  1. Jack: "I sure could use a drink to relax after all that drama with Li. Come on Poppy, let's go to that pizza place where Sheila works"
  2. Now I think it's Ridge because what could be more likely ATM than Ridge being the father and no one mentioning RJ?
  3. Sheila/Luna scenes could be fun, but who knows if they'll even play that story beat. It would be hilarious if the aftermath featured a bunch of scenes of Li getting increasingly mad when the various Forrester/Marrone/Logan's she explains the situation to can't understand what the fuss is about. Is Poppy supposed to be much older than Finn on the show? I think the actors are the same age.
  4. Haha. I think he wanted to make it Finn but chickened out (or didn't want to age him too much). I hope we see more of Li going forward.
  5. Haha, as if Sarah Buxon needs another reason to hate the Taylor character!
  6. Caroline in the City wasn't a great show but it does deserve a tier above the rest of satellite shows. In its second year behind Frasier it held its own, even on its tryout in Frasier's slot for a week. In year 3 when it moved to Monday at 9 - though it fell to the 40s - it came in 2nd in its slot ahead of Cybill and year 1 of Ally McBeal. Of course, the wheels came off in the last year opposite a surging Everybody Loves Raymond and year 2 of Ally Beal (its highest rated season). As a fun piece of trivia, it was Will & Grace's original lead-in before the show got 2 timeslot upgrades that year.
  7. RIP to a great actress. She must be in the running for most all time appearances on the show. I'd guess the top 3 would be her, Zeman & Bernard in some order
  8. Your first line is ironic because you defined the term perfectly. Hats off to you. In my mind a supercouple is limited to Luke & Laura and their knockoffs: Frisco & Felicia. All the main 1980s Brady couplings. Maybe Steve & Betsy on ATWT. I think calling Jessie & Angie a supercouple is an insult to the actors & writers. The characters had inner lives and ambitions that didn't revolve around their pairing.
  9. Does anyone remember the scene where Sheila threatens Stephanie and she retorts "I'm shaking"? Been trying to find it. Thanks!
  10. @Maxim Thank you, I hope you're having a wonderful Boxing Day! Hilarious that RJ wasn't invited to neither the Logan or Forrester gatherings. Maybe he and Li are hooking up on the downlow and ditched Eric's party. Or he spent it with cousin Flo. I hope today's show opens with Eric telling Ivy & Electra that the party's over so they can come out of their rooms now.
  11. 100%. I mean Will Levis had his sex tapes leaked this summer and not only did the NFL not bat an eye, Hellman's didn't pull his MAYONNAISE campaign.
  12. Remy seems like a placeholder until they can realistically find a silly reason to get Luna released and be the heel for Electra & Will. Chef's kiss for Brooke & Katie berating Ridge's misogyny towards Hope then firing Electra without hearing her side of the story the next day.
  13. It actually computes to me that Ridge would say that. He completely soured on Hope after she (rightfully!!!) couldn't commit to Thomas. I think he knows deep down his son is a loser and thinks that being with someone like Hope was his only shot at turning his life around. It's not Hope's responsibility of course, but Ridge is so self absorbed he'd never see that POV. As for RJ, on paper it would be interesting to get his take on the situation. But let's be real, the actor is very attractive but completely out of his depth and would add nothing to the drama. This isn't a case of Brad just getting bored with a character IMO, it's that he knows the actor is a dud. I still think Luna being a psycho is a re-write because of this. I wouldn't mind RJ being sidelined for a few months while the actor takes acting lessons. If he improves, great! If not, recast.
  14. Justin: Shouldn't we discuss your legal options against Carter in private? Eric: No, Carter's like family, he should stay
  15. LMAO at the Ridge/Carter best friends montage. A bunch of office scenes and shaking hands at a Christmas party.
  16. CBS looking smart for not moving B&B to 2:30 next year. The Talk being the steadiest show in daytime is interesting. Probably can be chalked up to avoiding politics (I assume still) and all the non-right wing news/opinion shows have seen their ratings tank post-election. Curious if The Gates team got a memo to cut down the political storylines.
  17. Because Ridge doesn't see him as a romantic rival. Pretty sure he's the only long-running man on this show older than Rick not to show interest in Brooke, Taylor or one of the Carolines.
  18. Not to take anything away from Ms. Williams, who is 100% deserving of recognition, but this absolutely not a big event in Canada. Being forced to give up a Saturday or Sunday to attend with clients is somewhat of a legal hazing ritual for those in marketing, media buying, or advertising agencies.
  19. Everyone's entitled to their opinion....but I'm of the opinion that GH was correct in telling daytime's most famous and highest rated storyline. Claire Labine had an amazing start to GH that lasted almost 18 months. This came to a crashing halt by overlapping the cancer and AIDS stories. While both were well written and acted, combined they totally sucked the energy out of the show. Even "fun" stories at the time such as Lois' wedding felt like they had an air of melancholy hovering over it.
  20. Agreed. It's not 1994 anymore but you'd think CBS would want people to develop more a viewing habit for it before the March Madness pre-emptions start a few weeks later.
  21. Did the show just forget that Brooke, not Ridge, is supposed to be Steffy's co-CEO?
  22. Just cut HFTF already and let Hope, Carter & Brooke either buy it out and/or start a new company. Hope/Steffy confrontations are getting so stale because it's happening every week in either of the 2 FC sets. Carter & Steffy's conflict over the direction of the company wont go anywhere either. Brooke becoming co-CEO has been a big fat nothingburger too. She can kiss Ridge after recapping other people's stories at home. Let Steffy have tension with Ridge & Eric for a while. She's the CEO but they went over her head to restart the jewellery line. There's a generational conflict to be mined there - why not flip the script have her be uneasy allies with Ivy for a bit.
  23. Carter butting heads with Steffy was actually fun to watch. It would be nice if the show focused on the conflict between these 2 intelligent business people with vastly different styles and upbringings rather than having Carter revert to becoming a pawn in the latest "Logans vs Forresters" drama.
