  1. I have been enjoying the past few episodes. Faith has really matured and is a sweet young lady. I like seeing her confide in her big sisters. Also, I am actually enjoying Adam/Chelsea right now. I am seeing chemistry between them and I think they have had some really romantic moments these past few episodes. I see chemistry between them and I am fine with them making their way back to each other and reuniting. I think that Adam needs a woman in his life.

Also, I am glad that Fen is still around. He is so handsome and cute. He's both, lol. I wonder if anything else will happen while he's around outside of him interacting with his family. I think that the new guy Tanner seems fine so far. I am liking his personality, he seems like he might be a bit soulful. It's interesting that he is Tessa's ex-husband and I wonder what backstory there may be regarding them and their marriage/it ending.

  2. According to recap for tomorrow's show the new guy Tanner is Tessa's ex husband. He will be on the show tomorrow. They will catch up and talk a little about their past relationship. He will want Tessa to go on tour with him (and it sounds like he says that he wants that for professional reasons.) Tessa will reveal to Mariah they were married.

Also, Sharon will discover a lump in her breast and will make a Doctor's appointment to get that checked out.

And Fen will appear again on tomorrow's show. He will say he is sticking around for a few more days. He will spend time with his family. And Chloe/Kevin will their family including Bella they are having a baby.

  3. Here are some upcoming spoilers from SOD for both Y&R and B&B:

    Y&R:

Rey will sense trouble with Sharon, Phyllis will open up to Nick, Victor will give Adam a warning, and Abby counsels Devon. Also, Jack's plan to support Theo backfires, Theo will needle Summer, Mariah will want answers from Tessa, and Victoria will confront Billy about his behavior. Devon will make a confession about Amanda, Nick and Sharon will reminisce about their past, Nate will be recruited for a new venture and Phyllis will push Abby's buttons. Billy and Amanda will get closer, Adam and Chelsea will reunite and make love. Nikki will plan a surprise for Victor, Phyllis will alarm Abby, Nick will support Sharon, Tessa will catch up with the new guy Tanner and Devon will spend time with Lily.

    From B&B:

Ridge will make it known to Steffy that he believes that she belongs with Liam, Brooke will tell Ridge that she is ready for him to come home, Thomas will sideline Ridge and Brooke's plans, and Liam will propose to Hope. Thomas will maniupulate Steffy. He will learn that Hope is on her way to Steffy's house and will arrange to have Hope see Liam and Steffy in a kiss. Hope will be devastated by what she sees between Liam/Steffy and will break down to Brooke. Shauna will encourage Flo to go after Wyatt.

  4. Thanks FrenchFan for posting these monthly and yearly episode totals. :) And for also posting the bonus list of the most frequent performers of the last 20 years. That was a nice bonus list.

I think it's not surprising that Josh Morrow is leading either at the top or towards the top on all of these lists. Nick has been on a lot lately and a lot in general.

What a mess... wouldn't they at least have released the holiday scenes as their bonus content online then? I never bother to look at it, but if it were the Thanksgiving or Christmas content, I would. Also annoyed they aired a non-classic on Christmas day instead of catching up.

At least with Y&R, even though they were a couple of episodes behind at Christmas, the holiday mood was still there because everything was decorated (and they really did a beautiful job this year) and the characters were discussing the upcoming Christmas plans.  The latest B&B episodes are so out of place they as may as well have aired in summer.

If they are editing things they could very easily just edit a week's worth of these boring Thomas episodes into one day... maybe two LOL.

I agree the overall look and feel of Y&R did help set a holiday mood, even with it being behind. Things still had a nice flow and feel to it. (And Y&R still has some Christmas stuff that will be airing).

    57 minutes ago, sheilaforever said:

On air we had mentions of the Thanksgiving day dinner the next day and some remarks after it. Maybe they did not film a big Thanksgiving Dinner this year

Yeah, that is pretty much all we got. And even those mentions didn't happen until almost like a full week after Thanksgiving in real life. Not only did the impeachment hearings set B&B back, but they didn't air new episodes on Thanksgiving or the day after it. (On that Friday I don't think they even showed an episode at all but aired football instead). B&B really hasn't done much with the holidays this year so far, with an exception being Halloween. (Which they were shown celebrating.)

  6. 10 minutes ago, Faulkner said:

Wait, so B&B will air holiday episodes, just in January? Oof. Not sure what else they could have done if continuity would have been affected.

