  1. I am seriously LOL at these stills. Two paunchy middle aged guys huffing n puffing. I kind of want to tune in to see how well (or badly) this fight comes across on screen! Watch that foot, Sean.
  2. Pettifleur was A LOT -- I was a little relieved that she didn't return in S4. I did enjoy her more in S3, though. Her tagline where she barks at the audience "I'm in the best shape of my life! Who begs to differ??" was iconic.
  3. The short answer is that Kyle is going to do what is good for Kyle. It is a conundrum for her, because Kyle already carries a bad rep as a disloyal friend/sister. So she cannot be seen to be too eager in throwing Kathy under the bus (like with Kim and LVP). Moreover, having Kathy around last season softened Kyle and ultimately made her more popular. Kyle knows this. Kathy was her shield while everyone else got their hands dirty with the Erika farce. My guess is that Kyle's default position will be: "We don't know what happened, no-one else was there, it's your word against my sister's. I'm staying out of it because it doesn't involve me." She will duck accountability, while at the same time being seen to have Kathy's back like a loyal sis. IF by any chance a recording is produced... then all bets are off. Kyle will want to stay in Andy's good books, and she will tearfully tell Kathy that, while she will always love her, those words are unacceptable. I don't know where that will leave Kyle with Kathy & Kim -- probably not in a good place! Still, Kyle has been here before. As long as she and Mauricio and The Agency continue to thrive due to RHOBH, the show will ~always~ take precedence over the Family. Eventually, Kathy won't be able to ignore the Umanskys' successes, and I suspect after a few years both sisters may find an accommodation. I don't know if Kim will be all that forgiving, though. And that's because this involves Rinna, and Kyle seemingly siding, once again, with her old Coven buddy. And speaking of Rinna -- I find it chilling how scorched earth Rinna is with people's lives. She doesn't just want to beat them at the game -- she wants to annihilate them completely. It is very vengeful. She still, to this day, cannot let Kim, LVP and Denise go. Kathy is Kim's biggest supporter and therefore a Kim proxy, and that's probably why Rinna grabbed an opportunity to gleefully take her down. She won't rest until Kim is broken, it feels like. If I were Garcelle, I would take note -- Rinna fears and despises her.
  4. Petridish is the most annoying, but her impromptu dance performance at her winter wonderland party is a Don't Miss! Gamble is fun this season, but wait to see how the seasons progress with her and Giner.... I think Giner saw through some of her games. There is literally a Nene quote in life for everything... What is dis, hunny... So nasty and so rude!... You never can win when you play dirty, hunny.... I SAID WHAT I SAID... We see each UH THUH! Close your legs to married men! Where is your scooter?? I could go on but I won't! Except to say her reaction to Phaedra's due date remains GOLD.
  5. Honestly? I've been missing Nene a lot lately. When Nene was good, she was GREAT. If not the #1 RH. I would love her back, mixing it up with that particular group.
  6. I LOLed at that part. Melissa and Teresa were hovering like two nervous sparrows in case Gia said something that embarrasses them, and she was like "Back off, we can handle this." @Soaplovers @Taoboi Yeah, last year Dolores and Marge got interviewed by Danny Pellegrino on his podcast. M & D clearly got along well, and hang in the off-season, too. Marge especially couldn't stop gushing about Dolores. The interview was also where Dolores said she'd worked for Dr. Bill at his practice! I rewound that part to hear it again because I thought my ears deceived me. She didn't say anything bad about him at all, and may even have recommended him and Jennifer to the production company. @DemetriKane So the RHOA tea I heard was that Peacock may be doing a RHUGT 3 -- featuring the S1 cast of RHOA! DeShawn, Lisa Wu, Kim Z, Sheree and Nene. It's just a rumor on social media for now, but having DeShawn show up at Sheree's event makes me go Hmmmmmm....
