Members ljacks13
Can today's soaps survive if they were moved to the internet? Would they be able to put up a full thirty minute or even hour show on the internet? I have noticed that a lot of the online soaps on now are no longer than two to three minutes in length per episode, so as of right now no but could they work in the future? Members AMCGio83
I think maybe one day they will air exclusivly on cable with maybe uploads available on tv. Many primetime tv shows seem to air multiple times on other cable networks (Bravo for instance, airs NBC shows). NightShift was a hit (which is absolutly baffling) I'm sure eventually SoapNet will be the only game in town.
Members Cheap21
I dont see how they can since commercials are what help fund soaps. I dont see them making the same amount of revenue on internet ads enough to last
