  1. Totally. And I believe both Teresa and Dina posted about Dina being in town on their social media, so maybe that's how the assailants knew when and where to strike, i.e. which evening Dina and her boyfriend would be out of the house. So now that BH and ATL are over, which shows will be replacing them? I know Potomac and NYC are currently airing... will it be OC? NJ? And now that we've had a week to digest the most fateful Reunion of all time (BTW Andy Cohen confirmed yesterday at NBC Universal upfronts that Phaedra will NOT be returning to S10 of RHoA), can we talk about how Porsha knew EXACTLY what she was doing when she threw her BFF under the bus? Obvs Phaedra is hardly blameless in this entire mess, but the more I think about it, the more I wonder if Porsha rehearsed this "Phaedra told me" slip-up so she would be let off the hook for the drug-rape allegation.
  2. That is horrifying. One of the scariest things on earth is to walk into your home and realise that a stranger is there. Dina was apparently punched in the face several times?? I cannot imagine the trauma. Her BF was hit in the face with a baseball bat! I hope they are recovering ok and their injuries not too serious.
  3. Another person with a drug-exacerbated mental issue. What is going on with people these days?? It feels like a collective loss of minds lately. Papa Smurf held his own. Matt was the aggressor. That poor woman trying to keep Matt calm and then having to drag him off Peter. I would have been petrified -- Matt is built like a brickhouse. Kenya needs to cut all communication to him, put out a restraining order and hire security. He is another Conrad Hilton basically.
  4. I am beyond annoyed, too. Bethenny was a BITCH last season and basically tried to crush Luann and get her kicked off the show -- all because Luann got engaged and stole Bethenny's thunder. But I am Team Bethenny when it comes to Ramona. Ramona is f*cking nuts. What was that gibberish? Is she trying to pick a fight because she knows Bethenny is no longer popular with the audience? It's all so random and contrived. She's always been borderline with her utter lack of social skills, but now she looks full-blown high. I wondered if that was what Dorinda referred to when she said Ramona was "emotionally heightened." Also, I don't know whether it's her eyeshadow or botched eyelid surgery, but those Crazy Eyes look a mess. I didn't love the Brenda Walsh choker digging into the thickness of her neck either. Really liked Tinsley this episode, especially when she talked about getting married at school. Next week looks fun with her makeout session caught on camera! I feel like Tinsley is still emotionally and in her head 17 years old. Carole needs to burn that brokedown sofa. I don't care if Lee Radziwill gave it to her (and I love LR). Oh, I def believe there was something going on. Dorit's non-denial denial and the look on her face when Rinna first mentioned it belied that. In these circles, both on BH and NY, coke and other things must be rampant. Those ladies are media stars and get so much stuff for free -- including illegal sh*t. HOWEVER. I don't think Dorit is a raging cokehead. Just because some dude had coke on his nose at this party doesn't mean Dorit should get blamed for it. And the whole point for Rinna to blurt it out was to destabilize Dorit after she held her own against Erika. It was the equivalent of Rinna pinning Dorit's arms back while Erika and Eileen take turns hitting her. Even if it is 100% true, I think Rinna is a miserable, hungry old cow for trying to get her in trouble with the authorities. It's like Cynthia said. At what point do these housewives stop making up increasingly nasty rumors? When do they start showing receipts to back up their allegations? When do they start showing remorse? I don't think I have seen Rinna show one iota of remorse. And she will keep throwing mud at anybody in order to keep her job, even as she fails to realize how much it harms her on the show. The audience can no longer trust what she says.
  5. Judging from the courtroom video, Conrad Hilton is struggling with serious mental illness. I'm stunned that Kathy Hilton has not sought major treatment for him until now --- the focus seems to have been on sweeping this under the carpet. Sound familiar? He's been apparently stalking his ex-girlfriend (who is only 21) for over two years -- a fact I only learned of this week. This is incredibly sad, for her who is forced to live her youth in fear and under protection. This affliction of hidden addiction seems to be a running theme in the Richards family. IA @DaytimeFan Kyle and Mauricio seem to have provided a real childhood and home for their kids. By all accounts, Kyle's eldest daughter from her first marriage is also very well-adjusted and works as a realtor with Mauricio. I've not always been Kyle's biggest fan, but as far as providing a nuturing family environment, Kyle is untouchable imo. She really thought about what kind of life she wanted to give them. I wonder if Kim and Kathy's obvious disdain of Kyle is actually resentment and jealousy that she carved out a happy family life for herself.
