Members jjjg
Sharon's gonna sacrifice her happiness with Nick for someone else. Either her rude child or summer.
Members MarkH
Toile, at another board, who is usually right, offers these scoops. I believe English is not his native language, and he types in all-caps. But he is the one, for example, who indicated well before all others that Colleen would be on the Newman board. So, treat these as spumours but they have "real-feel" to me.
Members dm.
Kay has a stroke? Really? This is really stupid, don't mess with her health so soon after she finally learned she had Lyme disease. Know when to stop! Everything else seems okay in a way, minus the neglecting of other characters and Mac & Billy.
Members Y&RWorldTurner
^Meh and , if any of that is true what Mark's posted as spumours.
Members MarkH
I agree. Let's see if these are true. Several of them shock me, though.
Members dm.
This art storyline needs to end like yesterday. I can't believe it will be all summer long.
Members Sylph
 This is nearing Lynn Latham 2.0, disease-of-the week kind of storytelling... Peanuts and strokes... Dear Lord...
Members MarkH
Well, Kay having a stroke could work for me. If P3 is alive, and she doesn't know it...well her last stroke was also due to a big shock. Indeed, I was disturbed during the memory-loss tale that they never addressed her stroke history. When she had that MRI/CAT scan done, the doctor should have said "Actually, it see evidence that you had a previous stroke". They ignored that for the silly Lyme Disease explanation. I don't want a stroke...but that one is not coming out of left field for me. Peanuts...that is...interesting (I cannot lie...I find it interesting...I don't recall seeing that on daytime before...it is an interesting way to do a little PSA about peanut allergies AND create freaky drama)...but shocking. Let's see. This could all be spumour.
Members Sylph
Look at how many crapfests are in these spoilers: DNA results (!!!), an arrest, a stroke, betrayal, life-changing sacrifices...
Members dm.
Exactly, they reached the point where they were left without their golden storylines that lasted a few months and now the only thing left is plot-plot-plot. They don't have much organic left. Some of it works, but most doesn't. What happened to people of GC just spending a few episodes talking and having that affect them? Members Y&RWorldTurner
That's the OLD Y&R dear, the show sold its soul to the devil so that it could be more "contemporary."
Members dm.
All it took was a Bell last name to make it work..... art is going to kill the show eventually. Maybe we need a promising young writer like AMC's Kate Hall to takeover or someone similar. Someone that doesn't have any fetish... I'm sure that if Y&R had 15/22 episodes a month with people talking, thousands of teenage girls and boys would be bored with the show and want it canceled. Members Sylph
The thing is that this could work, you know, all overused soap staples, but with these hacks at the helm... Nope.
Members MarkH
Remember early 2008. This is a fear-motivated response. Scratch that...it is a success-motivated response. Why? Because "events" (like Sudden Impact) spiked the ratings. Like they do everywhere (e.g., GH). That is addicting to these shows, and the converse (winter/spring 2008) is terrifying. I do not anticipate anything BUT this kind of stuff from now on.
