  1. I'm sorry... I was having a brain fart, and somehow I didn't realize you were speaking strictly in terms of the primaries. That's my fault. So maybe he would have difficulty in the primaries, but then again, he might not. The fact that he is so supportive of the middle class working American is the thing that might bridge all gaps. And when it comes to a general election, Trump would have a hell of a time going after a MAJOR.
  2. I don't see how 6% of the population can constitute as the base of anything. Part of a base, certainly... I suppose we'll see. Not so fast!!! This was reported by TMZ, and as we all know, Harvey Levin's lips have been on Trump's backside since the get go.
  3. I agree with this. I think of these conservative judges as being hard asses whose only loyalty is to the LETTER OF THE LAW. The fact that one of Trump's appointees gave him this slap in the face is delicious. You actually think black women would vote for 4 more years of Trump than him? If that's true then this country deserves 4 more years of Trump. He won't ignore the south... he's FROM the south. Bernie wasn't, and did have that yankee elitist mentality. He will also temper the "socialist agenda" and get us something that we will really be able to get passed. I have a suspicion that many voters who turned out in the midterms will get complacent and sit on their asses, enabling Trump to be re-elected. The biggest obtacle we have with the democrat base is apathy. I've known several who have never voted in their entire lives, the biggest thing on their minds being where their next marijuana cigarette is going to come from.
  4. This does not surprise me one bit from this vain little !@#$%^&*]. You'd think his base would turn against him for stuff like that, but they are just too indoctrinated. Luckily, there are enough people who voted for him while holding their nose, that I jut don't see him getting re-elected. If Mueller gives him enough grief, he may pull a Lyndon Johnson and not run again. Everyone said it would NEVER happen with Johnson until it did.
  5. Richard Ojeda is the one who IMO, has the best chance of beating Trump... if he picks a good running mate, Trump wouldn't have a chance. He may have lost his race, but it was also the biggest swing in the country. Military Major, and southern accent... he would win Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee, I guarantee it. I've always said, a centrist Democrat that treads lightly when it comes to gun control will win without any hassle at all. Mark my words, he's gonna gain momentum like Bernie did. Only this time, Hillary won't be in the way. If he chooses someone like John Kasich as a running mate, to show unity, he would be unstoppable.
  6. I liked his aggressiveness, but I guess that came at a price. He supposedly said that she was beating on him first... which if true, means she did deserve to get hit back. But who knows if it is the truth.
  7. Not living in big cities is a big plus. Maybe it will help make rural areas more blue, too.
  8. That's an easy problem to solve. Make PEC's autmoatically covered by all insurance companies, and cap premiums at 7% of your income. They'll just have to force the insurance companies to do it by law. The other idea I had was to have networks of doctors and hospitals that you can pay directly into, almost like a gym membership. Cut the middle man out altogether.
  9. but wasn't there mandates attached? It all needs to be completely optional ... when I say "The other side", I mean conservatives in general have this idea that "medicare for all" mean every single person in the country will be FORCED onto it, with no choice.
  10. Absolutely. Bernie comes out with these lofty ideas about folding every person in the country into medicare, and the other side just blanches at that. How hard is it to simply have a public option with ZERO mandates attached to it, that is only available to those below a certain income level (Like 400% of the poverty level, which would be about 48,000 a year for a single person) you pay on a sliding scale, and subsidized by something like a marijuana tax or junk food tax, or both. It also seems easy to me for gun regulation, instead trying to ban these AR platform rifle, to put them under a restricted status, and make it so you've got to have a special permit to own one, similar to a Truck driver who has to have a CDL. And then if you have a class A misdemeanor or anything worse in your history, you would be denied the permit.
  11. I was shocked, too!!
  12. I can almost bet the rotten children's parents were just as deplorable. This crap is passed down.
  13. I didn't know that Rick Scott was CEO of a company that committed the largest Medicare fraud in US history. Why do these crooks get any traction?
  14. CNN has sent JIM ACOSTA to cover the Armistice anniversary celebration, where Trump is. And Trump don't have any say in it! LOL
  15. They did it with Amy Carter, too.. I don't know how that became acceptable in mainstream society.
  16. What Bernie said is being misrepresented... in this video, you can hear his full comments, and honest analysis on the interview.
  17. So... Trump outright calls April Ryan a "loser", then Abby Miller asks him "do you want him to reign in Robert Muller"? And he just tells her it's a stupid question, and talks to her like a 6 year old that has pooped her pants. What a racist and misogynist scum.
  18. Democrats are too wimpy a lot of the time. They all need some lessons from Maxine Waters.
  19. I still find it uproariously funny that this guys name is David PECKER. It just never gets old laughing at that. Still hearing Kemp's bigoted butt in Georgia telling people he's won and it's time to move on. Hell no! Count those provisional ballots and then have a run off. Several lawsuits about voter suppression are taking place, this is gonna be bloody knuckles to the end.
  20. I'd support prohibition if I thought it would work. We just need drunk driving penalties like they have in Germany. First time is fine of 500-1500 Euros. guns can be treated the same way. It's easy to stop the everyday gun violence (As opposed to mass shootings, which are different motivation) just have a criminal offense committed with a gun carry life in prison with no parole.
  21. Glad you saw the light. Republicans only prosper when Democrats sit on their asses. I've voted in every single election since the 1986 midterms. Get your friends to vote, too. If they are Republicans, then let the air out of their tires on election day.
  22. I didn't mean it that way... I meant the comment as two separate statements.. I didn't mean there were populists in Europe, just that I like their form of governments better. Abortion and guns is the biggest deal here. I can tell you that for sure. Ike Skelton, who had been my congressman for most of my life, is a pro life centrist democrat... and he held his seat for 37 years, all the way up until 2009. It also helped he lived his entire life in the district he represented, and was a VERY friendly person. I ended up doing a fair amount of the flowers for his funeral, and he was well loved by all. So Democrats can win... if they just are pro life and/or pro guns. And also, people just HATED Hillary here, why I don't know.... since they loved her husband. That makes no sense to me. In my county, Hillary only got 26% of the vote... while Obama had gotten FORTY FIVE. That's a huge freakin difference.
  23. Not always... they will vote for a Democrat if he's a "Good ol boy". Bill Clinton won 84 counties in Missouri. Reynolds county in the Ozarks is another big Democratic area. In 1992, Clinton got over 70% of the vote there. The area around Springfield is what is really bad. They never voted for Bill Clinton, or even Jimmy Carter. He's a populist. I voted for him, I would love the USA to have a more European model of government.
  24. I've heard many say that. This election was good as far as ballot initiatives, especially great that Sharice Davids won in Kansas (She's an amazing person)... but to get stuck with Josh Hawley and Vicky Hartzler (Ma Barker) is depressing. How are Missouri voters so damn dumb to vote in candidates that are openly against the very ballot initiatives that they just approved? If he does, it will be exactly like the firing of Archibald Cox. The sh!t will hit the fan.
  25. If I had any doubt how low they would stoop... Fox news had a commentator that is saying the caravan is carrying SMALLPOX. A disease that was eradicated 40 years ago. It boggles the mind.