  6. lol I'm not saying I agree with it, just saying Eileen would probably nominate herself as Voice of Reason of BH, even as she attacks Dorit and Eden in order to deflect from Rinna. Speaking tangentially of Kyle, in another example of Great Parenting, one of Kathy Hilton's spoiled, entitled crotchfruit got his ass arrested trying to break into his girlfriend's mom's home and steal her Bentley. TMZ has the video of him screeching gay slurs at the police, then he tells one of them "I’m Conrad motherF*CKING Hilton, and don’t you forget it.” Robert Shapiro is going to defend his ass in court. #OJMemories #SixDegreesofSeparationRHOBH http://dlisted.com/2017/05/09/conrad-hilton-will-avoid-jail-if-he-checks-into-a-hospital/#comments
  7. OC had Jeana at one time. NY lost Heather (even though she was preachy), but I guess Dorinda has taken her place to an extent. Eileen would say she is the grounded one on BH.... NJ is a [!@#$%^&*]-show now that Caroline is gone. Cynthia also made a point on the final part of the Reunion, and today on the Bravo site, which was this: "My heart went out to Kandi. She had been battling the lies that Phaedra and Porsha said about her all season. It's really disgusting and sad to see grown women make up blatant, disgusting rumors about each other with absolutely no remorse, receipts, or confirmation of truth. I honestly believe that if the vicious lies don't stop amongst our circle, it will be our downfall. There should be limits morally and legally as to how far you are willing to go to try to hurt someone and their family. I was grateful to not have been affiliated with this garbage in any way. Thank God the truth finally came out, and Kandi was vindicated." Obviously gossiping about other HWs is part and parcel of those shows, but slander for revenge's sake -- because you are protected by the no-sue clause in the Bravo contract -- has gotten way too vicious. I'm not just talking Atlanta and Porsha, but also BH where Lisa Rinna was like a machine gun of slanderous comments. Unfortunately, unlike Phaedra, I don't think Rinna will be fired for being a loose cannon but rather celebrated by TPTB. Because she was 'open' about it. When Cynthia mentions downfall, she's not talking about her group of friends but these shows as a whole. @Cheap21 100% agree with your assessment of each HW this season.
  8. I am so glad I tuned in to the 4th part of the Atlanta reunion! I was bored by the other parts and didn't think this would deliver. However, the way Phaedra was exposed was so damn satisfying! Like a longtime wrong was finally righted. I sort of understand Phaedra's initial motivations for revenge: she lost Kandi as a BFF when Todd edged her out and had Apollo's back. And then there are Don Juan/Mama Joyce who do Kandi's bad-mouthing for her. However, ruining Kandi's rep with accusations of criminal behavior? She's lucky she didn't get slapped with a lawsuit. I cannot possibly see how anybody in the legal or political community in the US will associate with her now that she has been exposed so thoroughly. All that was missing from the episode was proof that she was the brains behind Apollo's fraud crimes! (Though Kandi practically provided an Amazon link to Angela Stanton's book). Porsha is the luckiest bitch on this show. She stays slandering others -- and hitting others -- with no consequences. I'll bet she'll be back on the show next season. I'll be shocked if Phaedra is. I liked the ending with the birthday cake. I know people think Cynthia is a bore, but I like her. She seems nice, she is beautiful ofc, and this season she finally shook off the albatross that was Peter and gained independence. I need somebody calm and grounded on these shows to balance the evil and the cray. With that said, as messy as Nene is -- I am ready for her to return in a fulltime capacity.
  9. It could be either anything. My feeling is that you were alone and they saw a lone target. They were waiting outside the bar for an opportunity. Maybe they view anyone 'different' from their narrow mindset as someone to attack. It's a mob mindset, a way to feel powerful. The need for aggression, to inflict pain on somebody like this, is of course pathological. Even though I am not involved in your story, I also wonder what becomes of somebody who does this. Maybe they come away from the experience profoundly disturbed by what they did and it changes them for the better. Or, it changes them for the worst. This may not be the first time they perpetrate a crime like this. Maybe they have entered the prison system for another incident of GBH. Maybe they beat up on their partner. Anyway, I am speculating and rambling. I am glad you saw another, better side to life in Scotland, even after this shocking assault. I have a friend who lives in Glasgow and I really like the city, too. In fact, I would say the welcome I have gotten there compared with London (lol) is a lot warmer and kinder. People reach out and communicate there. Even though I love living in London a lot.
