  1. Well wow, Croatian media must not have anything else to write about today. AFAIK, GH never aired in Croatia, let alone recently so that anyone would know who Johnny Wactor is. And calling him "famous american actor dies" is such a click bait...
  2. Thank you as always, Jason!!
  3. Oh nice!! I love Janine, although I haven't seen her early stuff! But I still enjoyed her as a villain when I started watching. LOOVED her and I love the actress!! She is also one of my favorite characters. I wish I could watch all those old episodes. I loved Pat too! Was so sad when she died I loved young Ben too, played by Joshua Pascoe as well as Harry Reid (although I haven't seen his entire run). I know this is probably unpopular, but I LOVED Zainab I also loved the Brannings... obviously Dot.. ❤️ But I loved how messy Max and Tanya were. I loved Lauren and Abi and Bradley.. that whole family was so chaotic and dramatic For example, I find Jack the most boring out of the Brannings, and yet he's basically the only one left (well now we have Lauren and Penny, although Penny has done nothing since she's been back lol) I will have to watch those videos you posted here!! Thanks!
  4. Exactly! But funnily enough, I miss them, even Ronnie. Who are your all time favorite characters?
  5. Let us know what you think of Whitney and Zack's storyline Oh I miss Ronnie and Roxy too!! More so Roxy. Ronnie, I had an on/off relationship haha I found her boring at times. I recently watched their death on Youtube... So sad..
  6. Omg, yes! Hahaha I miss Jo Joyner and Tanya. I think I started watching around 2008. I watched Emmerdale around the same time and it was the first time I ever switched from US soaps into UK soaps. And I loved it. Oh thats not too bad Means you got the interesting episodes coming up! Enjoy!
  7. I fully stopped watching sometime after Bobby was revealed as Lucy's killer... was that a live episode back then? I think so, no? I remember watching that for sure.. so probably some time after that. And then I came back last year in August. Where are you currently with the episodes?
  8. Oh, I totally agree!! I didn't mean to imply that Whitney can have a happy ending only if she marries a man. Where my feelings of sadness emerged the most were during the wedding, when you know that [!@#$%^&*] will go down and Whitney will have her heart broken and her world will be turned up side down, not only because the man she loves slept with someone else, but that someone else is her best friend and on top her mother new about it all along and didn't say anything. So I kept thinking: "Oh I wish Whitney wasn't getting such a sad send off". But you are definitely right, that she did find some quick self reflecting, which then helped her reach peace and thus a happy ending, of sorts, with her daughters. I just felt bad for her during the entire ordeal. For sure! I am sure I would have felt it more if I actually watched during the entire 16 years. But I was there in Whitney's beginnings and now this last year. And it was sad. Seeing her say goodbye to all the friends and family.
  9. I have finally caught up as well! And even though I did not enjoy the Lauren/Zack affair, it did provide some great soapy moments! The reveal at the wedding was really great, when Whit jumped on Lauren, omg!! And all the confrontations that followed, it was all very well acted and really fun to watch. The birth scenes were lovely, especially the moment between Bianca and Whit. And then Sonia comforting Bianca after the truth came out, as Bianca cried. Do I wish Whitney was getting a happier ending? Yes. I wish the affair never happened and Zack and Whit left town together. But it is what it is. I just hope Zack and Lauren don't get together now. As someone who never really loved Whitney, I really did get teary eyed seeing her leave. Everyone clapping was really nice and it was more like people were saying goodbye to Shona. The moment between Sonia and Whit in front of the bus was sad, when she said to call Bianca. As for other storylines, I was happy to see not many Mitchells lately, so that's a plus. I was surprised to see that George's sparing partner was Junior! And then Junior having a wife and a kid, after sleeping with Bianca. Interesting stuff! Bianca seeing them at the cafe and nudging Junior was fun NOw that Bianca is staying apparently, hope her affair with Junior will also lead to something. I cannot believe I was so interested in the teens! Denzel and Amy's bedroom scenes were really good. Both young actors did a good job. Nugget is a real Panesar, isn't he? I was surprised at how he lied. But good scene there when Amy tells him that Denzel will replace him with someone cooler and then Denzel trying to get Nugget out of the filming session. I'm curious where all this goes. I hope this is not the end of the storyline with Yolande and Pastor Clayton. Great to have Freddie back! I really missed him. He has such a positive presence shining from him. I hope the focus doesn't go back to the Mitchells and Billy's dad, because that storyline has been the least interesting for me.
