Homosexuals should not serve in the military

I think I'll be happy being a military brat...being born and raised by military relatives....That's me; a family member of military and law enforcement

Seriouisly though...What are some of these folks afraid of? Are they afraid that one day they are going to wake up and find the whole military base redecorated? I don't care what sexual orientation a person has; if they want to serve and protect, they should have that honor/privelige to do so.

He also cited a new Zogby poll, commissioned by the Michael D. Palm Center at the University of California at Santa Barbara, of 545 U.S. troops who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Three quarters said they were comfortable around gay men and lesbians; 37 percent opposed allowing gays to serve openly; 26 percent said they should be allowed, and 37 percent were unsure or neutral.

Well there you go....these conservatives need to lighten up and let these people do what they chose to do....fight for the country they love. What is the harm in that?
