No twitter hasn't failed as predicted but it's no longer a viable platform. It's a step about 4chan, if even that.

I know I, myself, am getting pretty sick of having to delete all those thirsty, big-breasted 'bots from my list of followers.

To be clear, Vee has never met Frank Valentini.

I don't believe @Vee has ever made on like he has.

And Frank precedes Gary at OLTL. He had been there since Rauch.

Yep.  IIRC, he was Rauch's assistant before being promoted to stage manager.

All I can say is, I'll be very curious to see how well THE GATES does with viewers and how TPTB at the other shows respond.

The final two seasons I don't feel were necessary and they only happened because CBS was in their third place primetime mess era.

I agree.  I know I've said this before, but to me, the final 2-3 seasons of DALLAS felt like nothing more than a parade of indistinguishable blonde women mixed with J.R. and Cliff's Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote-like antics.

David Jacobs house is not of my personal taste. It's very 80's modern/art deco.

Looking at his house, you suddenly understand why KNOTS went pastels crazy in the late '80's, lol.

    I know Nina/Sonny have like 5 to 10 vocal fans.😂

    Gee, that many?  ;)

But seriously.  I'm kinda surprised how quickly they moved Carly and Sonny out of Drew and Nina's respective orbits.  Even if Sonny/Nina and Drew/Carly were dead-end pairings, you usually expect the writers to keep Carly and Sonny in play at least for a little while - and even tantalize the audience with the possibility of Carly and Sonny getting back together themselves - while they create a new pairing (in this case, Drew and Nina) out of the ashes of two old ones.  But it's almost like Sonny/Nina and Drew/Carly have been erased from GH history, with Sonny moving onto Ava, and Carly being tested with John and Jason.

It ended and they barely share scenes at this point. Nina has gone in an entirely different direction and it works for the character.

Same goes for Drew and Carly (or at least that's how I see it).  They hurried up and broke up those two pairings, lol.

On the ratings thread for last week. Someone asked if we should be worried about GH and Errol said yes.

    Ah.  Okay.

    Sigh.

I hope ABCD doesn't take that as a sign that they need to change HW's again.

  7. TBH, I'm hard-pressed to name any pre-teen or teen actor that I enjoy watching on any series.  Nothing against 'em, I just think it's rare to find an actor that age who can act convincingly despite having limited acting and life experiences.

That's why I've always looked at SORASing as a necessary evil.  The sooner you can get a character out of their awkward years and into more mature storylines (hopefully, played by a mature actor), the better.

I hate both of them, but they are damn entertaining these days lol.

It's an experience I thought I'd never have lol.  But, honestly, they are entertaining.

Just shows you what a little good writing can do, lol!  ;)

I still am not completely sold on CM as Drew though.

Frankly, I don't think you have to worry about that.  Something tells me CM will soon be too busy pumping out movies and other stuff for Great Aryanmerican Family to give GH his undivided attention.

You can bring back Molly at some future point far from now if there is an actual real storyline and interest in her

I'd have to agree.  Then again, I've always been one who felt Alexis shouldn't have had any children.

Being that far in-advance, to me, is ludicrous.

At the very least, it makes tweaking (or ditching) storylines that aren't connecting with the audience nearly impossible to do.  And if something does connect with the audience?  Well, let's just say, you better pray it doesn't get dropped in a hurry, because if it does, you have to wait so long to see whether the show will touch back on it that you end up forgetting about it altogether!

  10. Who would have thought that I, of all people, would be looking forward to seeing what happens next to Sonny Corinthos or Jason Morgan?  That's the power of Patrick Mulcahey for ya, lol!

See, I find Violet to be one of the most obnoxious child actors ever.  The lisping, the precociousness, the singing.  Listen, she's a young kid so I wish her the best life off my tv screen lol.

Apologies for taking this off-topic, but no child actor was more aggravating to me than the little girl from the Welch's Grape Juice commercials, who later was cast as the youngest Lambert kid on "Step by Step."  That might have been the only period in my life when I advocated for population control.

Lord, I don't care. Of course she should probably stay silent atm, but it's not that serious unlike the time Nancy was up all night drunk tweeting about Viola Davis. She was lucky to keep her job after that. This? It's a meh for me.

I agree.  I love NLG to death, but I really wish she would keep away from social media, lol.
