SINGER Paulini Curuenavuli has recorded an extraordinary single about her fiery relationship with former boyfriend, NRL star Wes Naiqama.

The lyrics detail the alleged abuse Curuenavuli claims she suffered during her tempestuous one-year relationship with Naiqama, including allegations he trashed her hotel room, harassed her with phone calls and poured a drink over her head.

Until now, Curuenavuli has refused to speak about her former flame, who she began dating in 2006.

But she says she recorded Scarless to help victims of domestic violence.

The single will be released to coincide with White Ribbon Day on November 25, a campaign to eliminate violence against women.

"I've never spoken about it, just because really when it first happened ... I just wanted to go into a hotel room and hide away," the former Australian Idol and Young Divas singer, 27, said.

"If you read the lyrics, you will know exactly what the song is about and how hard it was for me."

Curuenavuli's concerned parents lodged a formal complaint with the Dragons management after reports Naigama had abused her in public on several occasions.

It's not only men that abuse women, as there are women out there that abuse men as well. And not forgetting the children either.

Yay, but will have to keep up with the game on line as I will be at work.

Dallas are my #1 team, and the Eagles my #2. Their punter used to play for my Aussie rules team.
