DOes this blog actually represent P&G tho?

Yeah was I wondering the same thing. It looks like comments put together by fans.

The comments have no effect on the blog entries. Everything I've read prior to finding the site suggests that it's P&G's site. Even the tone of the writing seems to support that idea.

It's an official site. It's run by P&G and the writer of the blog entries is a P&G employee. She also runs the P&G "official" message boards and co-wrote the "Oakdale Confidential" and "Jonathan's Story" tie-in books.

Maybe Alina's gathering input for another book since Oakdale Confidential, parts 1 and 2 were such intelligent pieces of literature (Turns sarcasm off now) Maybe her next "best seller" will be titled "Doug Marland..the Real Story". The woman is a mouthpiece pure and simple who pimps herself out to TPTB in order to cash in at the expense of distorting the history of the characters and the show.

They are just pointing out that Marland was not perfect and that he did not deserve a God-like status. No one does.
