I can't say because I just started watching Countdown this month. I've seen him sporadically on politics before this and I listened to him and Dan Patrick when he did an hour on DP's show on ESPN Radio before DP quit.

I agree with Keith except for the "not an I'm sorry remark" because she did apologize. As much as I like Hillary, she was out of line to say what she did and Keith was right to call her out on it.

She apologized, it is done, she takes it back, she is human and made a mistake. Time to move on from this

The regret goes:

"I was discussing the Democratic primary history and in the course of that discussion mentioned the campaigns of both my husband and Senator (Robert) Kennedy waged in California in June in 1992 and 1968 and I was referencing those to make the point that we have had nomination primary contests that go into June. That's a historic fact," she said.

"The Kennedys have been much on my mind the last days because of Senator Kennedy," she added, referring to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy's recent diagnosis of a brain tumor. "I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation and in particular the Kennedy family was in any way offensive. I certainly had no intention of that whatsoever.

"My view is that we have to look to the past to our leaders who have inspired us, give us a lot to live up to, and I'm honored to hold Senator Kennedy's seat in the United States Senate from the state of New York and have the highest regard for the Kennedy family," she said.

An apology to me is when you say sorry without placing conditions on it. This is tepid at best because it says IF I was offensive I regret it. There's not question that this was offensive in more than one way. Besides the fact that she's trying to sound as if she only brought this up because Ted Kennedy had the misfortune of being diagnosed with a tumor and is on her mind. Oh Please, not when she's mentioned it dating back to March using the word and a couple of times after that without using the word. And certainly not when she referenced JFK's assassination before as well when specifically speaking of Obama.

Exactly. When people said "IF I offended anyone," you know damn well they did (and I'm guilty of it), however it's called placating. We all do it. It's insincere.

I did not see her placing conditions on it...just saying if she offended anyone that she is sorry. She did not mean for it to be offensive so that is why it went, "If I offended anyone"...she did not intend to offend anyone. Some apologies have "I offended..." because that person intended to offend. She did not

Apology is accepted. Now we should move on from this and get back to campaigning against McCain

I remember reading comments on CNN a few weeks ago on the topic of HC for VP and some of them suggested that Obama might need a food taster so today that takes on new meaning for them.

On top of the fact that she sure was regretful when she said it two months ago.

She did it then and the press missed it. Probably too busy talking about this VP business.

Now......she "regrets" it. Not to me. She is sorry she said it (for the second time).......

She's sorry she got CAUGHT saying it, and it is now a big deal.

It is not a big deal to me...we all say things that we regret. She is human and made a mistake. Time to move on and get back to the campaign
