So i watched them on youtube and i kinda like them. i think VB & DD have really good easy natural chem. I also lvoe how unexpected this couple is - and thats what i love about Y&R. They mix everything up and try things out. Also, i think that Vail Bloom has really started to become a good actress. Now thats shes not playing the ADA, but instead legal at jbot she works mucyh better and the char seems to be much more laid back and easy going insted of so poise and perfect. Id still lvoe to have Lindsey McKeon in the role as rumors said, but she is getting better. Also... am i the only nikki/paul fan? i love that friendship. Members dm. Posted May 2, 2008 Members Share Posted May 2, 2008 I like Brad and Heather. Brad is the kind of guy everyone hates and seeing where things could go with Heather would be interesting. I always thought of Heather as an interesting character, but we didn't get much of her in 2008. I'd give anything to see more of Brad, Heather, Paul, Colleen, Adrian... those characters are quite interesting, but way too underused. And yes, I like Nikki and Paul together. The May 2 episode was interesting... Paul talking to Nikki and Lauren... It's nice to have at least one episode separate from all the Newman/Sabrina/Vikki drama. Members JackPeyton Posted May 2, 2008 Author Members Share Posted May 2, 2008 may 2nd? is that today? i do think that heather is intersting and i would like to see more of her. i also love that it can tocuh upon the brad and paul history. this is what i love about Y&R - the unexpected. on a show like gh you would never think a couple like that could actuall happen. were they not trying a daniel/heather thing? did that not work? i also am starting to like cane and lilly but would prefer him with chloe. He always made her smile and their scenes were great, but they dropped that. I believe they didn't have a scene together ever since that money burning episode (when Amber begged Daniel not to say anything to Heather). Seriously, though, every time Vail comes on screen, I get pissed because I feel like the writers should concentrate on their stronger characters. Because i honestly am intersted in heather and want to know more about her. maybe its just because i cant stand CKilly and SurSUCKeen. lol. i do wish we had Liz Hindrickson in a better role and a role they planned to do something more with tho, because shes amazing. But that's probably because she doesn't have any familial connections with anyone on the show... unlike just about EVERYONE ON Y&R these days. With the success of this Fresh Face campaign, she may be able to set up some roots, though, and be more than just a thorn on Lily's side. Hopefully the writers will give Lily more backbone (despite Christel's shortcomings) and a good rivalry will brew. About Vail, generally when characters are set up really badly, I don't want to know anything about them. At all. So, unless the writers actually give her something meaty, I still want her out of town. That was so odd how they set her up to leave for like 3 episodes and yet they kept her anyway. She just.. i mean... theres no point other than they have an amazing actress in the role to keep her around. And to be honest so many olther char's need wotj and atorylines i wont be upset when she goes. it just pains me to lose a great under 30 actress when the show has none. Heather i agree with too. I just wish they would explore her and paul more and i think using brad would be a great way to do it. daddy issues and all. i also have seen growth in Vail, unlike the other young actress on the show and i think thats why i now want more despie the bad role. it was odd how they set her up to leave town. thats was around the time of the Lindsey McKeon rumors started.. then nothing. Now that Chleo might be making a move on Cane. CKLily storyline is going to be woe is me I just lost your baby Cane & now woe is me I got to deal with Chleo showing what a real woman is made of. & she going ot coward in a corner somewhere like she let Amber & Daniel get away with that porn stuff.
