The countdown to the #1 couple in daytime soap operas has begun. The initial voting is over. We are still breaking some ties which will go on until Monday with 1 or 2 threads closing each day.

Bugging anyone- nonsense! I'm really enjoying viewing these! It's already bringing back great memories! Preacher Emerson was one of Soaps best ever heroes! A little sad about Karen/Marco not being there but I guess some people may not consider them a couple still the Karen hooker storyline in my opinion is one of the best ever daytime storylines, right up there with Roger Thorpe.

Oh I agree with you about Marco. I totally loved him and the hooker storyline is one of my faves of all time too. And I agree that some might not consider Marco & Karen a couple but hey Zach & Myrtle made the Top 300 couples so some did vote for friends.

I'm thoroughly enjoying reading through these...and where are you getting all the great photos of the older couples?? Eugene and Calliope...ahh..I miss them. So many wonderful couples!! Thanks Steve!

Most of them are scans from old magazines or books that I have.

I am hoping one day to get them all online. I am just doing a little bit at a time and putting it all on the site. Right now I am just trying to get info out there and hopefully in the coming months start to get the pictures out there.

Wow, what a great list so far...

Barnabas and Josette.....I remember those days. I had to sneak and watch Dark Shadows because my parents thought it would give me nightmares. LOL...but it didn't. I never could decide if I like Barnabas or Quentin better though.
