Richie hands Emma over, but the threat Richie poses to Annie is far from over. Ryan & Aidan drag Richie to the pump house & threaten him, & both men are arrested for kidnapping & attempted murder. At Ryan & Aidan's arraignment, Richie gets the charges dropped. Annie changes tactics & invites Richie to dinner. The ensuing scenes are viewers' first glimpse of Richie's true character as we see signs of crazy Richie. Richie decides to leave, only to find Ryan at the door. Ryan wants Richie dead & goes to shoot him, but Annie tries to stop him. Ryan ends up shooting Annie. Casting About/Grapevine: The long-awaited Tad/Kate reunion may take place next month. AMC Ratings:Week of 9/17 - 2.1 Who's Coming: Victoria Clark (Sharon Borg) as a party planner Jonathan & Ava meet with on 10/18. Terri Ivens: Simone returns on 11/1 as Kendall imagines a conversation with her late confidante. Sneak Preview: JR & Zach move forward with their scheme to get revenge against Greenlee on 10/16. Alicia Minshew thinks that the goal of this s/l is to get people (other than just Aidan) to feel sympathy for Greenlee. What Will Happen: Kendall continues to reel Greenlee in. The battle is just beginning between Ryan & Richie. Ryan's actions have serious consequences for Annie. Sound Off: A letter from a viewer who is enjoying the Spike is deaf s/l, & appreciates that AMC is raising public awareness about hearing loss. Mail Bag: A viewer says she will be Kendall's biggest fan if she gets revenge on Greenlee, who needs to be taught to stay away from the Slater family.
