AH! To me it was just that her instantaneous reaction was to do what Anna had just said not to do. Yeah. I don't mean it as a criticism of Anna. I just think that it is possible to handle Carly but very few people know that. Right. I get that, too. Color me confused. You think Drew is not as bad that way? Someone was saying, comparing her now to when she was on PSSN, that she doesn't seem to age yet somehow she seems more beautiful than she did on the other soap. I think we got it. If what you're getting at is that it was a good wedding, then, I agree. My only beef was that they kept giving the mic to smiling Jack Drewfus who when he is in a tux & has a microphone in his hand, I can only see Product Spokesperson or Game Show Host!!! Portia in her gown was so lovely!!! If there were other stories, I cannot think what. You?

Boy, that was not at all my takeaway from Anna reading Carly the riot act. I mean she booked a driver to take her to the prison the next instant after Anna stopped chewing her out. I loved the scene, but I thought Anna approached Carly completely wrong. I was glad that Jordan brought Trina up to date. Frankly, I felt that Trina expressed what the fans are feeling about what Laura is up to.

We just had parties, successful ones. I expect they had more covid precautions still in place for Portia's wedding. And it was totally eclipsed by the biological father of Trina reveal. They went directly from the ceremony to a huge fight with Curtis furious & also Trina furious. And, Taggert getting drunk.

Lois's hat is what British women wear, called a fascinator. With Lois they were going for "posh". I thought everything looked grand. Tracy, Maxie & Willow, great bridesmaid's gowns. Jordan looked amazing. I guess I loved every single thing about Tracy, the lavender, the glance at the picture of Lila & Edward, what she said to Ned & their hug, what she said to Brook Lynn & their hug, ... seemed hugging was a sub-theme. Yes, even Spinelli hugging Jason. Oh, Gio. He is very good & I loved the violin music.

I think you know that they didn't recast to have a mama there for Chase. And, good god, the cast is so big! Well, they own it so they don't have to pay anyone unlike the other 3. People watch on TV, on Hulu, on the app, on abc.com, on YouTube TV, ... maybe something I'm not thinking of, but many ways to watch where one is not represented by the Nielsen ratings. Last I heard GH was #4 on Hulu. I don't know of any metric that counts those other ways to watch.

Yabbut those people from PP basically had no idea what in the hell they were doing! Have you heard Slezak about it on the Linda Dano podcast? GEEZE.

SoapHub says today is the calm before the storm. I say screw that, all we've been having is calm, let's have some damned storm!!! The only excitement among GH fans is Nancy Lee Grahn trying to convince people that Haley Pulos is somehow the victim, poor thing having to suffer so in the detention center but mentioning how nice the guards are to her. Now you can imagine the reaction to these multiple posts by NLG trying to drum up sympathy for one who is called THE BRAT.

Well, it's definitely an homage. To me it works. She's just so much like Amy. So, it's effective IMO. And, it's not insulting.

I can't imagine that they had anything remotely like the budget that would have been needed to really do Coney Island. Then we're supposed to have 3 days of the wedding & the wedding reception. So, the rest of the week. They spent a week taping it.

But, at any rate my understanding of things in real time were that Chris was fired but rehired. Also in real time it was said that Dan was gonna pull an Ingo since of course suing worked out so well! Shannon Peace was fired because of Shannon Peace. 1. Said to be the weakest BDW. 2. Everyone was given notes & a chance to react to notes. Some people saved their jobs because of how they reacted to their notes. Implication being that the people who did not react well to their notes, well, they were outta there. A litmus test, if you will.

Since we saw his "re-hire" show first time today in credits, I wonder if we will see any other new name "hires" in the next few days! They needed to replace 2 breakdown & Korte's prior position. Surely (I hope) she's not still wearing two hats!!!

Not what anyone is talking about, but here's a pic of some of the GH gang last Friday night at SAS's event. LW is in a simple black Diane Von Furstenburg dress & black strappy dress sandals. I don't know who Alley Mills is wearing but she has the boots on that she bought last year for the Emmys & they are Christian Loubutin & cost a bundle! Now, I return you to your usual discussion.

I went to my notes to see but I didn't find it, so I will be dropping that from my comments in future about James Lipton. I still find it very odd that he is a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Daytime Emmys when he was only a moderately successful actor & not successful as a writer at all. Of course he was a huge success as the host of Inside the Actors Studio & wrote a successful book about it "Inside Inside" but neither of those things would fall into Daytime Emmy territory! Coincidentally, while looking for this information I found one of the examples of it being wrongly claimed that Agnes Nixon put all of James Lipton's characters on a plane & crashed it.

Sure, sometimes I just post my own thoughts, or whatever is being tossed around. But, sometimes it is different. Sometimes people who have sources compare info with other people who have different sources in private. So, sometimes you get BINGO! Right now, these multiple sources say there is a battle being waged behind the scenes. Frank, Varni, PM & EK started over the length of scenes & went on from there. We don't know specifically wtf they are arguing about. Obviously it does not bode well. I mean, someone has to win. Surely they can't go on this way. Frankly, I would also suggest this has the ring of truth about it, from what we are seeing. Meant to say this upfront. The 1st person to leak the first battle over scene length was NLG to someone she speaks with weekly. Whether you are aware of it or not she is known for leaking & is supposedly protected from repercussions due to her status as a Varni pet. On this occasion she was not only leaking but saying that the fans need to let it be known that they love the longer scenes because of her friendship with PM. Also in thinking about what someone said, maybe Khan, the idea was why hire PM if you're not going to let him do what he does, ... I think of a few things. 1. Maybe Frank didn't want him. 2. Maybe Frank is stubborn enough to hire someone like Patrick but think that you will just deal with things as they come up. IDK, These people do not always seem logical when you get right down to it.
