Members JAS0N47
As "Days of Our Lives" celebrates its 44th anniversary this week, take a few moments and look back at its history and early beginnings at Jason47's Days Website. Read the first week of scripts, listen to the original theme song (before Macdonald Carey's voice was used), read early "Days" interviews from 1966 with series stars Macdonald Carey and Frances Reid, see pictures of all the cast from 1965, read a tribute to series co-creator Ted Corday (including what his signature looked like), and see scans of the pilot episode's script cover, rehearsal schedule, cast call sheet, and the first-ever "Days" scene. Plus, in a special tribute, see what Jason47's site would have looked like back on November 8, 1965. Members Michael
I love the "Days in 1965" mini-site, Jason! Especially the little touches like how Mallory and Parker, despite having missed out on the role of Bill, might wind up in Salem someday. Very fun! Members quartermainefan
Great tribute. I liked the special 2004 theme arrangement with the big flourish at the end (the Melaswen theme). I think it was actually an improvement on an already classic theme.
