12-19-91 Day 29 (2-2-24) Roman was not a jerk. John pretty much was a jerk to Isabella who currently could be described as "long suffering". During the day Roman & Marlena with the kids went to the Bradys & everyone was there but Bo & Carly & little snaggle-tooth Shawn-D plaintively asked weren't they ever gonna get back from Mexico?!! Then Roman said he had a surprise & he opened the door & there was the happy couple & there was a lot of hugging! He wanted to hear about their trip & then he said, "You were stuck in a hotel room for 3 days?! How boring." All of the grown-ups laughed their heads off. John was short with Izzy & refused to go to the Bradys. Izzy & Marlena cooked up a plan for John to see Eric & Sami right after school. They saw the Xmas lights but then Sami got onto John for lying to them & saying he was their father. Eric got into the act, too, and it was an awful scene for John.

I would prefer daily but I have not found any for GL 90/91.

What I am looking at is 1990 & 1991, but it is scans of SOD recaps so twice a month.

You often see people now call AW a sister soap to ATWT. Within the last 3-4 months an active poster in the ATWT discussion topic referred to them as such. They really enjoyed reading the document then.

I had no problem with the recast John/Jagger. I think it's been an incredible week & it was obviously GH Doing Sweeps as only they can! When Spencer grabbed her by the throat & threw her up against the wall, I applauded! It was perfect.

But then they would have to have story they wanted to tell with Jax, which they may not have. This recast John/Jagger is just a Fed. And, I've been using the fingers crossed emoji often! 🤞 At one point the only reason I could tolerate Sonny was because he was with Brenda. 🤞

Was that post on Ingo's IG for real & was it timely? If ASJr really posted about needing to get rid of Frank & it fit the timeframe, I can imagine a revenge recasting.
