There was a recent thread on the best-ever performances on daytime. Just look at the incredible range of emotions realized by Kathryn Hays' fine acting as Kim reacts to Bob and people around her.

Also, notice the skillful way Marland interwove history into the discovery when Kim mentioned Susan as wanting to get even for the two women's war over Dan Stewart in the 1970s. Merely one short sentence achieved such richness of context--mesmerizing!
