's safe for her to return.

BACK FROM THE DEAD?:

Mason prevents Julia from confessing to her involvement in Sasha's disappearance. But Julia's falling apart from the guilt and stress. She dreams Sasha has come back to life and is melting before her. Julia wakes, but doesn't see the silver of ice melting away. Dante informs Mason and Julia that he found one set of prints on the empty cryonics tube- Sasha's. He also found fingernail scratches on the inside. Sasha didn't let herself out of the tube; they surmise the killer's trying to drive them crazy. Hunt tells them Sasha never arrived in San Fransisco. Later, Julia sees someone outside in the fog. Was it just her imagination?

BRANDON THE BREAD WINNER:

Brandon asks C.C. and Sophia for a job. They arrange for him to work with Stephan on the film. He'll be able to help his mother with the bills now, Brandon tells Gina. Later, Augusta offers to buy Gina's designs, but Gina is outraged at the measly price offered. Mack convinces Gina not to think of herself for once, but of Brandon. During the deal, Mack plays mediator and Augusta finds herself somewhat attracted to him. Gina accepts the offer, then is forced to agree to supply Augusta with designs until her four-million-dollar debt is paid. Brandon encourages Gina to start her own line of home-sewn fashions.

Sophia tells C.C. she's worried about Stephan's deteriorating attitude. Even Derek has noticed Stephen's strange behavior. But Slade vows to himself to tell the story that was sworn to secrecy.

Planning to poison Ethan, Laura puts crushed oleander leaves into his tea tin.

MURDER, MARCOS WROTE:

Marcos orders Nikki to keep him updated on Eden's condition. But when Marcos hears the phony news report announcing Eden's recovery, he's furious Nikki didn't tell him herself.Disguised, Marcos sneaks into Eden's room, just before Kelly enters. Marco shoots at "Eden", but it's a mannequin. Kelly escapes. Although Nikki saves Marcos from being caught, he accuses her of betraying him. Nikki gives Cruz a false description of Marcos, unaware Kelly had seen him. Later, Marcos puts a knife to Nikki's throat. He tells her she's been nothing but trouble to him....

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS:

Victor plants seeds of doubt in Nikki's mind regarding her impromptu marriage. Worried, Nikki quizzes her groom on his true motives for rushing her to the altar. Jack insists he married the former Mrs. Newman out of love for her, not hatred for Victor. Newman backs off when he learns that Nikki and Jack consummated their marriage- that means there's no chance of an annulment.

WILL NAN PLAY MOMMY?:

At the legal clinic, Nan seeks Cricket's advice regarding Skylar's adoption. Cricket believes Nan has rights where the baby is concerned, and promises to check out the legalities with Mr. Silva.

ICE ESCAPADES:

Adrian's plan to murder Cassie is all set. He's satisfied that once the dry ice, on which his gun's hair trigger rests, melts, all the evidence will evaporate. It will appear that his despondent bride committed suicide. To ensure privacy, Hunter fires Cassie's "servants" Nathan and Salena.

Cassie observes Adrian staging a walk-through of the impending murder. Later, she hears him banging around in the basement. Some snooping reveals blocks of dry ice and an ice chest. Neither she nor Paul can account for the strange parcels. Meanwhile, Adrian slips Ted, the owner of a sleazy modeling agency, two thousand dollars to find a Cassie look-alike.

ESTHER GIVES UP:

Overhearing Morey and Lil discuss the Sterling's divorce, Esther loses hope. Kay thinks this turn of events may convince Rex that something is amiss, and blow the kidnapping scheme wide open.

DAVID GOES TOO FAR:

Michael tells Jill about David's recent threat to Cricket. Her grandson would be in jeopardy if Nina marries this psycho, Crawford advises Jill. Concerned, Jill gives David his walking papers and a one-way ticket to Los Angeles.

David begs Nina to fly off with him and elope that night. Nina objects- she has her heart set on a big, splashy wedding. Eloping isn't for her, she tells a frustrated David.

When Jack arrives with his baggage, Nikki banishes him to the guest room. Annoyed with his antics, Nikki makes it clear to Jack that she is not yet committed to this marriage. If she decides to continue with the union, she'll need time to prepare Victoria. Accustomed to sweeping women off their feet, Jack turns on the charm with Victoria. It doesn't work.

BODY DOUBLE:

Adrian Passes off Deidre, the Cassie look-alike, as the new maid. Next, Adrian cuts the phone lines and drugs Cassie. He leaves her propped up in a chair with the loaded gun pointed at her temple. Cassie sits paralyzed in her execution seat. Unable to move a muscle because of the drug, but in control of her mental faculties, Cassie waits for the dry ice to melt, setting off the hair trigger on the gun. Meanwhile, Adrian and Deidre, disguised as Cassie, lead Carl and Salena on a wild-goose chase.

CATCHING ON:

While Adrian keeps a scheduled appointment with Paul, Carl and Salena watch the beauty shop where Cassie's double was dropped off. The detectives realize they've been duped- the woman they have under surveillance isn't wearing Cassie's high-frequency ankle bracelet.

About the time that Carl and Salena realize that Cassie is still at the house, Victor discovers that her phone line has been cut.

HIS ALIBI:

Adrian asks for Paul's assistance in clearing Cassie's name, then invites Cassie's former lover to dinner. While he's still in Paul's office, Adrian's watch alarm goes off. Adrian makes a point of noting the time, to relive him of culpability in his wife's death.

CLOSE, BUT NO CIGAR:

Victor ruses into the Rawlins house and yanks Cassie from the line of fire seconds before the gun discharges. Adrian arrives home later, ready to notify the police of his wife's suicide. he notices a glimmer of life in the blood-soaked woman. Panicking, he empties the gun into his wife.

After Adrian unloads his gun, the gang emerges from the shadows. Cassie rises hatred in her eyes. Carl and Salena read Adrian his rights and cuff him. Adrian was set up- his victim was drenched in stage blood, and his bullets were blanks.

NINA FEELS LIKE A CHUMP:

Nina is humiliated when she learns Chase has been entertaining her just to keep her away from David. Cricket insists Chase has become smitten in the process, but Nina is sick of being toyed with. She allowed Chase into her heart twice, Nina reproaches herself, and got hurt twice.

HI, MOM!:

Marge is proud of herself- she's managed to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. But her smugness wanes when Kay's son Brock returns home. Marge is suddenly shaking under her baseball cap.

Again, sorry for taking so long with these, But it's always time consuming to copy everything down from the magazine. Fortunately i am finally done with school, so i will be less busy, and hopefully post more of these quicker!

P.S

I just have to say i commend Bill Bell for writing a May sweeps type story, with the whole Adrian/Cassie Gun in the ice block storyline, in April. This totally disproves MAB'S theory that April in soaps is usually not that exciting... :rolleyes:
