  1. I agree that they are trying (and failing) with Chelsea/Adam/Sharon/Rey, plus with Billy/Alyssa scheming against Adam. But this show just feels like it’s in a period of transition with no end in sight. No momentum. Everything feels like a glorified C- or D-story (with no peaking A-story), and they are hoping viewers have the patience to sit through all of this. And these writers aren’t Claire Labine. And the characters don’t really pop. The conversations feel incredibly plot-driven yet there’s not really that much plot to speak of.

  2. I just wonder, in Bravo’s very public quest to be more racially inclusive with its series, if Garcelle will be bringing along one of her friends into the mix. That would be ideal. But who knows with Sutton a full HW possibility and the desire to bring in a big star like Denise...

  3. The dialogue is weak, dry, generic, and expository. If you’re not going to be telling grand stories or creating visual interest, at least make me laugh or something. Give me some rich character insights. I felt the same about Sussman’s stint. If you’re going to spin wheels, at least make add some razzle dazzle. DAYS (which isn’t fabulous by any means) currently does it far better than Y&R.

  4. With Brandi claiming Heather Locklear received a cease and desist from Denise, I’m seeing more of those rumors of Heather joining BH (hinted at in this CD&N blind item). Heather reportedly hates Denise for hooking up with Richie Sambora right after (or before?) he and Heather divorced. I can imagine that Bravo would love to stick it to Denise by replacing her with an adversary who is an even bigger star. But with Heather’s personal problems, the last thing she needs is BH’s toxicity.

Right. The final 7 seconds of next week's episode will be the screen going black, somebody shouting "No no no!" and Karen going "MO-NIQUE!!!!"

The previews for this season’s Potomac have been persistently showing stuff happening two and even three episodes later. The show’s highly watchable, of course, so it’s not *that* annoying, but still...
