ATWT Mike being recasted?

I agree that Shawn Christian would be the only acceptable recast. Otherwise, TPTB should just let Mike go away and never come back.

I think Mark Collier was wasted in his 4 years on the show.... he's not a great actor, but he does do comedy very well and they should have played that up more. Mike was usually a bore.

There is speculation around that Mike will be recasted when Mark Collier leaves. Rumors are TPTB at ATWT are trying to get Shawn Christian back in the role of Mike. The writers want a Mike/Katie/Brad triangle. When will the obsession with Katie end? Katie needs to be backburned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope Shawn accepts the offer. Since his show,Summerland got cancelled in 2005 his career has been nothing but guest roles on other tv shows. He made mention in an old Soapdom interview that the timing would have to be right to return to soaps. It seems this is the best time for him.I don't know what would stop him from accepting, unless he didn't want to take his 6 year old son out of school to move to New York.

He could be paired with Lily,or some other female character, but NOT Katie

I see a positive sign in the fact that tptb haven't gotten a response as yet to their offer. It means hes thinking it over and hasn't rejected it outright B)
