Y&R: It's Chow Time

Revenge is a dish best served in Genoa City. Fan favorite Vincent Irizarry was dumped by All My Children after nine years as the deliciously squirrelly Dr. David Hayward. But by the time his last episode aired on November 29, he already had a new gig. On January 9, he hits CBS' The Young and the Restless as David Chow, a fiery businessman whose lover Carmen (Marisa Ramirez) was recently murdered. "David comes to town to seek justice," Irizarry says. 'He accuses Drucilla [Victoria Rowell] of the crime, and he's got physical evidence." Irizarry swears he's OK about his AMC ouster: "The first seven years were great. Then they lost sight of my character's complexity, so I'm at peace with their decision." Especially now.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand, WHAMMO! Another elogeunt public swipe at The Destroyer.

This sounds like an excellent part for VI. I may have to tune it. Damn, I want my Dr. Dave! But remain thrilled for Vincent and wish him much success.

Maybe, someday...down then line when AMC's finishing swallowing the bitter pill of McTravesty's reign, Dr. Deeelish will make his grand return to PV. Until then, go Y&R.

I'm guessing that the 'evidence' he has against Dru will be his trying to put the murder on her and deflect himself from being the culprit of the crime, this should be interesting.

I don't think David murdered Carmen. But I'll love his passion and fire, shaking up everyone in GC, big time! :)
