Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Word is that Bravo isn't getting rid of either Tamra or Vicki, and that they might pay them a bonus to film together for season 13. Honestly, I hate when networks allow these women to have any say in production or show matters. If I were head of Bravo, and if this story holds any truth, I'd fire both Vicki and Tamra's a**es like I said the other day. RHOS is getting a 2nd season according to Krissy. Apparently, the cast isn't getting a cast shakeup as Aussie fans wanted Athena & Lisa to stay. I think that the primary issue with this show is that it was too heavily focused on fighting & making "good TV" instead of the bonds between the women. If Sydney has more light moments then they'll possibly OK for season 2. They need to study Melbourne on how far to go. Still boggles my mind that Auckland will most likely not get a second chance when it was lightyears better than Sydney. New Cheshire Housewives have been revealed. I'm gonna give this new season about 3 episodes and if it doesn't appease me, I am out. I just don't see how this show is gonna remain without Ampika and Magali in the mix. All the fans wanted back were those 2. ITVBe is stupid for not listening. They keep bringing on deadwood when they had the right chemistry with the original cast (Ampika/Magali/Dawn/Leanne/Lauren/Tanya). Stacey & Seema are OK additions, even though they both bland, but the rest (Misse & Ester) have been straight duds.

@Franko, thank for the correction (re: Jennifer Gatti). I always get her and Dinah #2 (Paige Turco) mixed up at times even though they look nothing alike. It's b/c they played the same role on GL. My mind went there too for a second until he said Janet wanted to uproot him to Europe and that's why.

Oh wow. I didn't realize that was Olympia Dukakis until you pointed it out, @DRW50. Never knew she was on SFT. That's Paige Turco too isn't it? Also, isn't that little boy the same one that played Jonathan Brooks on Guiding Light? I've read so much about Warren's sister, Kristen, from recaps that I never thought I see an episode featuring her. Is this all before or after Jo gets kidnapped? Maree Cheatham and Sherry Mathis are just fabulous. Two Southern belles that I can watch both of them all day long. Did the actor who played Brian play on another soap? I feel like his face is familiar. I hope more clips from the early 80s pops up. I can't wait to hear @Vee, @MichaelGL, @vetsoapfan, @Paul Raven, @amybrickwallace, @Khan, @slick jones, & @juniorz1 commentary on this episode.

Yes! That's the book everyone keeps telling me to read. I think I heard that Big Kathy allegedly sold Lil Kathy off on Richard even though he was way older than her. I need to get this book and read all the dirt in it.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
From what I've heard she sure did. I still need to read that book everyone told me to read about the Hiltons, and how their mother allegedly pimped them off to the highest bidder. I feel like that might be where all Kim's demons stem from.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@Cat, thinking back, I think Alexia is Democrat. I remember her speaking highly of Obama, and I think she mentioned on one episode or on WWHL how she and Herman tried getting Obama to do an interview for their magazine. I think Ana was the only Republican of the Cubana clique, which was partially rumored to be the reason why she and Lea clashed a bit. I would be shocked if Kyle voted Trump too, but you never know with her. Kyle knows what to say and do when a camera is on her, but I'm sure she's totally different once the cameras are off. Also, don't forget that Kim once dated Trump too. She probably knows him personally, which could possibly had tempted her to vote for him.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I'd image OC and NJ were all pro-Trump. Tre said she supported him last year on WWHL. Vicki and Kelly have both slipped on Twitter by revealing their support for Trump, and declaring their love for Melania. Tamra said on WWHL she couldn't vote for Trump b/c of his offensive comments to Mexicans (via Eddie), but I don't believe her. Someone on Twitter said Lydia was quoted saying she voted for Trump b/c she believed he'd unite us all. Don't forget the Potomac ladies too. All of them are Dems from what I've collected. I think most of the BH voted HRC too. I know for fact that Eileen did as she loathes Trump and has expressed it on her time line. I'd suspect that LVP and Erika lean left too b/c of their views on LGBTQ rights. I think Rinna leans left too. Dorit, I don't know. She rarely talks politics. Kyle, I am on the fence about seeing as recent rumors of her mother-in-law loving and donating to Trump have come out. This past election cycle further makes me wish that Miami was still on air b/c their opinions on the election season would've been interesting. Lea is a hardcore Democrat so that is a given. I'd be interested to see where the other women lean. Especially, Alexia, Marysol, and Ana--the Cubans. With Cuba being a hot topic in this past election, I am wondering where they'd lean. Ana revealed she was a Republican back when she was on the show, but would she vote for Trump like many Cubans? That's something I am interested in knowing...- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Understandable. But I do love a wealthy, chaotic family on the show. I can understand giving the trope a rest too after the last 2 flop families (the Maceys and Whites) occupying Home Farm.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Shannon, Tamra, and Vicki are all equally hated by most OC fans. That's why they need to either ditch 2-3 of them. It can be done. Bring back Jeana, who most OC fans love, to soften the blow. Make her the center and the heart of the show again.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Why do you want Home Farm gone?- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
With the Whites leaving, can we please get a family at Home Farm that this as wealthy, fabulous, & scandalous as the Wyldes, Kings, or Tates?- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NY: Bethenny is draining. I've grown tired of her even when I feel I should empathize with her. She needs to keep a therapist on speed dial. I get she had a hard life and marriage, but she has to stop playing the victim. The second that she grabs hold her power and wield it accordingly, the second she gain control in her life. It was so obvious that Lu, Sonja, and Ramona voted Trump. None of them would own it and they seemed ashamed by not telling the truth. In the words of Rinna, "Just freaking own it!" You voted for him. So what. Your silence spoke volumes. Fans are gonna express their distaste regardless. I was surprised that Bethenny voted for HRC as she gave me vibes that even she would vote Trump. While I like Tinsley, I have no respect for someone that sat out during the election. She had no excuses. I am glad that Dorinda and Carole dug into her a**. Tinsley needs to grow up; she's too childish. Also, I believe she would've voted Trump too as she got so defensive.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yep. She cozy up to Vicki onscreen, but would get someone (like Meghan) to secretly come for Vicki at all times. She'll constantly plot Vicki's demise b/c she wants the position Vicki is in. And this is what makes Shannon stupid. She's allowed Tamra to put her in a corner when it comes to Vicki that she won't be able to get herself out of it unless she learns to let go and come clean about David, which she won't. Shannon is all about appearances and she's allowed Tamra to instill so much hatred towards Vicki (in the process) that she won't be able to reveal that Vicki was telling the truth all along. Her hatred toward Vicki won't allow it. Whether she knows it or not, Tamra is gonna be the cause of her downfall, not Vicki. Speak of the OC, Meghan feels that this season is "too boring." Funny coming from her when Meghan is one of the boring cast members this season.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I wouldn't be surprised if Shannon fell on the sword this year. If TamRat gets wind that it is either her or Vicki, she'll make amends with Vicki real quick. Watch. She knows that Vicki will be there till she chooses to leave as aforementioned.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I don't think they even care to even develop anything consisting of Leyla as of late. She seems to get the scraps of everything. Priya too. Sad because I find those 2 to be the most endearing women on the canvas beside Laurel and Bernice, who barely gets anything too. I'm a Cain/Moira fan, but I was all for Pete/Moira for the time being. Especially, if it was tied to Emma unraveling and it revealing her secret. Emma going into a tizzy over Moira taking another man in her life (this time her son) would've been epic. I think the climax would've been good too.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
True but I don't pity TamRat at all b/c she's done the same to Gretchen and Alexis and their men, and she expected them to forgive him at the drop of dime. It's pure karma. She's dished it out. Now she has to take it.