If they did NOT want to write for her it makes NO sense to go after Gina Tognoni for the role.

When she first joined, she said viewers should expect a much different Victoria with her, because she can't deliver what Heather Tom delivered.

After several call backs later, she got the part and Genoa City will have Victoria Newman back in town. So what does she plan to bring to the role? "I'd say it's going to be night and day. Sounds to me she was never very confident playing this role and knew she wasn't the right fit for it. I mean, what actress admits that she would be OK with her predecessor coming back to the role she's currently employed in?
