Ashley seems a bit mean lately and that preview for next week?
I will *never* be a fan of Ashley, although I recognize what she brings to the show. I’m glad the editors noted her hypocrisy concerning Michael Darby’s outlandishly inappropriate behavior upon meeting the ladies.
Not to mention his sexual harassment of cast and crew…

Admittedly I haven’t been giving the show my full attention, but I noticed new bumpers with Camryn Grimes, Bryton James, and Cait Fairbanks. Have they done new intro shots too?
Is Lauren just gonna huff and puff or is she gonna give some teeth to her verbal attacks on Sally?
Bryton is such a great actor. This show is lucky to have him. He shines in throwaway scenes, like today’s with Mark Grossman.

I guess I need to get on Google. I feel like I'm probably aware of the drama BTS on Tamron's show but it's not ringing a bell. I know they've had a few producers ... having a shaky BTS could definitely lead the show to end prematurely, if you will.
The tea on Tamron has not been good.

I wasn’t into it either, but Brandy is the MVP IMO. The ladies are all good, but I feel like I’ve seen it all before a gazillion times. And it needs to be on streaming or cable, so we can really see them cuss each other out. It’s too prissy and PG for a soapy hip-hop series.

lol right? Stella and Phyllis are soooo different I would love to see it.
Joyce Guy is so Zen while Vernee is such a firecracker. I’d love to see how they’d play off each other’s energy.

Plan just a tad ahead. Give us the beats. Let us anticipate.
Urgh. So frustrated by all these decent ideas getting wasted on poor story-telling.
Indeed. A problem on all these shows, but ESPECIALLY on B&B. They certainly should have been peppering in Carter/Katie scenes before this. Even just giving Quinn some bitchy run-ins with Katie that Carter witnessed would have been better.

We got to know Val, Cheryl and Derek, etc. We got to know Sasha because he refused to be hidden. Same for Jenna. Brandon is getting there.
I think it’s a huge problem with the show. The newer professional dancers haven’t been properly introduced. In the past, we had the two episodes a week, which gave them more space to do more professionals-only dance performances, etc. I almost feel like they should cut the cast to 10 or fewer due to the fewer episodes. It would feel less rushed.
Interestingly, DWTS beat The Voice on Monday in the demo and tied with 9-1-1 for tops on the night. The Voice tends to wane after the blind auditions, but still.

RHONY
Ramona and Carole have exposed Bethenny as orchestrating the Tom at the Regency 'Don't Let It Be About Tom' moment:
Can’t stand her but that’s kinda brilliant. She certainly knows how to produce an unforgettable reality-TV moment and self-promote, for better or for worse.

Could be a matter of personal comfort for the actors.
I mean Steve Burton - who does zip for me but who is obviously in great shape - hates shirtless scenes and does very few of them so maybe the others in this list also have an understanding they'd rather not do shirtless scenes.
And maybe otoh Jason Thompson is an exhib and since no one seems to care about Joshua Morrow anymore, someone's gotta give them the quota of mannipples so he volunteers.
As I said, the ripped look is not my favorite but I gotta say it is stupid not to have featured Burgi's body yet. I mean, if only to sand off the 15 years age difference off a little.Could be. It reads as somewhat puzzling. But these things are subjective. These are soaps, after all, and shirtless hunks have been part of the deal for as long as I can remember. JT isn’t bad, but he doesn’t exactly scratch the same itches as Shemar Moore, Don Diamont, Nick Scotti, Josh Morrow, J. Eddie PECK, Scott Reeves, Eddie Cibrian, Thad Luckinbill upon his last return, KSJ, early Doug Davidson, Philip Moon, CLB, Justin Hartley, et al. (Or Ron Carlivati’s parade of himbos on DAYS, Carter/Thomas/Finn on B&B, Drew/Brando/Curtis/Chase/Dante on GH—although GH has become slightly more demure lately, save for Cameron Mathison’s bruised/bloodied torso on constant display lately.)

OMG, that’s something I didn’t know I needed but now I’m OBSESSED with the thought.

I guess folks were meh over Natalie Morales as The Talk’s new moderator. Between that, going co-ed, and Amanda Kloots on Dancing with the Stars, they’re going all out to little effect.

Yes to Cate Blanchett. She was attached at first but then replaced by Kidman. Seriously.
Right! Totally forgot. One Aussie for another.

Yeah. Still not sure about this either. I know Kidman can 'transform' herself but all I can think of is Bewitched and how bad that was when I hear she's playing Lucille Ball. LOL. I'm trying to keep an open mind as, of course, this movie is very different than that hot garbage.
I feel like for movies like this they go for a 'star' instead of finding the right actor to embody the person. But who knows, she may surprise us? I like the tone of the promo but I'm just not sure. I think it was more 'highlight the trademark red hair' more than hiding Nicole's face but it could be both. I mean, it's Nicole Kidman playing Lucille Ball. Hence why they probably could have gone for someone else.
Yeah, someone like Debra Messing probably wouldn’t secure international investors (or Oscar buzz), but NK would. I’ve heard other people suggest Cate Blanchett.

I can't really see Nicole Kidman as Lucille Ball.
Yeah, they really wanted to keep her face hidden. I can hear that she tried to do the voice, which, ok…

I don't have a body type and I don't mind most men shirtless for eye candy so I am all for it.
It is funny though to compare with what he looked like shirtless in 2008:
For the record he was an attractive man either way as far as I am concerned but I guess twelve years in daytime has nudged him towards investing in a gym membership.Well at least he was "taught" to wax early on.
Sigh @ soap male body image standards.
It’s just funny that I seem to see him in shirtless scenes far more than more conventionally ripped/jacked guys on the show. They do show Bryton shirtless a good bit, but not Sean Dominic, who has the best body on the show IMO, because they don’t write much for Nate, and they don’t tend to do the gratuitous nudity like the other soaps. (Y&R certainly did in the past.) Michael Mealor is gone, and they refuse to sexualize Richard Burgi, who’s in amazing shape.
I don’t even remember what Adam looks like with his shirt off because they made him into a eunuch. I’m tired of the coitus interruptus with him and Sally.
