Oh, I agree about Hunt Block.  Can't stand the way he talks.  Awful!  However, I'd give my left tit if MA were to never play Jack again!

As someone who finds Vincent Irizarry smug and irritating beyond belief as a performer, I know how it feels to cringe at a beloved daytime actor. But, just curious, what do you dislike about MA?

I'll add in a vote for Mark Valley, though I don't think he'd return to daytime unless the roles were completely dried up in primetime (and with COVID, maybe a yearlong stint would be right up his alley!)

I wonder about that! People whom we assume wouldn’t return to daytime (within reason) might be open to it with other productions slowing down or not hiring as many people? I know a lot of productions are restarting or have restarted...

I like Matt Ashford. But I did like Mark Valley’s a lot too, so I don’t think he’s unrecastable. But if MA’s around, I’d always prefer him. I don’t feel the same way about Missy, who used to be luminous and just... isn’t anymore, which isn’t a knock on her looks but more on her energy and vibe.

I am living for her defiance. Like she said in that Hyperice commercial (that ran throughout the Open), “If our humanity makes you uncomfortable, get used to it.”

Personally, I feel the season was very mediocre. I do think Leah was overhyped and that people mostly liked her because she was younger and New York needs younger voices with the cast being mostly 55+. Now when it comes to a raise, I’m curious what she wants. I could see doubling her salary being fair or maybe going to $150,000, but that’s it. If they have to lose her I don’t think it would be the end of the world.

I liked Leah, but bye sis. You’re a dime a dozen in this town.
