  1. Yeah, when you force Orrin Hatch of all people to come out in favor of transgender rights that's gonna leave a mark.
  2. Dear Gawd. Of course this is no surprise to those of us attacked by Berners in the past but they really have just gone full Pepe. These people would be so dangerous if they were actually capable of any real organizing.
  3. And again let's raise a glass to all the lefty purity ponies who sat home and voted third party. They turned innocent people into collateral damage for their precious revolution and Hayes is right, as Donnie unravels more and more he will double down on attacking the marginalized while the alt-left calls civil rights "identity politics."
  4. Don't believe him. People have got to stop believing there is any goodness in these people. They choose party over everything. Their country, their God, even their families. Always. The only time they don't do it is when they know the vote won't matter (See: Collins & Murkowski).
  5. He wasn't thinking. Did you hear how slurred his speech was? Between that and hislack of impulse control and his trips down memory lane to his friends sex yacht I'd guess he's about at Stage 5 of dementia. I have no pity for him at all. What I find so funny is that Sessions gave up his job as a senator in order to become A.G. If Donnie fires him, then Jeff is out of a job completely.
  6. Those questions are the reason I find the move so disgusting.
  7. Sounds like Grandpa is sundowning again.
  8. If this is true I don't ever want to hear how McCain is a war hero again.
  9. I don't believe it. The GOP has shown itself to be utterly corrupt with zero integrity. They've been spitting on the Constitution and this country's well-being for years. Long before Trump. I don't think they are even capable of doing the right thing anymore because the party is rotten to the core.
  10. I think so. Anyone who wasn't Reva was always going to have an uphill climb but Tangie seemed like a dead character walking from go. Personally, I liked her. Not loved, but liked. I can't even explain why she was such a failure but even before the internet it was obvious fans hated her.
  11. John McCain has a brain tumor.
  12. Yes they will. In fact I expect our trolls to do exactly that any minute now. *looks at watch*
  13. Which is ridiculous because Republicans always vote Republican no matter what.
  14. I am utterly fascinated by the Special Counsel's office. The hammer has got to come down soon because they've brought on top notch prosecutors. Those aren't people who left their jobs just to spin their wheels for months. Now they've moved into permanent offices just down the street from the DOJ complete with a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). This is going to pop off soon one way or another either with indictments or Donnie trying to fire Mueller.
  15. Jimmy Carter got released from the hospital and went right back to building houses.
  16. He's not capable. He's so cognitively compromised that it's harder and harder for him to maintain any self control. I keep wondering when he's finally going to do something in public so obviously impaired that even his cult can't spin it.
  17. It was never about legal vs. illegal immigration. It's always been about white supremacy.
  18. This healthcare ad is running in states with vulnerable senators (AK, CO, OH, NV, & WV)
  19. Translation: he's falling apart physically and mentally and his caretakers want to get him out of Washington and back to someplace he feels comfortable to slow down the decline. Hey Khan, we got some good news from your neck of the woods.
  20. I've lived in Ohio most of my life and presidential elections are usually madness but they are kindergarten nap time compared to a Sherrod Brown Senate race. The money that gets dumped into this state is mind-boggling. http://www.dispatch.com/news/20170710/sherrod-brown-raises-off-year-record-26m-in-second-quarter-for-re-election
  21. The truth is it will never be dead unless the GOP is out of power. Repubs are nothing if not focused on the long game. They are still trying to destroy Medicare and Social Security which have been around for decades.
  22. "One of the listed donations, for example, was a $1 million gift from Corinne Bove Maietta, a member of a well-known Burlington family. In fact, trustees learned, the $1 million had been intended as a bequest upon her death." Oh that's a no-no.
  23. Watch how fast those two interpreters meet with "accidents."
  24. I feel for the families getting threats but I have no sympathy for CNN as an organization. They worked harder than anybody to elevate Donnie. I kind of enjoy watching them hoisted on their own petard. I do hope Zucker gets kicked to the curb.
