I used to hate the bitch slaps & catfights but somehow that changed. I know it began last year with the MVJ-written catfight on GENERATIONS. Not that it happened last year but when I saw it & for some unknown reason appreciated it for its best-ness. Now just today I find I'm interested in a catfight on GL between Laura Wright & Gina Tognoni. Anita & Dani are the BTG characters I'm most interested in, so far. But, I don't think it's because Dani delivers a slap well in a promo.

Plus, egregiously I am guessing we are never gonna know why Cyrus did his odd bit of business when he took Sexy Dexy's hospital ID bracelet off his dead body & pocketed it & it was one of the things Joss found. [grumble] And, I don't think Eden's portrayal has changed. No, I think it's the receivers.

I'm sorry but I don't see the distinction you're making. Joss has a ton of character motivation. Cyrus killed her lover, Sexy Dexy. Lulu was comatose at the time you're speaking of & nothing has happened since she got up & around to point her at Cyrus like a bull's eye. I'm not convinced they actually write supervillains. Well, Ryan was one. Making sh*t up as you go along vs. the writing discipline & good habit of deciding ahead of time & making a plan & sticking to it. A rant about GH recent past with O'Connor/Van Etten & current Korte/Van Etten. So, I am as disgusted as I know how to be since I have come to the conclusion that Korte/Van Etten have just pulled a stunt like O'Connor/Van Etten pulled all the time & what that is, is making sh*t up as they go along. Change their minds 3, 4 or even 5 times about who is the doer & who are the victims. Double back, create fake flashbacks, try to retcon the past into the new future you just thought up. Korte & Van Etten! We would like a word with you!

Here again, you may think I am nitpicking but I don't think I am. It's a modesty code. And, she is a practicing Orthodox Jew who keeps kosher. But, not all Orthodox Jews follow a modesty code & I am told various people from various religions do & there is a lot of differences in the way they interpret how they present themselves to the world. So, basically it's a kinda individual thing. And, to all of the rest, what you & I say is very similar. To me it's simple, since she will not fulfill the requirements of a fictional romantic life, then she should not have a romance at all. Obvious, right? So, a two day difference?! I think the "trains must run on time AT ALL COSTS" mentality is getting in the way of good dramatic serialized storytelling on at least a few occasions. In this instance I feel JJ definitely should have played these beats. Previously I felt the same about a time when the TempMichael was in place. And, on DAYS it was beyond absurd that over a question of 2 days Kristian Alfonso (Hope) was not at Doug's Memorial service.
