Well when it came out on video it was new to me. I loved it.

Now going back watching the early ones (which got released on dvd, like on video, later on after the rest came out) I have less than thrilling things to say about the early months. They're not precisely awful but it certainly got a LOT better when other really good writers came on the scene.

And yes the regular dvd releases are all well worth watching. It's the "Collector's" series which went back to do the skipped over stuff I'm talking about as less exciting.

I believe th ecollectors series is now being reissues at cheaper prices or something..

I'v ebeen meaning to invest in these as I've only seen about 30 eps of the show myself and love it--but never have gotten aroudn to it... Is there any site that sells them cheaper? how many box sets are there in total?

And yeah the show really picked up when Gordon Russell (and Sam Hall) became headwriters--they of course wnet on to do many of the glory years of One Life to Live