  10. Wow, it's been a long time since I even checked out UK tv ratings, so I had no idea that Emmerdale had better ratings than EastEnders 😮 But I hope they do go back to being higher than Emmerdale. Even though I haven't watched Emmerdale in ages and have no idea what their quality is lol
  11. I just watched it! It was really good! Loved the acting, it gave both actors so much to do and it is amazing that they are giving so much material to their senior cast members. I really enjoyed the episode. However, I really hope this is not the end for this story.. This episode was a rollercoaster of emotions, going from finding out, to shame, to anger, to blame, to rage, to laughter, to love... This is such a traumatic experience, these feelings cannot be resolved in one conversation. So I hope this storyline continues. I did like that Patrick (as many men of his generation) sort of blames Yolande for not rejecting Pastor's advances more firmly, which gives us a great moment of Yolande throwing the glass and yelling at him explaining the situation to him. And I wonder if she will just go to the church and they will just move the Pastor to a different parish. I know this happens in real life and going to the police now would be useless since they have no evidence. I know the show is going for realistic, but sometimes they should just go with the happy ending route and just catch and sentence the rapist. Oh I see what you mean completely. I only have been back not even a full year, so maybe I watched and saw all the murders, I would probably hate them too haha I do like Suki as well! That's why I would break her up from Eve and get her into a more exciting relationship
  12. Oh I love them. I don't like Suki/Eve, because I find Eve incredibly dull. But I enjoy such a dysfunctional dynamics between them.
  13. Oh you are right! That is also somewhat a copy of a recent storyline. I forgot about Theo since I started watching the show again when the Theo storyline was coming to its end. I do prefer Yolande's storyline just because it deals with a sexual abuse within church which I haven't seen on a soap opera before, so that gives it an interesting layer. But outside of that, it is indeed a copy of a recent storyline. They really should get more creative.
  14. The Six for me had awesome moments, but if this is its final resolution, then it is terrible But aside from that, I am now having issues with copy/paste storylines... we just had one friend sleeping her friend's guy (Stacey/Jack/Denise) and we just had a father coming back with an agenda (George's storyline). And I enjoyed both! But literally few weeks after these stories are done (in George's case even less), we are getting both again with Lauren/Zack/Whitney and Billy's dad coming. Currently, I am only really interested in Yolande's storyline. Although I fear how it will handled. I worry the Pastor will not be caught just because Yolande didn't go forward with calling the cops, and now there is no evidence. Aside from this and the aforementioned repeat storylines, we don't really have anything happening. Oh yeah, there is Jay's storyline, I guess.. But I don't really care enough about Nadine, so yeah. As all of you said, I hope we get some storylines for the sidelined characters like Chelsea, Cindy, Peter, Martin, Ravi, Alfie, Freddie (when is he coming back???), Kathy... I hope Alfie's cancer storyline is not finished as well. It had some nice moments, but not nearly enough for a lifechanging storyline like cancer. Didn't Ravi kill that guy and Denise had that video that got deleted? Is that never going to come back to get revealed? I mean, they were kind of going there with Martin and Ravi fighting for Priya, but I just dislike Avani.. I assume Reece's wife will wake up from her coma or whatever now that Sonia is pregnant. I could get into that storyline. I would be fine if they cut any of the Mitchells, Callum, Avani, I would be fine with them cutting Linda as she goes to prison, Bernadette, Howie, Eve, Felix.....
  15. It would have been better, but I still wouldn't enjoy it. I just have an issue when they put friends dating the same guy, especially in this case. This is not Whitney's hook up. She was with Zack for a while and they are having a child together. So yeah, them building this up would have been better from just a storyteller perspective, but I would still dislike Lauren and Zack for doing this.
  16. I agree with both of you that they could go with the Keanu's dad route. But they should make Keanu's death matter. So I hope his dad is not just a villain of the month. And I agree about Lauren/Zack. Bad decision, even if Whit is leaving, this sucks.
  17. I would not mind that. But yes, as much as I enjoyed the story, this resolution as played out by now, is not the best one, so I like your proposal. Lets see
  18. I think that they were afraid of having no one believing them since they had two bodies there. Which I though was a clever way. Had it only been Keanu (without Nish) I would think they same. But I hope the truth comes out at some point, in spite of Dean potentially being set free. But I would use that to make Dean just go out on a revenge spree and that makes him get arrested and back to prison for real. And for the ladies, I am hoping for some forgotten security camera at the pub that saves Linda.
