I have that mag. It is about Crystal Hunt (Lizzie) spreading the news at the studio on Dec 7 that she was leaving the show to go to LA and pursue other projects. GL confirmed her exit and said they will recast the character.

The article mentions how low morale is at GL with all the recent exits of many actors (Ross, Cassie, Danny, Michelle, Bill, Lizzie)

It goes on to say that GL would not let Crystal Chappell out of her contract to pursue a OLTL role, and now Beth Chamberlain (who is recurring) is shopping herself around and may be up for the role Crystal wanted.

That's about it.

Yes go to all the saftey at all the other shows. Days and Passions which are in cancellation troubles with a network that does not care about soaps. OLTL which cuts and degrades its older well known characters. ALl soaps are going through or will be going through changes and turmoils. If the actors do not want to admit it or see it, then their loss.

OLTL is in a hell of a lot better shape than GL at the moment, for a variety of reasons. Just job security alone. GL is at death's door. If I had the choice of working at a P&G soap or an ABC soap, I'd choose ABC, no question.

Beyond the fact that ABC pays more, and has for a long time.