That might end up happening. They ended up showing the Thanksgiving episodes this year, like a week after Thanksgiving happened. They were so backed up due to the impeachment hearings. (Even more so than Y&R was). I think that one reason for that is because Y&R kept airing episodes to catch up, whereas B&B took at least one day off during the Holiday season. I think they may not have aired a new episode on Thanksgiving (or maybe the day after Thanksgiving.) And their Christmas Day episode was a repeat from last year.

Y&R gave MTS and PB special episodes for their 40th and 30th anniversaries this year, so they should also give EB a special episode for his 40th anniversary.

So you won't be watching on Monday February 10?

I believe they will give EB a tribute too and I think it will be a good one. I enjoyed both MTS's and PB's tributes. (Though, I do think in PB's tribute they went a little heavy with the Jack/Phyllis scenes).

Also, here are some more upcoming spoilers for Y&R and B&B for next week from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette Newspaper:

    Y&R:

Chance will tell Devon & Jill that he is quitting as a federal agent and will be opening his own security firm. Jill will promise Devon that she will help him get his inheritance back from Colin. Also, Chance will misunderstand Abby's invitation to her New Year Eve's Party. Adam will be surprised that Victor/Nikki will pull strings to get Connor readmitted to Walnut Grove Academy. Phyllis will take Jack's advice and promise to focus her energy on herself instead of getting revenge against Adam. Billy will tell Victoria because of work demands she will have celebrate New Year's by herself. Then he will end up texting Amanda.

    B&B:

Ridge will ask Brooke to join the Forresters for Christmas, After Thomas & Zoe awaken next to each other after a night of passion, he will invite her to Christmas dinner. Ridge, will admit to Brooke that he hasn't filed the divorce papers. Steffy will ask Liam how he feels about Hope and Thomas working together. Bill will express to Hope his concern about her working with Thomas. Also, a new man will ask Steffy on a date and Thomas will become suspicious when he walks in on a conversation between Steffy and Zoe.

Also, here is a picture of the New man that will ask Steffy out. It will be a character named Collin.

    Colin Steffy.jpg

I wish they would have brought back the character Leo, that appeared on one episode as an old acquaintance of Steffy. He was so sexy and they had good chemistry. He asked her out but she turned him down. A lot of people enjoyed their scenes together and had wanted him to come back as a love interest for her. It seemed like both the actor and JMW were up to that.

Jt is a snooze as Billy. YR characters have gotten so dull. Billy has become a dull whiny b!tch. I remember when Billy use to be interesting. It doesn't help they continue to put him in Victoria orbit.

    We should be co headwriters..lol

I really enjoyed Billy Miller as Billy. But I have grown to really like and accept JT in the role. To his credit I do think he is trying to make something spark with him and Amanda. IMO, they aren't sparking due to lack of effort on his end. I just think they don't really have romantic chemistry. But the show wants to push them (at least right now), even when IMO she has much better chemistry with Nate, who she is keeping at arms length. (I do think that one big reason she is doing that is because she doesn't want to be hounded by Elena/Devon for her relationship with him. They (especially Elena) kept complaining about Amanda/Nate's relationship/his possible interest in her).

Maybe Amanda doesn't want to be really bothered by them, that's why she hasn't been spending that much time with Nate. But I think she's acting like she like Billy more. Phyllis even asked her who's the guy, when she mentioned she didn't have to buy drinks lately and they were referring to Billy. And now her and Billy keep texting each other and talking about possible plans of meeting up. And Victoria is completely unaware of what's going on with them. She doesn't even know they have become friends/gotten closer. Maybe the show is doing this to try and give Victoria/Billy some angst. Even though they just had their commitment ceremony not too long ago and seemed like they were in a good place again.

  9. Another thing I wanted to address again (and this potential pairing was highlighted a little in today's), is that IMO Billy and Amanda really don't have much romantic chemistry. I don't really think they have any honestly. It feels like the show is trying to force them for some reason. I think that Amanda has really nice chemistry with Nate but the show isn't having them interact that much right now. And they are having Amanda prefer Billy who is in a committed relationship.

They were texting each other on today's show. It's like Amanda wants to start something romantically up with Billy, she did ask him if he was looking to have an affair. She wants him, yet fine looking single Nate who is into her and she has really nice chemistry with is right there. (Not to mention they would also be really pretty together). Okay..... lol.