  7. RHONJ @NothinButAttitude @Taoboi I was pretty devastated at seeing my fave, Dolores, turn so meanly on Jennifer. "We're not going to cry, are we, Jennifer" -- like she thought Jennifer was milking it. Which maybe she was, a little. But I'm sure we've all walked into a gathering and felt the chill from other people there and suddenly got hit with overwhelming anxiety. I think this happened to Jennifer, and the lack of empathy from Marge and Dolores astounded me. Dolores of all people! Even Jackie and MeHo felt a little bad for Jen. (Although I can't help but wonder if Jackie is trying to be Jennifer's friend in order to eventually bring her down -- for two seasons now, the Budget Coven have been laser-focused on Jennifer as their target). FWIW, Dolores and Marge are close, even though they are on different 'teams' (Dolores is also close friends with Caroline Manzo!). And another interesting tidbit: back in the day, Dolores worked at Dr. Zaddy Bill's practice as an office manager! This was after her stint as a corrections officer. I don't think she had an affair with Bill (!!) but maybe she saw some stuff. And told Marge. I still think Bill's an ok guy, BTW. Speaking of teams... full disclosure: I am Team Gia. This look she gave her Zia Melissa! LOL! I've seen commentary saying Gia was disrespectful to Joe and overstepped her role on the show. I disagree. Yes, she was insolent -- she's been over Joe & Melissa using her family for SL for 12 years. "Always acting a scene" is what she told Joe at one point. I also admire Gia for not backing down when Joe, Melissa and Teresa tried to impose the prevailing narrative which is the following: Juicy Joe was an evil villain who caused Tre to go to jail, tore the Gorga family apart, and drove Nonna and Nonno to an early grave. This narrative is false. Those of us who've been watching since S1 ep.1 know what we saw. Juicy Joe was a crook, yes. But Teresa wanted -- by any means necessary -- a mansion, instant wealth, and her shot at landing this Bravo reality show. Did she understand the legal repercussions when she signed a bunch of papers Joe threw under her nose? Probably not. But I think she knew that sh*t was not on the up-and-up, and she went with it anyway. Not that Joe & Melissa's finances were all that perfect when they built their Mini-Me McMansion in Montvale -- the rumor is that Joe re-mortgaged Nonno & Nonna's house (behind their backs!) to get the financing, and he missed a payment and they lost their home for a while. All this so that the Gorgas could get on RHONJ and launch Melissa's 'singing' career. And I say all this as a Tre fan, BTW! But... it is what it is! And Gia has seen all this and knows. She saw all the fights behind closed doors. She lived with her grandparents. She knows it's not 100% Juicy's fault and that there are nuances. And if anything gave the elderly Gorgas undue stress at the beginning, it was the divide between Joe and Teresa which was broadcast for the world to see. So, yeah, I think Joe needs to reflect a little on the factors that actually brought down Da Famb'ly before he pops off at his young niece. Having said all that, there is no denying the love Joe and Gia hold for each other, and I was really glad they hugged and made up at the end. RHOM Man, I love this show, and I cannot even tell you what actually happened this week. First of all, the fashion, honey! I want everything in Guerdy and Kiki's wardrobe. I feel like the fashion is aspirational and gorgeous without being "F*ck you, none of you common folk can afford this bling." Which is a problem I have with BH's over-abundance of labels (Dorit, Erika, I'm looking at you) which exhaust rather than inspire me with beauty. Secondly, Adriana is so messy and I love it. "Eet's BEEG and eets THICK!" Larsa clammed right up as soon as she heard that. Which says to me that the Kardashians likely had her sign some kind of NDA when their friendship went south. Because relationships with the Kardashians are contractual and transactional, and because they are like the Mafia and demand omerta! Rumors say that Larsa was dating Tristan Thompson first, brought him to a Kardashian gathering, Khloe made a beeline for him, and a few days later, Khloe & Tristan were a kouple. And Larsa had to go because she reminded Khloe that Tristan had been her bf first. Given how crazily territorial Khloe is about that cheating buffoon, this is a plausible-sounding explanation. Another reason might be that Larsa saw Kanye at his worst and said something and, at the time, that was a no-no. So buh-bye. Whatever the reason, I love how Adriana is trying to squeeze it out of Larsa.
  8. This is much worse to watch now that we know about Jennie. All season long she's been going after Mary relentlessly, I assumed to secure a place next season. The misplaced rage, though... she literally loses it because Mary dared to walk away from her. Mary never once gave her the attention she craved, and she didn't bat an eyelash here. She just glanced at the broken glass like 'Whats that?' Cool as a cucumber. Oh [!@#$%^&*] what happened? My Dolores??
  9. The decor may not be to everyone's taste, but the house and grounds are seriously impressive. And it's Beverly Hills.
  10. I cannot effing stand Bad Weather either! Especially Little Girl, who is an absolutely terrible actress. Harassing Meredith about her father's memorial and whether it was a Monday or Tuesday is cruel and ridiculous. To prove what? That Meredith called the Feds? And Heather in the previous episode raised the idea that the entire memorial 'might be' a lie. Whitney buzzes around like a mosquito, but Heather is the one who sows the seeds and sits back to watch her handiwork. I know fans of Jen Shah think she is more fun compared with sourpuss Erika. But I honestly expected the women to question Jen much more closely about the scamming of old people, orphans & widows. I criticize RHOBH all the time for sweeping important questions under the rug, but at least people poked holes in Erika's story. At least we had Sutton asking Erika the hard questions (and exposing her nasty nature). We have had bupkus from Lisa, Whitney, Heather, Jennie. Nobody has asked Jen about her place at the top of the pyramid scheme or the charges. It's a damn Federal indictment. Are these women are terrified of Jen Shah? Or did they make a pact not to bring it up because they don't want attention on their own questionable business practices? Instead, we get four f***ing episodes questioning Meredith why she didn't go on the black van ride. WTF? This is crazy deflection. Picking on Mary is insane. Yes, Mary is not nice. she is rude. She heads a cult. She's a party pooper. But you know what? I love watching her, and I'm sad she is off the show. She actually makes all this entertaining. She sees through all these women and tells them to their face what she thinks of them. Bad Weather and Jennie can hardly deal with her rude honesty. They try to peck at her and she just won't take their BS. So, now, with Mary gone, who is going to stop the Bobbsey Twins from riding roughshod over season 3?
