People, people, it's all by design! Don't you see?

They could have had 0 appearances, but MAB's building up the black storylines, so there you go!

Next on her list, Malcolm opens "Malcolm's Sandwiches" and it is the grounds for a society-changing social storyline!!!!

It's gonna be a ratings winner!

Malcolm will agonize over which one but will eventually come to the conclusion that "you have to mix them up" and that they're both good.

But he'll still use one more than the other, even when mixing.

I can see it now--Neil will smite her for her audaciousness and vulgarity and Faux Dru will decide to go work at Malcolm's to learn how to be humble.

It's going to be difficult.

At some point, Nikki will barge in, demanding a 10-footer for lunch and drama ensues!

But wait until La Zimmer arrives.

Gosh, i didn't think Tracey Bregman would be leading the pact this month! You know as much as i love her, i'm sorry this is just a terrible storyline for her to be front and center in! I mean its bad enough that i kinda agree with what some people are saying, that Lauren acting like Sarah, is just the Bitch Lauren from back in the day, and though she is a good actress, she does nothing to distinguish herself between the two. its like There's Lauren!, and Oh theres Lauren lying helpless in a zoo.know what i mean?... and also if she is going to be on this much, i don't see why she can't just be back on contract, when you have other Y&R vets like Nina and Olivia who are (who are also great actresses) that are on recurring, and go for months until we see them. (even though that has to do with them having other commitments, or in Tricia Cast's case, too far to travel.)

I don't get the big deal about her being on contract. Does anyone really believe she won't be backburned after this story is over and which looks to be wrapping up next week? They pay her when they play her and when they don't use her they don't have to pay her. She also takes a hit if they decide to not use her much like they did last year where she disappeared for weeks at a time and was written out two months last June and July and was used sparingly for most of the year. Tracey has worked this way for nearly ten years now.

I am glad she is finally getting airtime, but I just wish they would have done anything but another Sheila tormenting Lauren redo. They could have done so much with her and they choose a second doppelganger. Whose brain child was this?

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!