  10. omg I'm so sorry GMac -- as a resident in the UK, I am completely horrified. I thought these attacks no longer really happen here, but clearly I am deluding myself. I don't know whether counselling is your bag, but if it is, talking about it with someone face to face can be helpful. The fact that you never reported it and had to keep your assault quiet is too much to bear, so I hope you have found a way to work through the feeling of helplessness you experienced that night. My heart hurts reading your story, I hope it has not stopped you from living your life fully, and with happiness. I also pray the thugs that did this get punished in kind.
  11. Perhaps it was the lesson learned from the US election which prompted voters to act as they did. Everything felt so manipulated media-wise and people were exhausted by it. They also realize that closing borders, nationalising more companies and giving the state even more power (Le Pen's solution) is not going to fix France economically or socially. From a security standpoint, terrorism in France has been homegrown, so closing the borders would do nothing. Everybody knows this. French prisons and the rat-maze psychological prisons of the banlieues are terrorism's must fertile recruiting grounds. A French-created problem at least 3 decades in the making. I'm not sure Macron's election will fundamentally change things, but the other option was so much worse. Re: AHCA, I am going to donate to Planned Parenthood in a few months' time, but more than that I feel despairing about the way giving birth and rape have now been reduced to 'pre-existing conditions.' Way to dull the impact of rape in the minds of Americans! It has now become a disposable expenditure. I am literally burning with rage at these women-hating politicians high-fiving each other over denying women basic healthcare, including c-sections. Apparently this is a vote-winner in heavily Christian GOP communities? [/rant]
  12. As a French voter, the lower turnout was noticeable in the second round. First-round lines to vote were I was (London, where almost 1 million French people live) were PACKED. The 25% that didn't go actually REFUSED to go, to send a message of some kind to the political class. That message seems to be taken into account by Macron in his speech last night where he acknowledged differing and polarised viewpoints. France has some acute economic and social problems, and of course the terrorism threat, but I feel like people voted for Macron because they were tired of the pettiness, spite and violent language of the campaign. They were tired of the partisanship. Maybe that is why he scored higher than estimated. Now turning to US politics... is there any way to resist/block this awful, misogynist, discriminatory AHCA?!
  13. Interestering that Porsha didn't want to hear what Shame about wanted to say, even though Shame about was coming to her in friendship. She just didn't want anyone to point out that she's a fool.
  14. This is kinda off topic but I just arrived in Rome (for work unfortunately) and at the airport EVERY ad involved either Gigi or Bella. Yolanda is definitely working her girls hard! She also showed up at the Met Gala with what looks like a face-lift and Anwar. Gigi and Bella were of course already invited. This family fascinates me, even after the Lyme disease mess. And the Fyre Island mess! I wonder if Yolanda is the mastermind behind her girls' modeling/fame careers. I'm not sure Lisa Rinna can match her for cunning when it comes to promoting her own girls.
  15. Seeing this, all I can think is: "The girl's freaking obsessed with me. I don't know if she wants to be me, or skin me and wear me like last year's Versace." One day Erika is going to unwittingly break Eileen's heart, and the aftermath won't be pretty. The day Eileen goes Danielle Staub on Erika'so ass is the day I want the Bravo cameras to be filming.
  16. What part of the RHoA Reunion was this? For some reason, my brain convinced me it was the final part but it must be Part 3 if we get the real meat next week. I'm kind of annoyed we had to sit through 15 prequels of nonsense to get to the last 5 minutes. Everything -- up to and including Drunk Peter -- could have been compressed into one or one-and-a-half episodes. Did Porsha really just defend her 'journalistic' integrity on national TV? And did she have the nerve to shade Andy for not being a proper journalist? I guess this is what they mean by #FakeNews.. This woman thought the underground railroad involved a locomotive, and threw false rape allegations at Kandi and Todd, and is now fronting like she's Christiane Amanpour checking her sources. I am ready for her impending fall next week. I can't unsee PElvis now. Phaedra looks super-high. She must have known this public collapse in her image was coming because she seems completely jacked up on anti-anxiety meds. Anne! That's it! She's a QUEEN with great lines, asides and insight. What's interesting is her lack of shadiness when she's being shady or passing judgement. She is very matter-of-fact and straight-up about her opinions. Angela "My name may be Stone, but everything I touch turns to gold." What kind of self-delusion....? Who IS she?? What does she do??? This is some fake-ass non-job pyramid scheme built on a house of cards! She's a freaking giantess, and the way she smiles psychotically when attacking the other women ("runt" to Gilda was borderline racist, let's be real) is the scariest thing I've seen since... Russell Armstrong? Andrea on RHoMelbourne? Apollo waving a chainsaw at Phaedra? Maybe even scarier. #FreeLea!
