Well remember, SMG had that last scene with Erica before she left town with Del. Through tears she said, "My mother forgives me..." There was some closure there. No, she wasn't suddenly perfect and totally redeemed, but there was no reason for Kendall to return with bad blood. AM's first scene where Erica slaps her, remember that was orchestrated by Erica. It was all a ruse. And yeah, Kendall was still vixenish, but she was hardly the conniver that she was first go round.

Wendy Moniz played Dinah on GL before GT. This was fresh from Europe Dinah who smoked and had a torrid affair with Roger.

I kind of agree there, that relationship was best served when they tolerated each other at best. I have long hoped for the mother-daughter rivalry to be revisited......

As much as Erica "loves" Kendall, I've never bought it as unconditional. It would be quite interesting to see if Erica took Bianca's side on what is sure to become a war between Kinks.

SMG lost whatver she had, IMHO, around buffy season 4. She just stopped trying, and not just in buffy. In everything.

I don't agree. I think she delivered very strong scenes in season five where her mom had to battle her brain cancer. That one scene where she finds her mother dead on the couch and says "mommy" still gives me chills. Gellar was a fierce actress in the Buffy series. I think her peak acting years were during that television show especially in seasons one, two, three, five and six. She was an amazing actress I think the only WB actress who even could compare to her was Keri Russel with her amazing portrayal of Felicity Porter. Very talented woman, it's not easy to sell realism in all that camp.

The true megasuperstar of that show will forever be Cordelia Chase. Magnificence.