I see some people on Twitter, keep pushing for Amanda/Billy acting like they have a ton of chemistry. And I just don't see it. Now some of these people may genuinely see chemistry between them. But I think that others just don't want Amanda around Nate/Devon and that's why they are pushing this pairing so hard. I don't have any problem with Amanda with other men especially if she has chemistry with them,  (I had wondered if she might have chemistry with Nick or Adam).but I don't want to see something forced. I do think that JT is really trying to make something spark with him and Amanda, but I don't think there's anything really there.

I'd definitely write a story where Fen and Lola grow closer as she helps him recover from his drug addiction, thereby putting an inevitable strain on her and Kyle's marriage.  But that's me.

I didn't care for Fen/Lola the last time around. I don't think they really had much chemistry. I thought they started out okay as friends, though she ended up using him to make Kyle jealous. (And so did Summer though Summer at least ended up apologizing to him for doing that.). I think they are going to have Lola continue to get closer to Theo. They are already texting each other and Kyle doesn't know about it. Plus, she's been giving him advice and Kyle hasn't really been aware of much of that. I still don't really like Lola, but I think she does have some chemistry with Theo.

I loved Fen/Ana together but I also think he has nice chemistry with Summer. If he stuck around, I wouldn't mind seeing the show revisit them. Especially since they broke up Summer/Theo. I have a feeling though he won't be around for very long. I did hear that Zach had been taping a bit more than I thought he would. So it looks like he will be around for maybe at least a couple more episodes. Maybe a little more than that. If he had stuck around long enough, Summer could have helped him with his recovery.

There is also a  spoiler that says that:

    Spoiler

Michael and Lauren will learn shocking information about a family member.

But I'm not sure if that's about Fen or not. It may depend on how long he stays around and how the show uses him.

  11. I was glad to see Fen return to town today. He is so cute and I missed him. I enjoyed his scenes with Michael/Lauren (including him thanking them for saving him and giving them a compass as a gift for guiding him). and also when him and Kyle greeted each other.

Kyle seemed happy to see him, though they were competing the last time around. I do think that Michael Mealor and Zach get along very well in real life and enjoyed acting with each other. It's a shame that Fen didn't stick around longer term, I think that him and Kyle could be good frenemies.

Also, Fen said he is currently in a halfway house. I wonder if the show may end up following up with that, if only mentioning stuff that may happen offscreen. He also mentioned tagging along with Lauren on a trip regarding Jabot, after he gets back on track. I do wonder what he may end up doing career wise after he gets out of the halfway house. It looks like his days of being a singer might be over with, and he dropped out of law school. I had wondered if some point he may end doing some work for Lauren regarding Fenmore's. Especially if he ever comes back to the show longer term.

Also, I was glad to see Ashley show up today and I liked her hair. And it was nice to see Dina again, spending time with the Abbott family.

  12. From what I read in the 2020 preview from SOD, it doesn't sound like Evan will be a bad guy. Ron basically said that there is a bond there with him and Sonny and he's good with Arianna, but asked the question will Sonny's divorce happen. Things are still up in the air regarding the divorce will actually happen.

Also, there is going to be a week in January that will answer questions about stuff that happened in the missing year (Like how Haley, Adrienne and Kristen's baby died).

Also, in 2020 Sarah/Eric will become closer due to dealing with Mickey's illness but this storyline with her illness will also serve as a love story for Xander/Sarah. And Xander will have to decide if he wants to fight for Sarah. Lani coming back to town will cause Eli to still have feelings for her. To deal with this he will propose to Gabi. Lani will continue to decide how she will deal with Gabi and will bring JJ into the mix. But she will understand that if it could be dangerous for Julie if Gabi finds out she's confiding in JJ. Steve/Stefano will cook up a plan with Hope where he can get Marlena and she can get John.

Ciara will end up confronting Victor about framing Ben, because it's getting close to the time of his execution. Victor will end up giving in because he loves Ciara. It will be set up for Victor to confess what he did, so that Ben can possibly be exonerated in time. Rafe will notice differences in Hope and Shawn will come back to town to try and help him figure out what is going on with her.