  11. And this is why I'm going to miss Mary on this show.
  12. Yes. I believe she was evicted by a cast vote, otherwise Kyle would have been casting telephone votes to try and keep her fave in there! From what I've heard, Cynthia is proving a small hit with the viewers. If that's true, I love that for her! I really like Cynthia and felt bad at the way RHUGT ended for her.
  13. Women's snowboarding event was pretty good too. Tonight -- Women's figure skating.
  14. RH tidbits. John Mellencamp posted this 'supportive' message as Teddi prepared to enter the CBB house: Fake Donn Gunvalson trolled Lisa Rinna. Yikes.
  15. I agree. I think she is very natural and positive person who isn't trying to portray an Instagram-perfect image of herself. She also isn't cruel or messy for messy's sake. I suspect that this isn't the kind of RH that Bravo/Peacock is used to having on the shows, but she is a breath of fresh air and I hope she comes back next season. Speaking of not-IG-perfect -- I love that the cast serves us amazing signature styles (well, mostly -- Larsa and Adriana are a mess this Hampton trip), AND they also show us the BEFORE. Everyone in their PJs (well, Kiki in a gorgeous La Perla slip -- Kiki has been giving us incredible fashion), looking makeupless and hungover. Julia sick as a dog. It makes me appreciate the fashion effort more. Marysol is messy but I love it. Honestly, she, Adriana and Kiki should all be upgraded next season. ETA.: "Harpers Bazaar, bitches!" Yes, but Harpers Bazaar ~Vietnam~ Larsa! I love those shady Peacock producers. I guess even Kim Kardashian had to start with foreign glossies and supermarket gossip rags, too. Did you recently watch a particularly unsatisfying reunion? Was it RHOBH?? LOL j/k! Speaking for myself, I have completely the opposite reaction. I love the reunions. I love that these women often do get questions that put them on the spot and for which they have no rehearsed answer. I love that Andy gets exposed. In fact, such has been the backlash re: Andy's favoritism with Potomac and BH that it has forced him to do a better, more balanced job at the most recent tapings. I also think a Reunion can rescue a season. Case in point: S10 Atlanta reunion, which was both insane and cathartic in that Kim Z was finally called out after getting away with crap for years. I'm also someone who doesn't get the after shows.... I don't often have time to watch them, but when I do, I find the discussion repetitive and very little new light is shed on the season. Again, that's just my take. I wouldn't mind an extra YT segment featuring producers or Mr. Black Van Driver and their take on events which concerned them -- but not in place of the reunion. For me, most reunions bring the clash and the unexpected catharsis. Except with BH reunions S7-11 which were awful, stage-managed affairs.
  16. I believe it is the third biggest city in Colombia after Bogota and Medellin. I heard it is gorgeous.
  17. Men's figure skating: Nathan Chen (US) vs Yuzuru Hanyu (Japan) kicks off today, and I can't wait to watch the highlights. Can't wait to see the opening ceremony either, which I'm sure the CCP threw a cast of thousands and shitload of money at Zhang Yimou to direct.
  18. I'm probably alone in this, but this video is nowhere near as bad as Budget Coven [(c) @Gray Bunny] and the show made it out. I mean, it is hilarious in its, uh, intensity! And obviously Luis did something to end up there. But this is clearly some 'Get In Touch With Your Inner Man And Howl At the Wind' therapy retreat. This is what the Budgets want to pin on Luis and Teresa? Not sure it has legs. All this is very different from Reunion when the Gorgas lavished praise on Luis compared to Juicy Joe. He was even part of the HouseHusbands touring team when the Gorgas decided to ice out the Aydins and Bill dropped out. I'm not sure what changed, except the presence of TV cameras. It feels like a return to S4 with Joe Gorga, on the outs with Teresa about her man and butting heads with Gia. Joe is the thirstiest RH and grating on me. But I can see what you guys are saying about Team Tre vs Budget Coven. I can def see both sides' POV. And as you all pointed out, Budget Coven are united and have each others' backs. Team Tre do not. Part of it is because Teresa is the center and doesn't focus on anything beyond her own drama. She is all in on Luis and building a new life. I was surprised when she talked to Dolores, she didn't trust her enough to discuss the video. And Jennifer has been excluded by the Budget Coven with seemingly no word of protest from Teresa or Dolores? That disappointed me because i am pro-Team Tre. And I 100% felt for Jennifer defending herself against Jackie (who was kind) and Marge (who wanted to embarrass her -- and failed). Jennifer owned it and stood up to them, and at the very least should get their grudging respect for dealing with this head-on. And P.S.: her IG post about Melissa that the show flashed to is still 100% correct in every way, lol.
