I'm still sifting through Eurovision back catalogue, it's a formidable task... as I just got into it about 5-6 years ago. I ran across this for the first time. Good Lord, my mind is blown.

I've been hearing much about Belarus today as well... looks like the axe is about to fall. Then again, as much as Eurovision claims to be non political, you have things like Turkey getting ONE point in 1975 after it's invasion of Cyprus in 1974. You'd think that composers would have learned by now to give political lyrics a WIDE berth in regards to the contest. The UK song is not bad... it would be much better without that nasty autotune on his voice.

The song istelf has good structure... it would be alright in the hands of someone who could actually sing.

To me, the lack of diversity is the problem. Such a high percentage of these girls that sing in this bizarre, auto-tuned cursive singing... they more or less all sound alike (with a few exceptions). If you think about past singers, such as Abba, Lulu, Aretha Franklin, Cher, Diana Ross, Olivia, etc... they couldn't be more different from one another.

I literally HATE the way all these female singers sound. I don't even know how to describe it. Anxhela is the only one I like so far. Her voice is beatiful.

It will interesting to see who they choose at Melodifestivalen, I ran across this song from a few years ago, and LOVE LOVE LOVE it... so disappointed it didn't get to go to the contest.

Well... my bother in law's best friend just died Monday night. Big Trump lover, posted memes over Thanksgiving saying that he was not going to be afraid to live his life. Looks he didn't make it till Christmas, I wonder if he felt regret when they put the intubation tube in, and then had to lay there and suffer for 12 days until he finally expired. What a complete dumbass. And I wonder how many other people he infected when he first came down with it?

I find even during Roseanne's season 10 and it's still true... the show lost a degree of spontaneity, the lines are "performed" and don't appear as natural. Poor Roseanne, she seems to be descending into madness on her recent podcasts. I just ran across this again, and damn... I know your'e not supposed to laugh at the mentally ill, but this is comedy gold that just never gets old.

My brother in law's best friend from high school has just been moved to ICU and put on a ventilator. 62, about 100 pounds overweight, oxygen level 72%. Well... looks like COVID is going to get the last laugh on him. What a nincompoop.

I can't stand Hauser. I hated him the day he appeared, and my opinion hasn't changed. They were never really able to recast Greg properly. Brian Kerwin only lasted 6 months, and Howard McGillin didn't last much longer. Wings Hauser just has the face of a ferrett and such a ham-fisted scenery chewing acting style that made me cringe every time he was on.