  13. Here is a preview of what to expect starting in 2020 for Y&R. As well as some other SOD spoilers for the next couple of weeks:

Nick and Chelsea will end up finding their relationship on solid ground as Chelsea spends more time with Adam. She will do this because she is committed to helping Connor. Theo will insinuate himself even more into Kyle and Lola's lives. Kyle will be running out of patience and his rivarly with Theo will explode. Summer will try and play peacemaker for them.  Abby and Chance's blossoming romance will be challenged by a third party and she will deal with more drama at the Grand Phoenix.

An unexpected discovery will threaten Sharon's relationship with Rey and bring an unexpected family member back to GC. Billy and Amanda will find themselves in a dangerous situation that will make them question the true nature of their relationship. Victoria's relationship with Billy will be compromised once she learns of his friendship with Amanda.

Elena will stand her ground in order to protect her relationship with Devon. She will involve Devon and Nate in a passion project and will continue to keep an eye on Amanda. There will be a major power play at Jabot that will cause Jack to play peacemaker. Ashley will visit to see family and settle unfinished business. Also Michael and Lauren's world will be rocked when they learn shocking news about a family member. And Phyllis may get a new romance as she sets her sights on GC's eligible bachelors and also tries to fight her way back into the Grand Phoenix and maybe take down Abby in the process.

Spoilers for the next couple of weeks from SOD:

Nick will turn the tables on Adam, Jill will give Chance the third degree, VIctoria will worry about Billy, Victoria and Nikki will celebrate the New Year in style, Phyllis will flirt with Chance. Sharon will make a startling discovery. Chloe and Kevin will share news, Nikki will issue a warning. Adam and Chelsea will kiss. Tessa will get a shocking offer. The new guy Tanner will arrive and will offer her the opportunity to go on tour with him, but there will be more to that than meets the eye. Lily will also return home for a visit and Victoria will make a shocking discovery.

Some people are speculating that Rey may really end up being the father of Mia's baby and that Mia will be brought back to town.

  14. Fen is back on the newest episode of Y&R that aired in Canada today. It's look like that episode may air Friday. He spends time with his parents and tells them that he has moved into a halfway house. He also talks a bit about his addiction at a gathering that is held by the Abbotts at Society. He will also give his parents a compass a gift and thank them for being there to guide him and saving his life. I'm glad he's back, he's so cute. Ashley is also back, visiting from Paris. Abby will tell her that she likes Chance and that Chance is currently in California visiting Nina. Dina is also on tomorrow's show. The Abbotts will spend time with her at the mansion and give her gifts. Traci and Dina will also sing.

I think that is a nice picture of the Abbott family from the upcoming episode on Friday that was posted at soaps.com

I had to rewind to realize the blonde girl in the video was Faith. The actress has really grown up.

She really has grown quite a bit. I think that she's gotten much closer in size to Summer and Mariah. Also, in an upcoming episode, she will tell Mariah/Summer that she has a crush on a boy and wants advice about him. She really is maturing.

  16. I don't like the way that Devon/Elena keep trying to pry into Amanda's life and how they keep clashing with Nate over that. Amanda really hasn't been bothering them, and doesn't seem concerned about them. Yet they continue to worry about her life and act upset regarding things like her relationship with Nate. I agree with Nate that they shouldn't be prying into her personal life. And both Devon/Elena have been coming across as nags. I could see their snooping leading to trouble coming to town in the form of her ex Ripley.

IMO, this story is falling flat, because Devon wasn't that bothered when Amanda first showed up and seemed more concerned about the will than anything. But now that Colin has taken off wants to turn his attention to Amanda. Elena is coming across as very insecure and Amanda/Nate haven't even been interacting the past several days. I look forward to any upcoming interaction they will have. I think that Nate/Amanda continue to have good chemistry, unlike Amanda/Billy who I really don't see chemistry with. (Though, I'm fine with an Amanda/Billy friendship.) I do think that Jason Thompson is trying to generate something with them, but there really isn't anything there, IMO.

And the show still isn't doing much with the young set. Even Lola, who the show is now acting like Theo might be interested in. The Young set hasn't had much of a story in several weeks now. They really aren't doing much of anything.

I haven't watched since PB's anniversary I think, but I've been keeping up using the board. Does Devon know Nate is now falling for his wife's lookalike?

He and Elena have wondered if Nate has feelings for Amanda. But Nate hasn't really admitted anything to them. Nate continues to be friends with Amanda, though they haven't been shown together in several days. She's been spending more time getting to know/bonding with Billy. I do think that Nate definitely has feelings for her and I wonder how he will react once he finds out that she's been spending more time with Billy.

