Nuanced, subtle storytelling is long gone from today's daytime dramas, alas. The scenes with Jingles the Clown were often quite terrifying, and the storyline went on for an extended period. As it turned out, Zoe Cannell, Carter's sister and Julian Cannell's wife, was the one under the disguise. She was afraid that her husband Julian was falling for Andrea, and with a husband as handsome as Joel Crother's Julian, could anyone blame her for being nervous, LOL? Actress Lois Smith (of EAST OF EDEN and TRUE BLOOD fame) was mesmerizing as the deranged Zoe. This was Writer Henry Slesar at his delicious best. We were so lucky to have him pen exciting, intricate, layered mysteries on TEON, but his work on SOMERSET was also very good. I only found OLTL weak under his pen, but he was not alone at the helm of that show. Yes it is. So Joel Crothers was on Somerset too before EON? Where there any other Somerset stars that moved onto EON afterwards. And do you think that Slesar struggled at OLTL b/c it was a different beast from what he was used to?

You'd never get something like that nowadays. Instead, the characters would scream from the top of their lungs to show their pain and agony. But who is Jingle the Clown? And was Robert Delaney already on Another World at this point?

Bravo, make it happen! But I want her back on OC next season so she can eat Tamra's ass up.

I just hope the Dallas ladies and backwood, Bible thumping women. If so, they are gonna get eaten alive by Bravo's audience.

I didn't know that Slesar wrote out the Whitney family after the Jonah Lockwood story. Glad that LK went back to EON and became a stalwart character there till the end.

Oh I am for all Real Housewives of Potomac! That trailer was banging! Black old money FTW!! And I thought they were branding the Dallas show originally as Ladies of Dallas? I guess going with the larger brand is better. And I think after the messy season of RHOC, which is apparently on it's last leg, the loss of RHOM & RHODC, and NJ being in limbo, it'd only make sense to add new ones to the lineup to freshen up the housewives franchise. I just wish that Andy would pay attention to RHOCheshire and RHOMelbourne more and give them more promo time b/c they could help liven up Bravo too.

Thats true. With Nene gone, the negativity was also gone and the group as a whole had more chemistry together than they had in years. It was lighthearted but not boring at all Exactly. It wasn't draining watching Honda Pilot and Phelony in a scene either. W/o their 'master' there pulling the chains, they were actually decent. That could change though.... She'll be back. Bank on it. Andy will make sure she will; however, Vicki will have to fess up and come clean about everything to make sure she has a redemption story. IMO, I feel that Vicki didn't learn the truth until she was in too deep. She had to perpetuate Brooks' lie. But that's what you do when you're in love with someone. You'll do anything for them. That's why I am not so crucial on her. B/c at the end of the day all you see is a woman who fears being alone and would do anything for love. And none of the women that are being the most critical on Vicki have a pot to p*ss in and a window to toss it out of. Meghan's vile ass stayed using Leanne for story. Tamra used her daughter for pity at the reunion. Shannon blasted her husband on a national platform while allowing her kids to be exposed to the tryst on the same platform. All of them are trash. Vicki is just the lesser of all evils.

You feel that there's a missing element but most people I've come across on social media and forums have all said they didn't miss Nene and the show felt more light than it did the previous two seasons.

But it's still Bravo's top show. That's all that matters.

With Tanya and Lapdog, I feel like these two are not even needed on the show. Especially, Lapdog. Neither of them bring much to the table at all. They just support Dawn and serve as her flunkies/apologists. It's tiring. Unlike the other four women, we hardly ever see these women w/ their men or kids. This just strengthen my suspicions that both of their men possibly put them on this show to distract them while they philander about. I wouldn't be shocked if it was true. I wanna like Dawn but I cannot. She whines too much for me and it isn't even genuine seeing as she was such a bitch s1. Where is she at? At least I loved to hate that Dawn. Now I just want her to go away. I feel like Dawn plays up to the camera and wants pity. Magali, Lauren, and Ampika are all hoots. IMO, these three carry this show, hence why they are so close. They are like the Nene/Kim/Sheree of Cheshire. All three are shady. All three have no filters. All three are alphas. But Lauren should've gotten dragged tonight by Ampika. Not only did she toss the mask at her, which I thought was a cute mask, but she ruined Ampika's cake and tossed it at her too. Ampika giving Dawn that demon mask made me holler! Ampika is savage; she has no chill whatsoever. She is the chick that'll kick the dog while it is down and gives no f-cks. And I don't think she needs a legitimate reason to hate Dawn. She just knows that her and Dawn no longer click and that's fine. Magali digging into Dawn's ass was necessary. Dawn asked for it. She knew that taking a shot at Magali was gonna make Magali pop off. And of course, typical Dawn would play victim and call Magali 'aggressive' when she was acting out too. Magali made me proud by detaching herself from the situation. Dawn isn't even worth it. And Tanya trying to pick a fight with Ampika in the bathroom was so stupid. Just accept that you're Dawn's flunky. Ampika wasn't lying. Overall, this was a great season. Short and sweet. I hope they get greenlit for a 3rd season. I just wish ITVBe would give them a damn reunion. SN: Dawn clearly has seen my tweets on Twitter b/c she blocked me. Funny thing is that I've never @ her. Lord! Kenya v. Sheree was too funny. But Kenya was being messy at that moment; however, it was said that Marlo actually started the incident by bringing up Marlo's home. But tonight was good! I feel like the show is heading back to it's lightheartedness.

I don't mind Yo in the middle. It's better than the usual person in the middle (i.e. Kyle). I with that they would've switched Kathryn and LVP, so it could've been blonds on one side and brunettes on the other.
