'Golden Girl' Betty White appears in new TVLand special

  • Member

I love Betty White and can't wait to see her do this. Next week, she will appear on the new TVLand series 'Back to the Grind.' The show features actors and actresses doing their tv jobs for real. Betty will do the happy homemaker job that her 'Mary Tyler Moore' character Sue Ann Nivens did.

Loni Anderson, Betty White Back To The Grind With "Old" Jobs

Actresses Loni Anderson and Betty White are featured in a new U.S. reality series, which puts celebrities in real-life roles they played on TV.

Anderson, who turns 61 on August 5th, cheerily tried to see if she really was cut out to be a radio station secretary, like the one she played in sitcom WKRP In Cincinnati.

She manned the phones at rap and country music stations in Los Angeles on Back To The Grind, a new TV Land reality series, made copies and flitted from assignment to assignment in her well remembered light-hearted manner.

The legendary actress and comedienne Betty White, 85, will also be featured in "Back to the Grind" in a reenactment of her role as Sue Ann Nivens from the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

"I don't go into the kitchen and do anything but feed my dogs," White says with her customary wry smile.

Ya just gotta love America's sweetheart Betty White. :)