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Vicki didn't start the "Eddie is gay rumors" though. Fans on Twitter have been saying that since he popped up back in s7. A story about him being adopted as a grown by some old grown man and taking his last name (if I am right) is the reason why people drew conclusions that Eddie could be gay. I do think that Eddie prefers the company of men (i.e. David for one) over Tamra. I do believe that he and TamRat are a marriage of convenience--just a business deal. Every scene of Eddie/TamRat consists of him being passive-aggressive towards him and slyly insulting her. When he tries to be loving, it is forced. I feel like the only time we see David be his true self and light up is when he is with David. Eddie is just like Brooks--a con man and a user. He's just slicker than Brooks was. I don't see Andy ever firing Vicki. If she goes, it'll be on her own terms. I think that Bravo needs to get over their worries about getting rid of TamRat and Vicki. What happened to NYC was one instance, and looking back at it, it was the right choice. Had the show kept the cast from s4, it would've been a toxic mess like NJ is now. Now NYC is creme de la creme of the housewives. We lost NeNe as the anchor on RHOA for 2 seasons, and the show did fine. The only reason those seasons fell flat was b/c of casting choices and the need of new blood. If the OC alleviates us of Tamra and Vicki, and finds a plethora of new housewives with chaotic lives, the show will be fine. I feel the same about BH now too. If this season doesn't blow me away, then I feel that LVP and Kyle need to go too. I've been saying that LVP needs to stick to Vanderpump Rules and doing other cute spinoffs with her businesses; she doesn't need Beverly Hills housewives anymore. I think most fans would be content with dropping both Vicki and Tamra as people are tired of the toxic relationship between them. Tamra bring nothing to the show, but stirs drama. Vicki is too much of a mess now that it is unbearable to watch. Both of them need to go.- B&B: Old/Classic Discussion & Articles
Finally sat down and watched the jewels that @DRW50 posted. Again, thanks for them. These episodes basically highlighted all that is wrong and missing on B&B as of late. Kristen, Thorne, and Felicia are so missed and necessary on this show. There is the absence of family relations missing on B&B. While there was a bit of awkward tension between the Forresters during the episodes, you could still sense some warmth; you could still see they care for each other in a sense. Now they are all so isolated that it is sad. Seeing episodes of Teri Ann Linn's Kristen again was good. I loved her Kristen, and I do agree that she was very similar to Brenda Epperson's Ashley. She also reminds me a bit of Kim Simms' Mindy on GL too. There's just this natural sensuality about her and she is gorgeous. I just never cared for Tracy Melchoir's Kristen the same way. Seeing Margo and Clarke with Mark just reminds me of all that is missing on the show. Mark should've been a mainstay on the show, and I miss Clarke's goofy butt too. He would fit in so well at Spectra with the current crew. God I miss B&B when it was well written and had A, B, and C stories all airing at the same time.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread

^ This. I've always felt Vicki found out midway, panicked, and had to keep playing along b/c she didn't wanna be made a villain or fool. Instead of coming clean instantly that Brooks made a fool out of her, which would've made her a victim even more, she continued the lie b/c she hates to be alone. Vicki is a co-dependent personality. Her greatest fear is dying alone. Until Vicki conquers that fear, she is gonna continue to be a mess. I don't think that relationship with Steve is gonna be any better either. It's cute right now, but it is gonna spiral into a mess too. I agree too that unless they clean house with this show, we're gonna hear cancer-gate to the very end of time. IMO, I think that removing Vicki AND Tamra will be the solution to the problem. MegaNeck can go too. While Shannon is deeply involved too, we need someone to be the new center of the show and as crazy as it sounds, Shannon might need to be it. Keep Shannon and Kelly and dump the rest. I'd suggest bringing back Jeana too to soften the blow over the loss of Vicki. Make her the new heart of the show. I'd bring back Lizzie for the simple fact that she was the total pack of what this show needed: a cute, classy, bubbly, intelligent woman with a handsome, rich husband and adorable kids. Also, Lizzie was not scared of confrontation. Bravo then needs to seek out 3-4 new women (preferably a group of friends) and blend the 2 together.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I think Pete with Moira is the most dramatic and would've been the best route to continue with as Emma's secret is coming out. I think it would've been genius to have Moira seduce Emma's son, and it drives her even more mad to the point that Moira concluded Emma killed John.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I didn't see anything special about Gordon, but I didn't care about them retconning him into a child molester after all these years. Such an odd story for us to simply feel pity for Aaron & for Danny Miller to get material for the BSAs. - Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