  19. I agree that we should have more focus on the Beales!! But I am sure their storyline picks up soon. And as much as I don't like Phil, I have to admit, I did enjoy Phil and George's friendship. I do love seeing Bianca. Her introduction to Priya was fun. But is she sticking around?? I thought Patsy Palmer was only back as a temp. And now Bianca has a job at the Square? Hmm.. I am so annoyed at Lauren/Zack/Whitney. I don't want Lauren with Zack. I do still like Lauren and didn't see her as sanctimonious. Probably because I just never cared about Whitney. And I don't care about this storyline with Britney. I am ready for Whitney to go. But I do not like the exit storyline for Whit. Is Dean out now too? Or is he going to be in jail until the truth comes out in some way? hmm.. I do think he deserves it, since he never got punished for the rapes and what he did to Jade. The storylines right now are not really interesting to me (except Yolande's which is heartbreaking). But I am bored with Jay/Nadine and Whitney/Britney, even Sonia/Reece are boring... I hope the show focuses again on Beales, Panesars, Linda, Denise, Chelsea...
  20. To continue my monologue lol The Yolande episode was very well done. I really loved how they did the assault, they didn't show it as that would be too much and then muffled sound as she walks out of the room into other people, tears, running out, until eventually taking shelter in the Laundromat, where Elaine finds her and then have their conversation with the scenes of other women he assaulted throughout the years, reflecting all aspects of what happened and what happens next (church hiding it, police not being able to do anything, hurt and broken relationships... I think the actress did a wonderful job and I am curious to see what happens next and how they will bring Pastor down, because he is disgusting!! It's a really touchy but important topic. Sexual assault by clergy happens and people feel helpless with reporting it and often struggle to accept that a man of God would do this or that others would believe that he would do it, all of which was showcased here, which is great. Now the resolution of this story will hopefully showcase that at least sometimes justice wins.
  21. I wonder if CBS will give the show a multi-year contract from the get go, along with the multi-year contracts with the cast. If they go only for one year, they could have a bunch of the cast leaving after year 1, requiring them to recast if the renew past year 1.
  22. Wow! Congratulations on getting this off the ground! I must say, I was skeptical til the last moment. But I am very happy they are investing in a new soap. I just hope they give a real shot and not bolt at the first drop of ratings. Lets see who gets cast
  23. George's storyline comes to an end. It was a good story arc. I enjoyed it. Great acting and interesting topic. With Eddie in jail and Gloria dying (once again great acting by Colin Sampson, but also lady who plays Gloria), I wonder where this takes George. If this storyline will have any repercussions. Maybe George will seek out his brothers (I assume not), but Eddie mentioned George's son at some point, I think? Maybe he will look for him. And then there is the UK police... who seem to arrest you as soon as someone says you did something. lol It was funny that Linda went to give a statement that she saw Dean drag something into the Cafe, and they immediately went and arrested Dean for Keanu's murder. No proof whatsoever. Sure, during that interrogation police found the murder weapon, but that was after they arrested him. But anyway, I wonder if this sticks. Would this be the end of the Six storyline? It cannot be, can it? I would not like it if this is the end and Dean just takes the fall.
  24. I am finding Yolande's storyline with the Pastor interesting. I wonder where it will go. He is clearly getting too close to her, but he manipulated her into thinking it was all in her head. I wonder if (boxing) Denzel will beat him up or something, if he does something to Yolande. I am not sure I am liking the ladies framing Dean for Keanu's murder. I don't like Dean at all, but still...
  25. This week was exciting! I did not think they would find the body now. But I guess 3 months is good enough time to hide the body.. I wonder where they go from here and really I wonder how it ends. I mean one of the 6 is going to end up in jail finally.. Has to be Linda, right? I dont see how she gets out of this. Maybe they find some surprise security camera at the vic that recorded everything and Linda gets off easier? Lets see! But good week behind us! Although this Sharon arrest was reeeally rushed. Based on that voicemail that Bernie had? That was no evidence that she killed him. To make her a prime suspect? Sure. But to outright arrest her? Nah.. Phils lawayer will get her out straight away.
