She's coming back to DAYS as a stronger actress and an Emmy winner. Dare, I say, now that she's coming back, she'll be by far the strongest actress on DAYS that will receive frontburner material.

Without a doubt she will be the strongest actress on days, esp of front burner material. Her and Suzanne Rogers are the best Days has to offer and they would be syupid not to feature CC as much as they can. Hopefully it all works because days needs another leading lady besides Sami/Ali and as much as i love her, Ari isnt leading material. Neither is Nicole. and Nadia? Well, shes a joke.

And for story, aside from a triangle with bo/hope i wonder if they will test the waters with victor/carly? Because aside from PR, JA, and perhaps SC... CC would eat any man days has to offer alive.

Victor and Carly together would not be something I'd care to see other than it would guarantee more of John Aniston on my screen. I just don't buy him being in love with anyone but Caroline or Kate and I wouldn't be buying Carly winding up with Victor after all these years. Maybe if Carly had some hidden agenda at work as part of giving Carly this edge you guys are talking about it could be good.

I think one of the things that is so exciting about this return to me is that it's a big name and a character a lot of us have positive memories of yet because she wasn't on the show that long and because she has so few ties to the canvas if the show wanted to it could really go in any number of directions. I mean we don't even know for sure yet if she will be coming back as Carly Manning or Katerina Von Leuschner or even a whole new character (my biggest fear is that Dr. Dan won't be shipped off with Chloe any time soon and Carly will wind up being Dan's thought-dead wife Rebecca... Dan + Carly = Do.Not.Want! Do.Not.Want!) If she is back as Carly we get the first Hope-Carly showdown for Bo's heart. Obviously they can't rush it and would need to build it up over time, but if done well it could be awesome. (Of course if they just write her as Billie Part II it'll be a disaster). It also opens up the possibility of other blasts from the pasts in the Alamain family.

And if they want to give Carly or CC a test with some other actors to see where things shake out, I would be down. I don't think it's necessarily PR or JA (or SC) or bust for her.

CC is a fox so if she split up with Lawrence off screen I could see Carly and Brady having a little May-December action. Brady and Arianna just don't do anything for me at all and I'd love to see Victor's freakout at having another ex-wife steal the heart of his grandson and EM is just so hot I have no problem at all with another woman after him. And hell, the show could even test her with Lucas or EJ since the expiration dates on their respective marriages will surely be up by the time CC joins the cast. If she was with Lucas it could set up a fun Carly-Kate rivalry (sorry, but Lucas only exists for me now to produce rivalries between his mother and his wives and the Chloe-Kate feud is weak as hell while the well is dry for Sami-Kate) with an extra fun added wrinkle if Kate's ex Nicholas Alamain was to come back. With EJ, were he to get involved with Carly as a rebound from the Nicole-Sami mess you would have Bo in protective mode trying to warn her off the DiMeras and causing realistic tensions in Bope's marriage as Hope would likely want Bo just to stay out of it and then you might even be able to set up a fun DiMera-Alamain feud with a Lawrence return and him pissed at his quasi-uncle's son romancing his ex-wife and on the outside ready to turn this DiMera-Kiriakis feud on its head.

too bad that Patch and Kayla left or are still in salem maybe they will pop back up? especially if Lawrence returns they can explain how he was involoved with Patch's death then all of a sudden it was Stefano.

Haven't posted on here in ages, but this is fantastic news..I'm so excited for this return and i hope this puts Bo and Hope back on the frontburner where they belong..

For me, the only downside is this might mean more Hope.

I really want her to be the next vet written out, lol. Bo deserves better.
