I agree. Unless Roman is revealed to be a DiMera plant then it is stupid he is not involved in this storyline.

Roman should be collateral damage in this storyline. The character serves no purpose, and it would up the stakes in the Brady/DiMera fued (and bring things full circle) for him to get killed off.

...plus it would free up some $$$

Absolutely. Roman needs to be killed, as does Pop Shawn. Both characters dying would contribute much more to the story than they ever could if they stayed alive. Up the stakes, I say!
