date: Friday, May 9 | Gregori J. Martin, Cheryl L. Davis | Phideaux Xavier I am loving the character of June. The swap-off of Anita and Vernon is nice. They are a very in-sync couple and seem to do well at teaming up. That's amazing. I appreciate the more level-headed conversation between Bill and Dani; it's a nice change of pacing for them. Deadbeat's attitude needs to be adjusted ASAP. I don't trust him one iota. At all. Bradley deserves better than an abusive husband. As do the children. I love that June is firm in her convictions and her stances; she won't allow anyone to penetrate them. I can tell she has a rich history in her life and hope we get to explore it. Just what Theodore needs, Andre, is alcohol. Ugh. Why not leave him alone with the consequences of his actions? Just like with Eva, Katherine is calling out the truth: Bradley is a better husband than Deadbeat deserves and is just as much a part of the Dupre family as anyone else is! Derek, you do not need a bigger apartment; what you need is to get rid of that ugly-ass chair you named and move back into your own place. Deadbeat, what do you think huffing and puffing with former Daddy is going to do? Eva is right. Disappointing. My heart genuinely hurts for her. Nicole asserting herself with Andre knowing of the affair and not telling her? Oh, that's going to cut! Oh, are we about to get Bill versus Bradley right now?! This could be a juicy-ahh showdown that I am completely here for. Wait, so Bill requested Bradley's presence? What is up his sleeve? Not Miss Dana showing up at the final hour! This is going to be a showdown. I know it is! Notes: The new hairstyle on Arielle Preptit (Naomi) is very cute. The hotel suite is a very nice, sleek design. Almost reminds me of the Country Club's rooms from the first week. It's nice seeing a different-looking hotel type of design from what other soaps continue to show us. The food at Orphey Gene's and Uptown continues to look undeniably delicious; I'd be more inclined to eat at the former, but I'd happily visit both establishments.
    • Ohh - those previews!  I can't believe Leslie - what a mean mother. I still love the character, but she's now just a full-fledged villain at this point haha.
    • Not bad for what was supposed to be a middle of the week episode due to the preemptions lol Nice cliffhangers
    • Ugh - I hate that they have to give Dani a big showcase in every story. Girl, sit your ass down when you know you’d go back to Bill in a heartbeat if he ever gave you the time and day.
    • Ohh, Kat is mad!  She's going to tear into Thomas for that. There's Vanessa, finally, showing up for her friend. Ohhhh Dani is going to rip Ted a new one - this I can't wait to see haha. Not Leslie showing up at Nicole's house - omg!   Ugh, can't wait for Monday!!!

    • Don't make me like Tomas with Eva.
    • Replacing Ashley and Derek with Tide and Febreeze bottles would be 100% totally acceptable to me.