  19. Heard on a RH podcast once how NYC and BH housewives look down on RHONJ and say they don't watch it. But NJ is the show that consistently pulls in ratings -- and viewer affection. That demo is also pretty good compared to some other RH shows. Factor into that +1 day DVR views and streaming, and I imagine Bravo is pretty pleased with this. The fact that this happened with very little promo (I forgot NJ was back yesterday until I saw a passing mention) is even more impressive. I've only watched half the show thus far, but it's really nice to see the women back. I buy their family stories and their relationships with each other, and I think that may partly be why it has ratings consistency -- authentic ties. Teresa's dorters are not holding back when it comes to the seventh HW, Joe Gorga (!), and Frankie remains fine AF. The Luis mystery (is he another Brooks?) is given another dimension by Frankie saying he is a great boss and kind mentor. I haven't seen the Marge vs Jennifuh face-off, but I am primed! Can't wait to see Team Smug beaten at their own game. Now, am I right in reading in your post @Taoboi that Melissa, Marge, Jackie made fun of Jennifer's facework? Look, do I like it? Not at all. She was so pretty last year, and the new nose/chin implant were ill-advised. Jennifer said on her Instagram yesterday that the chin implant has since been removed and she didn't shy away from the commentary about how not-great it all looked. I don't think she is 100% happy with the results. However, Melissa is on her 8th face, Marge's mouth work looks like a blowfish, and Jackie is no stranger to a dermatological makeover. These chicks think they have a level of taste and smarts that elevates them above Teresa/Jennifer/Dolores, but they really don't. For reference:
  20. OMG! I love you. Zoe Lucker is a GODDESS! However, would Y&R even write for this force-of-nature diva? This is a show which features the insomnia-curing Amelia Heinle around the clock, front-and-center. Also, I remember back to the charismatic, glorious Maura West's time on Y&R and.... 😥 Y&R has no clue what to do with an actor who would give the show's status quo a much-needed kick in the ass.
  21. The best temp recast in the business! 😍 I know ABC has a vax mandate, and lots of triple-jabbed people have gotten breakthrough cases this winter --but now I'm wondering if lack of a booster shot is the big unspoken in this particular story.
  22. Erika arbitrarily turns so nasty and so rude whenever somebody says anything. Up until now (and bear in mind, it's already been six seasons with this punk), the rest of the cast just took it. Sutton, bless her heart, tried her best to face the gorgon ^^ while everyone else cowered behind their soup. I'm so glad Garcelle is not taking this like a kicked puppy (i.e. Teddi, Dorit). Instead, The Real has been talking about BH, and specifically Erika, for days now. Translation: don't f*ck with me, Erika, because I can sure as hell shine a spotlight on you.
  23. Jennifuh's new nose is... something else. Like wow. What a drastic change. I do love my queen of Queens, though. Yes, she's messy for messy's sake, but sometimes we need someone to ride roughshod over Margaret and Jackie, because they are so holier than thou.
  24. @DaytimeFan I love Eric Braeden on Twitter. He is one of the most common-sense voices out there, and I have no doubt of the personal conviction of everything he says. RFK Jr is an opportunist looking to raise his profile and have anti-vaxxers worship at his altar. He feels entitled to the admiration his father had but without doing any of the work RFK actually did. Knowing how Anne Frank and most of her family were exterminated (typhus/froze to death/the gas chambers) and relating it to his fat ass pissed about vaccine mandates governing entry into his fave bars/restaurants is shockingly GROSS. The victim mindset of the white, middle-aged and coddled is incredible to me. They really have no clue what actual authoritarianism and suffering are.
  25. Thank you for putting it into context. I was just so shocked by the almost nihilistic finality of Medvedev's words that it seemed to sum up a divide which, as you point out, has Djokovic as its most polarising figure on one side. I remember well Goran Ivansevic who was my favorite (if highly unpredictable) player over an extended period. He is now one of Djokovic's coaches! And Monica Seles had it SO bad, my god, the swell of hatred against her, especially when she would beat Graf. Being stabbed on court was absolutely insane and it took a long time to prosecute the psycho who did it.