  17. Pettifleur was good her second season, but her emotional growth was just an act for the audience. At Reunion it was clear she had regressed, has no humor or insight about herself, and was still blindly supporting that lame-brain Lydia. After Dubai, I kind of would get surprised at seeing Pettifleur in scenes, like 'Oh yeah, you're on this show too." Melbourne has a very colourful cast of characters as it is, and Pettifleur was always trying too hard to be seen. IMO Gamble has been the breakout newbie of season 2, not Pettifleur; Pettifleur knew it and it rankled her. BTW, I know I'm behind the times but Real Housewives of Auckland is currently screening where I am. Omg i am OBSESSED. Angela Stone is like a smiling psychopath! Michelle is amazing, so is Gilda, so is the rich older lady who wants to free Angela's poor French intern. Julia is a tryhard bitch. They are about to board a yacht in Australia and I just KNOW something major is going to go down next episode.
  18. Holy sh*t. Phaedra went above and beyond. And I it me, or did Andy seem like he knew about this? His reaction to Kandi was a little... unshocked.
  19. I just watched a bit of WWHL with Dorinda and John Oliver. I may have to rescind my initial support of Dorinda. John Oliver was a class act as usual, but Dorinda was interrupting him and abrasive and still going in on Sonja. I hope she cools it a bit because it wasn't a good look on Bethenny last year and it's nagl on her.
  20. By far the best moment of the episode. I am Team Dorinda in that I understand where she is coming from. Both Dorinda and Sonja are Sagittarians (like me). Both keep things in until it builds up and they explode. And then they forget about it because the act of exploding cleared the air and let the toxic feelings out. And so it has proved to be in this case. Dorinda's tirade went on too long, and went too far (as houseguest Glenn classily pointed out in his toast), but it needed to be confronted. Sonja forgave Bethenny after Bethenny EVISCERATED her last season and tried to force her off the show. But Sonja still won't let go the fact that she wasn't invited to the Berkshires last year? Get outta here. Sonja needs to pick her battles. This isn't one of them. Plus Dorinda got to bark that epic line "How ya think I'm doin? NOT WELL, BITCH" in front of Candace Bushnell no less, who needs to become a FOH with a talking head -- STAT. I 100% understand why Bethenny did not go to Ramona's party after what Ramona said about her and her daughter. But her lurking outside on the phone with Carole was Gurl, if you want to be part of the action so bad, just bust your way inside.
  21. The BH reunion ended on a light note, but this season was another missed opportunity for me. Last season was so mean and toxic, and this season that meanness was just under the surface of all the forced jollity. People have said that LVP and Erika are jostling for the 'throne' of BH, Game of Thrones-style, using the other cast members as their proxies and pawns. If only that were the case! It would make for a more interesting show than pantygate, cocainegate and bunnygate. I am so over the bunny thing. Kim looked spiteful, Rinna milked the whole thing and then she came back 're-energized' and was just as mean as before. @Nothin'ButAttitude, @DaytimeFan , Rinna wasn't wrong about Kim needing Rinna to get back on the show, but she is just as toxic as that drug-addled delulu. Both need each other to stay 'relevant' on the show. Neither are a side I would ever willingly choose. The hard and fast rule of these shows seems to be "get the newbies to trip up, then blame them for it." I'm disappointed that Rinna did not get held to account for her own actions (lying in Mexico, cocainegate). She tried to turn it on Dorit numerous times. If you are confused about whether it was Dorit or Eden who implied that Rinna slips Xanax in her smoothie, the answer is: neither. Rinna bragged about it on camera, and when Dorit repeated it, she tried to smack her over the head with it. Rinna has probably trademarked #Xanax in a Smoothie by now so that she can hawk some statement T shirts on QVC. I am disappointed in the entire left couch. They are humorless and hypocrites. They have not changed from last season when they were Yolanda's very own Spanish Inquisition, interrogating and pointing the finger of blame at everybody. They bitch about everyone and when they get caught, they belittle the other person ("Bye! Buh-bye!") and tell them to get over it. Woe betide if anybody says anything about them, because like a rottweiler with a child's leg, they can never let it go. I am disappointed that her ride-or-die defence of Rinna is tarnishing Eileen Davidson for me. I am especially disappointed that the left couch is making me root for a couch with Vyle and Kim on it. BH has not been truly enjoyable in a couple of years. I don't think Andy realizes this, but BH needs an overall, even bigger than the one NY had after S4.
