I'm not done going through all the posts yet but I would like to know when any MI or FL Democrats threatened to vote Republican if they don't have delegates seated?

That is pretty much common knowledge as to what will happen...I saw a petition where a lot of MI and FL people said they will go that route

Well it's not common knowledge to me nor have I heard it being reported yet. I find it hard to believe that the majority of Democrats in either state will go that route or will threaten to do so and how come they don't have enough people in their own states to push a petition since it only concerns their states and other voters should have no input?

This is my entire problem with Michigan and Florida......the candidates knew they weren't going to be given any delegates from those states b/c of the sanctions for moving their primaries up. They know this and still agreed to the rules. Now she feels they should be seated. Yet a few months ago it didn't matter. I'm tired of her trying to change the rules.

Exactly!!

Yep I agree. Once Obama is officially the nominee, which I think will be sometime next week, a compromise will be ironed out. I think Sen. Clinton is aware of that and I think she is now just going through the motions and ensuring that her issues and her priorities are heard at the convention and during the campaign.

I'm glad so many people have now figured out that you need to assimilate.

Democracy only matters when you can do creative math to back it up. Why not just add an amendment to the Constitution to make HC president forever or the perpetual Democratic nominee?

I don't find it hard to believe....if a political party disenfranchised me, I would not vote for their candidate in the election. There are a lot of signatures on petitions I have seen saying to count the delegates. It would be wise to count them so we still have a shot at both states, especially Florida. It has been red since 2000 and it could go blue this year. If their delegates are not part of the 50 states at the convention in Denver, kiss Florida Republican
