November 26, 200817 yr Member Erika Slezak is AMAZING! I teared up when she cried "why did you choose me?"
November 26, 200817 yr Member Erika is truly amazing, the woman is giving me goose bumps. This is some very powerful stuff here.
November 26, 200817 yr Member Jessica and Brody Erika Slezak is knocking it out of the park in these scenes today. She totally secured her Emmy nomination next year, if not the win.
November 26, 200817 yr Member Am I the only one that likes Sarah, and Justis Bolding's portraying her?
November 26, 200817 yr Member Am I the only one that likes Sarah, and Justis Bolding's portraying her? Nope.
November 26, 200817 yr Member Aww, the Bonjour Cafe is now in Llanview. Mo and Noelle can't be far behind.
November 26, 200817 yr Author Administrator Wow! Now that's romance! Viki/Charlie remains one of my favorite current couples in daytime.
November 26, 200817 yr Member Those Sarah/Christian scenes were weak. It just shows what nonentities these two characters are. Erika Slezak was amazing today, and will most likely secure a nom, but hopefully not another win (sorry I'm holding out for MTS yet again, who has been phenomenal all year long).
November 26, 200817 yr Member I agree that Cristian and Sarah's fighting scenes did come off as weak. I think it had a lot to do with the writing. These scenes called for some actual emotions, and neither actor can truly emote those emotions in their performance. I'm a Cristian and Sarah fan, but I became a fan of theirs because they were simple characters in a simple relationship. I felt like they were a real couple.
November 26, 200817 yr Author Administrator Jessica and Brody Did you see the Jessica's smile at the dinner table. Erika Slezak is knocking it out of the park in these scenes today. She totally secured her Emmy nomination next year, if not the win. Yup, this is definitely her Emmy reel. I'm not calling a win just yet though. Am I the only one that likes Sarah, and Justis Bolding's portraying her? I like her too. But I think Sarah/Cris are boring.
November 26, 200817 yr Member I just adore Viki and Charlie, and that was just the most romantic gesture, just what Viki needed. Huh, I thought that JB really nailed those jealousy/hurt scenes, can't say the same for DF though. And I do believe I could actually get behind a Jess/Brody pairing, Jessica didn't get on my nerves at all today, and that hasn't happened in a LONG time.
November 26, 200817 yr Member Did you see the Jessica's smile at the dinner table. Oh yes! I've been waiting for these scenes for months. I just knew they were going to go here.
November 26, 200817 yr Member Viki/Charlie are my favorite couple on the show and today showed why. I absolutely loved the ending, it was so beautiful. OLTL does something right that none of the other soaps do: create nice, gentlemanly men. Rex is a prince (well, he is NOW at least), Charlie wrote the book on chivalry, John's a brooding hero but would never disrespect a woman, Michael's gentle... the weak links are the loser Vega brothers, but we'll let that slide since they never have stories. I am intrigued to see where they take Jessica and Brody. I wasn't 100% sold on their scenes today but I was expecting a lot. I don't like how Jessica is such a know-it-all at St. Ann's, it's contrived. I've seen how people really are at psychiatric hospitals; even the "wise" ones aren't walking around like they've got it covered unless they've got a personality disorder - and I don't mean DID.