  22. Yeah, it was a depressing and stressful time and it's not fun to relive. I guess Andy is hearing this criticism because he basically said last week that the election would be dealt with early on in the season, and then we can get back to HW drama. But given that this episode was the last weekend before the election, it does seem dragged out into next week's episode. lol and yeah Carole's got nothing. Not even that unwashed chef who should have "30 Years Younger" tatooed on his forehead because that's all Carole talks about when she mentions him.
  23. @Antoyne @DaytimeFan Bethenny is growing on me too. She totally didn't let Ramona's 'porn' assertions get to her. Ramona is perfect for reality tv, but she is -- and always has been -- an awful person. She had the nerve to get mad, too, when Bethenny didn't react the way she wanted. What got Bethenny riled up was seeing the Ramona-Luann alliance in motion. In fact, the whole lunch smelled of a set-up between LuMona. Bethenny had it coming after the way she trashed Luann last season, but at the same time, Ramona and Luann are just too thirsty with this fake-ass fight. Sonja needs a wake-up call. She has been clinging to this resentment of Dorinda like a life-raft. IMO a lot of it is displaced anger at the others for shutting her out last year. The fact is that Sonja's delusions have chased everybody away. No-one wants to hear anymore about partying with John-John on the Yacht and the lifestyle brand projects that don't exist. Tinsley looks 1000% over it, too. Sonja is going to get eviscerated by Dorinda next week. Don't get me wrong, I could never vote for Trump or his ilk. However, Carole reminds of her candidate who didn't really like mixing with Rust Belt proles and preferred coastal elite types who blew smoke up her ass. Carole's VT when she snooted: "Ramona, like most people, is uninformed about politics" was kind of ugh. I am so dumb. All this time I thought Tamra & Eddie were a great marriage because he finally got her, supported her, and wasn't a Perry Wright in the making like Simon was. I feel bad for Eddie if he wasn't in the know. And wow production must REALLY despise Tamra if they want to publicly expose her like this. You know the co-star Tamra was accusing of leaking this has got to be Vicki.
  24. CavalryEileen riding in to Rinna's defense! Telling Kim "You don't know what you saw" smacked a little of "You're crazy, Kim." At least she admitted that what Rinna said was "messed-up wrong" but quickly deflected the blame onto Kim. Glad Kim pointed out that Rinna and Eileen stick together like a little gang. Looks like us two are not the only ones to have taken against 'Queen' Erika. The fake Lee Radziwill Twitter account doesn't love her either! She also had this one about Rinna:
  25. LOL Eileen following Rinna out to blow smoke up her ass was "Whine whine that was SO MEAN." As mean as Rinna telling Eden that Kim was on the brink of death and her family knows it? IA that Dorit has been great. She knows she's a newbie and takes the lumps, but neither is she a pushover. She also doesn't resort to tears when people gang up on her. One of the best moments was everybody (including Left Couch) complimenting her on her swimwear line and urging her to get back into designing. Dorit's face lit up like a child. Also loved Andy name-dropping Erika Kane, and Susan Lucci getting a few seconds on the show lol. I'm sure Erika is laying low and licking her wounds rn but whether she will take her experiences this year constructively is anybody's guess, especially as she is surrounded by servile Yes men (the Glam Squad, Eileen, Rinna). I'm hoping Rinna gets dragged next week. Otherwise she is going to keep throwing out any old harmful allegation that putters into her pea-brain. The coke allegation is the meanest thus far, and the fact that Eileen still defends her for saying that... She's gotten a free pass and, up until bunnygate, still hadn't bought a clue when it comes to Kim. There is absolutely no reason to mention Kim for two years straight -- she is OFF the show. Now Rinna has virtually guaranteed Kim's return to BH in 2018.