Wow was Tuesday the season finale?? That episode was amazing top to bottom!

    Anyone else watch?

I enjoyed that episode. I think that this second half of the season had some pretty good episodes. The last four episodes in particular were really good and were smoothly done.

    Thoughts on the finale:

I wonder who hit Titus. Since Damian didn't do it, I wonder who was responsible? Maybe someone connected to the Purifoy family, especially since he was snooping about their past misdeeds. I do think that Lori was on to him. I also wonder if he died. They didn't show up what happened after her flatlined/Amara got upset. I think it's going to end up being revealed that the medical staff were able to revive him. I hope he sticks around. IMO, he is the best male character on the show. He's very appealing and sexy and is a great protagonist.

I also glad that Amara didn't end up really killing Damian. I was glad he was revealed to be alive after her/Stephanie thought she had killed him. I don't want Amara burdened with that. She's one of the few mostly moral characters on the show and I didn't want her having a homicide hanging over her head. I do wonder if her and Stephanie deciding to keep the secret about Damian will eventually have them become closer.

Evan/Rondell's cousin Darcia was trifling IMO, when she sold her shares of Thelma's place to Greg, making him the majority owner of the restaurant. I am interested in seeing how him and Rondell deal with being business partners now. She doesn't like him, but I do think they have chemistry. Even though him/Stefanie seem like they have feelings for each other and might have a star crossed lovers thing happen.

Also, I am interested in seeing if Stephanie really divorces Evan right now. I am intrigued about the possibility of her possibly ending her marriage. Though, I do wonder if her/Evan really love each other or ever loved each other. He did move to protect her after Hunter showed up. But he hasn't really acted like he had a lot of genuine feelings for her. He actually hasn't been very genuine with Bella, either IMO. Though, they seem to have gotten closer after he saved her from Perla and found out about Stefanie and Greg.. And I wonder if Hunter ended up hurting anyone when he showed up with the gun. I don't think anyone will die at the party, maybe someone suffers a minor injury or everyone ends up being okay.  I'm also glad to see Marilyn back, I think that she is a good adversary for Stephanie.

Overall, I really enjoyed this season. When I had saw the previews for the show, I had thought it would be hammy, like The Haves and Have Nots, but it ended up being pretty good and I enjoyed the show and the characters. I hope it's renewed for a season 2.

  18. 3 minutes ago, John said:

Well yR films six weeks before air and I believe Zack filmed last week at YR so he could last  thru January 2020

That would be nice. I enjoy Zach and his version of Fen and would like this visit to be longer.

Also, I've seen some people speculate that Tanner could also be tied to Tessa. Though, they haven't done hardly anything with Tessa in a while now. She hasn't been shown hardly at all in several weeks.

  19. 9 minutes ago, John said:

I bet the connection is Fen

I wonder how long Zach Tinker's/Fen will be around. I think it might be for at least a couple of episodes. Zach said that his first scene back is "very powerful." (I'm guessing they will address Fen's relapse as he reunites with his parents.) Zach is supposed to come back the week of December 23.  I don't know if he's going to still be around when this character is introduced. But maybe if this new character Tanner is connected to Fen, it will just be brought up. Even if Fen is gone again by then.

  20. I think that Chase maybe could have been Chance. When they first kept bringing up Chance's name again and i looked like they were recasting him, I had thought if JD didn't come back they could desoras him somewhat. I had thought that maybe making him like 33 years old would have been a good age. He could have interacted with both the 20 somethings and 30 somethings. Chase is 34 years old, I think that could have worked.

I wonder who he shares a past with. I wonder if it's Amanda or maybe Theo. There is also a spoiler from SOD that says that Mariah finds out a secret, maybe he could be connected to that.

  21. According to soaps.com Adrienne died:

    Spoiler

In a car accident and her organs were donated. I guess Will somehow caused the accident.

I'm not sure where that spoiler originally came from, but soaps.com is usually very accurate with their spoilers. And they do post their own Days spoilers every Friday.

Also, lol on today's show at Kate calling Evan a "predator." He hasn't shown anything to show that he is that, at least not now. Unlike Leo (though I did like him) who she hired to prey on Sonny /to seduce him/falsely accuse him of sexual harassment/blackmail him. Not caring how that would hurt Sonny who hadn't done anything to her. I like Kate but sure didn't care about using Leo to prey on Sonny.
