Episode 7: Neil gives in and finally understands that he should be there for his daughter and support her decisions. So he calls her and tells her he is sorry for arguing with her over her choosing to be Cane again. Sophia over hears and it brings a smile to her face that her baby’s father is being more reasonable. Devon and Abby are grabbing a bite to eat at Glo Worm talking about his new studio and record label. They enjoy each other’s company until Roxanne intrudes on their “luncheon” by grabbing a seat and grabbing a fork and begins to eat Abby’s food. Abby is furious. Lily tells Daniel that she is going to be with Cane. Daniel is very upset and disappointed with her decision. He wishes her luck and tells her he will always give her his shoulder if she needs it. She appreciates by giving him a friendly hug. At Jabot, Genevieve tells Jill that once her contract is up at Jabot she will be out the door. Jill brushes off her threat by saying Jack can’t be swayed by some lousy seduction attempt. Jill calls Gene a leech and tells her the only reason she has a job is because she’s sleeping with him. Gene tries to slap Jill but Jill is much faster catching her hand before the slap can land. Jill:” I’m much quicker than you my dear. You’re going to have to do better than that.” Jill says with a smile before walking away. Avery, shows up at Restless style with a picnic basket ready to have lunch with Nick. Phyllis is super pissed off and begins slamming things around trying to get attention. Avery looks at her and giver her sister a wave. This pisses Phyllis off even more and she storms out the office. Next :Paul delivers stunning news about Jeffrey as Adam’s plan against Victor begins to kick into high gear…

Episode 6: Michael informs Paul of Jeff’s dirty dealings and also informs him Kevin has confirmed that Jeff has been skimming profits from Gloria and Glo Worm. Michael ask Paul to look into things to see what he can find. Paul says he will. Chloe and Kevin talk about the planning of their wedding. They get into a little spat as they can’t disagree on a theme, Chloe wanting the big church wedding and everything that goes with it. Kevin wants a non traditional Vegas style wedding. Ashley and Tucker are also discussing their wedding plans. They are leaning toward an early summer wedding. Adam over sees Sam and Sharon playing with Faith in the snow. Adam is extremely jealous and vows he is going to destroy Sam. Sophia tries to tell Neil that he is being to hard on Cane and that he should cut him some slack. He is the father of Lily’s kids. Neil still doesn’t understand what Sophia says nor is he really trying too. He genuinely does not like Cane and not happy that Lily has decided to take up with him again. The two don’t see eye to eye on the situation. Next: Enemies strike out at each other…

Week Two Previews: The stories really begin to kick into high gear as I wrap up many old storylines and seamlessly begin to march into my storylines. The Big changes begin by weeks end with a very big Friday cliffhanger. Many surprises are in store for Sharon’s “Get out of Jail” Party. Adam up’s the stakes in his master plan for ultimate revenge on Genoa City. Paul uncovers some very surprising news about Jeffery. A beloved and missed leading lady returns this week to Genoa City. Life comes to a screeching halt for The Great Victor Newman! Things get intense for Abby and Devon.

Episode 5 Lily invites her family and Genevieve over her house to announce her reunion with Cane. Neil is very upset and he argues with Lily. Nick confronts Phyllis over her argument with Avery. Tells her to leave him and Avery alone. Phyllis is pissed. Sharon, Sam, Noah, and Faith all have a family dinner where Noah announces to his mom of her surprise he’s working on for her. Phyllis and Ronan grab a drink which leads to them having sex. Adam taunts Victor. Victor issues Adam a threat. Warns him that he will be very sorry he decided to set foot in this town. Adam simply says : “Check Mate dear old dad. I got you before you got me.” Adam walks away as Victor wonders what in the hell his son has done…… Next Week: A big event promises to change the foundation of Genoa City. Adam’s revenge will effect everyone in Genoa City in many different ways as my new storylines and the repair of the show really begin to kick in.

Episode 4 Kevin tries to talk Billy out of going against Victor. Reminds him members of his family have died for going against him. Billy won’t hear of it. His mind is made up and he is going to expose Victor for the evil old bastard that he is.. Lily tells Cane that she wants to try and be a family again with him. Cane is ecstatic. Gene and Jack have a romantic evening. Gene tries to get Jack to fire Jill with a sexual seduction. Gloria tells Michael about what Jeff has done. Michael tells her he will have Paul do some investigating. Adam gives Ronan a damning docket incriminating Victor in various crimes including the murder of Diane Jenkins!…. Next: It’s going to be a good and bad day to be Phyllis Newman.

