True. We know that he was writing for sure as of Mon. Jan. 29 but we do NOT know if he began before then. He could have begun as early, for one example, as Jan. 20. And we know Korte was writing already of course. What we do not know outstrips what we know by a long way. However, the writer I mentioned would indeed know when PM began.

Love hearing this. And I even like the idea of a decision that is made this way where one is considering things over some time & then some event occurs & the decision gets made. So, yesterday a writer hollered at me & said they couldn't see any way that the new Mulcahey/Korte material could possibly air before mid-March but they reckoned that re-written D&C material could air earlier that that like the article was saying March 4. And to me that writer made a lot of sense. And I thanked them for reaching out & went on my way.

One thing that happened was that Anna saved Lucy & Filly from being arrested by just talking to Jackson on the phone. And, of course Blair came to town looking like a million bucks & we found out she was ex#3 & she teased & flirted with Marty all to end by intimidating him with some unknown threat. And it turned out that she was in league with Tracy about Lucy & that darn 1% of ELQ stock & half of Deception. Marty had known about Blair's invention & given trade secrets to Lucy presumably during pillow talk. The conclusion was that Lucy lost 51% of Deception to Tracy. And to this date Tracy still owns it & is using it, although she said she only got it for Brook Lynn. It makes Tracy a player in any Deception shenanigans, & I like that.

It's not that Kin has any power over his story if that is what you're thinking. It is a question of control & misbehavior. Once due to some misbehavior they took a court case away from him & made up some story nonsense about him having to go deal with Serena being arrested for advocating for the whales. It was an abrupt change in story. With Gati he made her cry more than once on set.

I know you are, for some reason, disinclined to believe it, but Frank looked at the scab written show & saw real difference & then as soon as the scabs left & D&C returned he began thinking ... that was right almost to Xmas & then in Jan. something happened that cinched it. Of course, I too would love to know who wrote struck GH & also who wrote struck DAYS.

And what you describe has happened over & over on so many shows. It's disheartening. And, every show has written history & character profiles, and family trees!

Before she became a writer she was the Director of the East Coast Daytime Programs for NBC. Is that what you mean? I don't have any idea how much she'd have known about the ins & outs of any specific show. If I were to guess I would think she'd have times when she knew quite a bit about something that was going on & other times, not a clue. Also many people believe she cherry-picked a Pete Lemay outline. FWIW.

I feel like Suzanne Rogers at some point started being ignored by some writers. Then she never caught back up after they did something with her again & she became Victor's wife. So, today was like a pre-Valentine's sex & romance day. And both Abe/Paulina and Chanel/Johnny said "always and forever." Stephanie has sure gotten a lot of action. Tripp was hilarious being so protective of his mothers, also a bit silly. But, at the same time it does I think give us insight into the way he views her, so idyllic, so traditional. And, blast it if we're not back to tarot cards & triggers. I'm going to have to work extra hard at suspending my disbelief so I don't shout at the screen, "Too hokey!" So now we have PawnJohn who can be turned off & on like a switch. But, I guess it was a good DAYS. Oh, one more thing. I strongly feel we need a name for Abe without memory, maybe Abeless?

As fans we dodged a bullet with the script that was trashed! I've heard it was pretty appalling. Someone from the past, with a physical handicap now from some explosion, who had been held captive by a GH villain who had him brainwashed & set to assassinate Sonny & only Jason could save Sonny from this dire event. Oh my. Awful & formulaic.

I imagine that will be an out of order day & that after it will go back to Dan & Chris scripts & then they will really end & new stuff start in earnest. Before Mulcahey had even been named publically a Jason re-entry script was dumped entirely & Korte was set to begin something from scratch.
