Congratulations to Ashlee Renee Holland, who is the newest contract castmember of "Days of Our Lives." Ashlee received the highest percentage of votes in the finals of "I Wanna Be a Soap Star." The ten-week SoapNet series featured ten contestants competing for a 13-week contract role on "Days of Our Lives." This is the first time in the four-year history of "I Wanna Be a Soap Star" that a woman has won. Ashlee, 28, was born on June 18, 1979 in Portland, Oregon and raised in Roanoke, Virginia. She is the daughter of former Major League All-Star pitcher Al Holland. She has one son, Justin. She has appeared as a dancer in the music videos of the Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z, Celine Dion and 50 Cent. Ashlee has also appeared on television in the series "Kitchen Confidential" as well as films such as "The Hot Chick", "The Premiere" and "Moving Day." Ashlee's begins taping her yet-to-be-revealed role on Friday, October 19. Her first airdate will be sometime in November.