Episode 3 Glo confronts Jeff over the stolen money from Glow Worm‘s bank accounts. She threatens divorce as he lies to her about the money. She tells him she is going to Michael with this. Jeff then threatens Kevin for exposing him. Sharon calls Victor and tells him about Adam’s erratic behavior. Victor reassures her that soon Adam will be taken care of. Sharon presses him on what he has planned. He tells her she need not worry…. Victor and Nick run into Adam and both warn him to stay away from their family. Victor warn of dire consequences. Adam says we’ll see about that…. Avery tells Nick about her spat with Phyllis a few days before. Billy tells Kevin he is done playing Victor’s game and he’s not going to stand for it no more. He is going to fight back and get his life back… Next: Lily has a surprise for Cane as Adam launches a preemptive strike on his father…

Episode 2 Jack holds a management meeting at Jabot where Jill an Genevieve square off. Jack announces a new initiative and expansion for the new Jabot line. Noah and Nick tell Victor about Sharon’s shin-dig. Victor says he will spread the word. Nick also tells his dad about his incident with Adam at Crimson Lights. Victor says he will take care of Adam once and for all… Adam questions Ronan on the Diane Jenkins murder case and insists Victor is the one who killed her…. Kevin confirms to Gloria that Jeffrey indeed has been stealing just as Jeff walks in the office at Glo Worm… Sharon’s House, Adam pleads with Sharon to give him one more chance while Sam is in the shower. Sam comes out and Adam and Sam get into a fight… Next: The Newman men continue to be at war…

Episode 1 Victor goes to Spencer to let him know Adam may try to turn in him for some crimes because he’s mad and vengeful. Victor instructs Spencer to ignore Adam . Spencer informs TGVN that is a decision he will make on his own. Nick and Noah are shooting pool at Crimson Lights and Noah comes up with the idea to throw his mom a “get out of jail party“. Adam over hears these plans and he taunts the duo leading to a war of words and threats. Phyllis warns Avery to stay away from Nick and that he is off limits to her. Avery calls her sister’s bluff. Neil and Sophia host a “sip-and-see” where friends and family gather to see Moses. The Young and the Resltess will debut its first episod on Jan 2nd and will run weekdays. Debut Week Previews: The story picks up right around when Sharon has been released from jail. This is a bit of a slower week as I get a grip on the characters and the stories. A change is coming but not super fast. Slow paced stores is what Y&R is known for and I shall continue that. 　 Lily comes to a big decision regarding her own family leaving some members of the Winters family not happy… Victor and Nick continue to try and Keep Adam away from their family. .. Phyllis and Avery continue to be at odds… Gloria gets suspicious of Jeff leading to a socking announcement….

My favorite soap is The Young and the Restless. I have been watching regularly for about 12 years now and kept tabs on it through the 90’s. I’ve come to respect Bill Bell’s vision for his show. In fact Bell is one of my writing mentors. Over the last several years, as I have seen regimes come and go one thing is clear, my show is lost and if I want to see any hope of change I have to do this myself. For the past year or so I have been talking with various people from this board (You know who you are) about creating a fanfic. Nothing really panned out so if you want something done right you got to do it your self. That’s what I am doing here. I’m doing this Y&R fan fic for the fans that miss the Bell era days of this once great show. From miscasting issues to storyline mistakes I am going to correct them all. I have about 5 months of material ready to go and I must say it’s really good and exciting. Some of you may know me from my other creation S.T.E.A.M. and if you are familiar with the series itself you may be asking how am I going to pull this off. Well my friends I do and very well. I invite you to take this journey with me. I have already released a cast roster. The series will pick up right after Sharon is set free from jail therefore going back in time some what as I created the fan fic right around that time. Stay tuned for previews. Some MAJOR changes are in store. I am wasting no time what so ever in fixing this series. Also for the busy people, I will be writing the series in prose format. We all are busy and the episodes are designed to just take a minute or two to read. We can expect five episodes a week and I am aiming for an early Jan debut.

I read your quote Mat and I loved it all. I do feel you on the creativity part of things I was in a slump around ep 128 but just recently I got kicked into high gear. Thanks you for some of the insight and things you played with. I am glad you wrote what u wrote it was a fulfilling ending. I would not have changed anything. Damn this is so sad

WOW Matt !! So bitter sweet I might cry. A GREAT FIANLE. Tanish is a punk ass in my book. Who the heck is Benard. EEWW ! BAD BREATH CHARLES DIVINS!! YUCK!! I notice in this ep( of all of them to notice this in) Ava and Nate has really never interacted with the other cast memebers. Looking back they were quite isolated. Glad that Nate and Ava will be together. I so loved Dylan and Sean coming to terms and I also loved Lana and Sean's last scene so sweet. I love John and Alley. And it was so nice with Carlos and Jenny And hot damn Nan. GREAT JOB MATT YOU DID A PERFECT JOB. It was an honor to be a reader and take this journey with you. I met a great friend in you. You have helped my craft. Don't ever give up writing even though ur acting now. Good luck on PP and your career and keep in mind what we talked about before. Again I would love to have Nan as Nat's younger sister. If not that's cool. PP was a great show. It is so sad to see it end. Most of all DONT BE A STRANGER!!
